Meanwhile, Kazuya and Haruhime just got out of the Hephaestus familia workshops when Kazuya almost stumble when the system announce something.

[Detected that host has joined a familia. Ki usage is now locked. For the duration of the quest, the host can't use his ki. The host needs to rely on his physical strength and the skills he can get through falna]

'WTF?!' he exclaimed in his mind. But before he can continue another announcement is issued by the system.

[Now that host has joined a familia, an event is issued.]

[Event: Monsters = DC

Objective: Kill monsters to get a fixed amount of DC.

Monsters from floor 1-4 = 2 points each

Monsters from floor 5-7 = 4 points each

Monsters from floor 8-9 = 6 points each

Monsters from floor 10-12 = 8 points each

And so on...]

[Note: The event will last for a month. Good luck host!]

The corner of Kazuya's mouth twitched in annoyance seeing the event. It was like the system was rubbing salt on his wounds as the event was announced just after his ki was locked.

Although he can go much deeper than average level 1 or even level two adventurer with his current body strength, it would have been easier with his ki.

And now it looks like he will be staying for much longer than he needs to be. Now he was kind of regretting he accepted the quest. It turns to be harder than he thought.

He still has a quest like eliminating Evilus after all. But luckily he bought some guns with him. He bought it from the system as he attached them to his drones back home.

But he doubts he can use guns against monsters but at least he can use it against people right? Wait that sounded quite wrong.

"Sigh..." Kazuya sighed as his shoulder dropped. Haruhime who was beside him asked in worry.

"Kazuya-sama, are you okay?"

Kazuya turned and saw her worried expression. He forced a smile and patted her head.

"I'm okay, don't worry." He consoled her, "Come let's go to the dungeon. I will teach you how to wield a weapon so you can protect yourself too."

"Yes"

He smiled upon seeing her happy expression. He thought, 'Well, I guess I can stay here for a bit longer and teach Haruhime. Anyway, I gotta enjoy my life here as much as I can. That's my reason for accepting quests, after all, to enjoy adventures in a different world'

Upon that thought he smiled, "Come on Haruhime!"

Now inside the dungeon again. Kazuya and Haruhime was in floor 2 of the dungeon as floor one is so crowded.

Kazuya was killing monsters again but he lets some pass him. Of course he already cut off one of the limbs of those he let passed.

While Haruhime will need to kill those he let passed. But her expression was that of a scared person.

Kazuya shouted towards her, "Haruhime you can do it!"

Haruhime steeled herself and watch as one goblin neared her. She tightly held his Tanto and ran towards the goblin that has only one hand.

The goblin tried to attack her and she tried to dodge but her arms got wounded. Luckily it was just a small wound.

She endured and plunged her tanto into the heart of the goblin. The goblin soon died and turned into smoke. Her face showed a happy and excited expression.

"Ka-Kazuya-sama, I did it!"

"Yes you did it. Congratulations! But wait there okay? I need to clean these guys left" Kazuya said before rushing towards the monsters that was left.

With a tight grip on his katana, he started slashing. This time he didn't let a monster passed.

Swoosh! Swoosh! Argh!

His katana swiftly cut through the air before cutting the monsters. The monsters screamed in pain before disappearing into black smokes.

After Kazuya was done killing monsters. He swiped his forehead full of sweat. Due to him not having his ki now, he can't use powerful techniques to kill monsters faster.

"Fuuh...Finally done! Let's go collect the magic stones and go up. I will teach you some martial arts for the rest of the day." Kazuya let out a deep breath and said to Haruhime.

"Yes!" Haruhine nodded with a determined look. Ever since she saw Kazuya kill those bandits, she seemed to change.

Maybe because of Kazuya's influence but it seems she will be different from her canon counterpart.

And the two soon got out of the dungeon and sold the magic stones to the guild. They got enough valis now for their expenses.

After that, just like what Kazuya said he started teaching her martial arts. And he also has her do some basic exercises to train her body strength.

For the rest of the day all he did was to teach her. And they had dinner in the hostess of fertility after their training.
