"Are you sure you want to bring so many people along?" Looking at the numerous tactical dolls standing in the cabin, Angelia couldn't help but give Renault a strange look.
"What else? How could we possibly buy everything we need in one afternoon with just two or three people? Let's get going; time waits for no one." Renault said, walking directly into the cabin and closing the door behind him, putting on the communication headset.
"You guys lead the way, we'll follow behind, and we'll rely on you when we enter the city."
"Got it, we won't let you suddenly get shot down by anti-aircraft guns." Angelia patted her fully enclosed helmet, somewhat helplessly gesturing to AN94 in the pilot's seat.
This was probably the only advantage of the tactical dolls made by the Statesec that sets it apart from normal PMC's and Doll manufacturers Garrison —they could use most military equipment, including helicopters.
Moreover, they were not the kind that were inept; they could drive freely right after leaving the factory, which seemed much more proficient than SPAS-12.
The city they were going to wasn't too far away. It would only take a little over half an hour by helicopter, and with SPAS-12 seemingly wanting to go a bit faster, when Renault saw the isolation wall of the city, only twenty minutes had passed.
"Simonov seems to have become lazy lately. It's strange that she didn't come out this time. It feels a bit unusual." As the helicopter gradually descended, MDR remarked with some emotion.
This time, in addition to her, the other tactical dolls who came with Renault were AK47 and a few others who had just recently come under Renault's command.
M1919A4 finally got the chance to go out on a mission with Renault, and of course, G11 didn't get left behind.
And with G11 out, HK416, who was like her motherly figure, naturally followed.
If you counted Renault himself, there were a total of ten people this time. MDR knew that Renault probably didn't intend for her to lend a hand with the mission; most of them were here to do the heavy lifting.
For the actual mission, M1919A4 and G11, along with Renault himself, would probably be enough.
Angelia had two more people on her side. Bringing too many people for a capture mission wouldn't be easy to cover up.
The airport where the two helicopters landed looked very formal. Angelia, being from Statesec, probably wouldn't land them at the airport on the black market side. The ground crew were all wearing work uniforms, looking very official.
In addition to their two helicopters, there were several others parked at the other aprons of the airport, with specialized fuel trucks next to them refueling.
"You go with them to shop. AK12 and AN94, come with me. Put away the long guns. M1919A4, let MDR hold your gun for now." Getting off the helicopter, Renault walked directly to Angelia and said.
"Huh? Why? Does G11's gun doesn't need to be put away?"
Hearing Renault deliberately asking her to hand over her imprinted weapon to someone else, M1919A4 immediately pouted.
"What are you thinking? This is reconnaissance. What would it look like to carry a heavy machine gun? Are we picking a fight?" Tapping the head of this fellow, Renault took away her imprinted weapon and handed her a seemingly inconspicuous hand... stun gun?
"What's this? A toy?"
Holding the stun gun she received, M1919A4 immediately curiously inspected it. Seeing that it didn't have a muzzle, she even planned to pull the trigger to try it out herself.
"Don't waste it. It's for when we capture someone later." Of course, besides the stun gun, Renault also brought along a ten-meter-long nylon rope to tie people up later.
Meanwhile, AK12 and AN94 didn't put down their imprinted weapons, they just adjusted their straps and then folded the gun stocks, carrying them behind their backs.
The half-body cloak they wore could conveniently conceal their weapons, although sometimes a muzzle might peek out, as long as it didn't attract attention in the crowd, it would be fine.
In contrast, G11 was much simpler. Her imprinted weapon came with a box, which looked like an ordinary safe box. Carried by such a petite figure, people would probably think the contents of the box were some kind of musical instrument.
"Aren't we waiting for it to get dark before we act?" Following Renault, G11 and the others walked out of the airport. AK12 couldn't help but ask strangely.
"No, why wait? What's the point of waiting for it to get dark? In the pitch-black darkness, you can't even see a shadow, so why wait for it to get dark?"
The area where the broker was located definitely wouldn't be a brightly lit place. When it got dark, they would have to rely on night vision goggles to find the target person themselves.
And the romantic notion of leaving your doors unlocked at night obviously couldn't exist in this city. Once it got dark, you couldn't even see a ghost in every household. If you didn't go home to hide, would you wander aimlessly outside and get caught in the end?
So Renault planned to take advantage of the daylight to stroll around the areas where the brokers might appear. Perhaps they might even discover some other information.
It would be best to directly find the target of the mission. Then, they could simply use the stun gun to subdue the target and bring them to the airport where the helicopters were parked. Then, he would have completed the mission.
Naturally, Angelia, who heard Renault's words, wouldn't stop AK12 and the others. She nodded to Renault and them, indicating that they now directly followed Renault's command, and quickly led MDR and the others towards the bustling streets.
Seeing Angelia happily leading MDR and the others to go shopping, Renault couldn't help but sigh. This woman, is she accustomed to shopping?
But this was probably also the normal state of his tactical dolls. Like Renault, who would personally lead the charge for any mission.
That was the kind of commander who couldn't be found within a dozen districts.
According to the terrain map Angelia had shown him before, Renault kept walking and headed straight for the house where the target lived, even taking some spare time to buy a pack of cigarettes from a nearby shop.
AK12 and G11 followed behind Renault, seemingly following him like children being led by an adult to play.
But the place they were going to was the civilian area near the black market of the city. dolls naturally recognized such existences.
The two little ghosts didn't show any signs of being dolls, but the two behind them, with their long legs, were clearly dolls. After all, those two tactical dolls looked too beautiful, and in the civilian area, there couldn't possibly be any normal women who could look as beautiful as dolls.
So, as soon as Renault led a few tactical dolls into the civilian area of the city, he probably had already been completely exposed.
