Renovation

(AN: I know these chapters are boring but please bear with me. Please wait as I will have him go to a new world for a quest)

After the transaction is done, Kazuya has now done the first step to completing his quest. The next thing he needs to do is see the interior and renovate it.

So he directly went to the site by riding a taxi. He already got the key to the lock so he opened it.

Entering he saw the place was full of dust. The tables and chairs are broken. Also, the windows of the place especially in front are cracked.

And that's just the front part, he then went towards the back area where the kitchen is located. Kazuya sighed in relief when he saw the kitchen was not so damaged, although he still needs to renovate it a bit.

Then he went to the second floor which was used as a storage area. It was a pretty large space so Kazuya got some ideas.

"Maybe I can renovate and make rooms here, with a bit of decorating I can make this a living space. Maybe I can even move out of my parent's house" He thought the idea is feasible, he can live here maybe even with his girlfriends. Well, until he earns more money that is, at that time he can buy a new house.

After seeing the place, he got some plans on his head already. But before that, he went home as dinner time is approaching.

After riding a taxi, he arrived just before dinner. When he entered he saw his mom cooking and Kurumi helping her.

" I'm home," He said which got the attention of the two. His mom and Kurumi are the only ones in the house currently as his father is still not home.

" Oh Welcome back! Kazuya, where we're you this afternoon? "Kurumi asked while smiling.

Kazuya scratched the back of his head," Well...I had an appointment, I'll tell you all while we eat"

His mom watched the interaction while smiling. She liked Kurumi, she already treated her like her daughter-in-law.

They had a wonderful dinner. Kazuya explained all the things that happened. From his buying of a two-story building and his plan to build a cafe.

His parents were surprised and asked where he got the money to spend. He struggled to find an answer, luckily Kurumi helped him by saying that her parents lent it to Kazuya.

Kazuya's parents didn't ask any more after that. That's because when his parents asked about Kurumi's family when she first arrived, Kazuya said Kurumi's family has company and she's the only daughter with no siblings thus her parents spoiled her.

Well, that is a lie of course but all is well as it worked. And only Kurumi knew where he got the money as she was with him when he sold off the jewels.

Kazuya went back to the building he bought, the next day. Last night he hired some people to clean the place today.

He had them remove all the broken tables, chairs, etc. He plans on changing them all into new ones. He also helped clean the place to hasten the process.

Few days after cleaning the place up, Kazuya already renovated the place. The damaged windows are removed and changed. He bought new chairs, tables. All of the tools and appliances were brand new.

The previously dirty place was now clean. He changed the interior too, now it looks cozy. While looking at the new place, Kazuya was satisfied.

"Now the only thing left is hiring some staff. For cooking, I can do it but I will also teach some as I can't stay here every time. Hmm...maybe I should post some flyers that said I am hiring? But wait...I need to have uniforms too...Argh, so many things to do" He muttered frustrated at his predicament.

And so he got busy in the following days, in the end, he managed to hire some employees. A total of 6 people, 4 waitresses and 2 people for the kitchen.

All of the people he hired are young people. The 4 girls were high schoolers and the two boys were still in college. Luckily though, the two boys were quite skilled in cooking so Kazuya has some helpers.

And lastly, his employees have quite an attractive appearance which is a plus as they can get customers easily. They will start working after Kazuya officially opens the cafe but for now, Kazuya had them familiarize themselves at the place.

And with that, another step was done. He now needs to officially open his cafe.
