Cooking and spar

(AN: I'll give him magic here but it's not super op. Please don't complain after seeing the magic)

When they were inside, the first thing Kazuya did was ask Tsubaki if he can use the kitchen. Which she agreed, so with that he started cooking some food.

Soon an delicious aroma spread through the air. Haruhime and Tsubaki also smelled it as they have stronger senses than normal people.

It wasn't the first time Haruhime smelled this aroma as Kazuya often cook for her if he's not busy with something. But it was the first for Tsubaki.

"...Here you go, thanks for letting me use your kitchen, Tsubaki" Kazuya said gratefully, as he prepared the food. It can be considered their breakfast since it was still morning.

So after a hearty meal with the two, Kazuya was now full of energy.

"Aah! Finally, full of energy again." Kazuya stretch his arms, "Anyway Haruhime and Tsubaki, I'll leave now since I need to go to the dungeon" he said but Tsubaki stopped him.

"Wait! Now that you're here how about sparring with me, eh?" Tsubaki grinned while Kazuya force a smile. He would've accepted it if his Ki isn't locked. But seeing that Tsubaki isn't going to give up anytime soon, he accepted.

"Alright but let me prepare first. Can you wait for me at the front or where should we spar?" He asked.

"We can spar at the back of my house, there's an open space there. Alright I'll wait for you there" She said before leaving with a grin.

"Um, please be careful Kazuya-sama. And goodluck" Haruhime said before leaving too.

'System, can you show me body reinforcement type magic? Also how can get magic power or mind as they call it here?'

Kazuya's mouth twitched, 'Why do this system sound like a shady salesman?' he thought

Hearing the system's retort, Kazuya remembered that the system can basically hear what he is thinking.

"Ahem* Anyway do it, increase my magic power. And let me see the list of body enhancement magics"

[Affirmative! Deducting 2,000 DC...Increasing host's magic power reserve...increasement done]

While listening to the system, Kazuya can feel a warm feeling in his body. Just like when he still can use his ki. The energy was flowing inside him like a stream of water.

After that he started browsing for body reinforcement magic. He bought one but sadly it can't compare to the reinforcement his ki can give him.

The magic he got can reinforce his body but he needs to spend magic power in order to sustain it. Although he got quite a large amount now, what if he learned some attack magic.

He shook his head, he really miss his ki now since he can reinforce his body just by coating it with ki. It's still more practical using ki as body reinforcement but this magic will do for now as it increases his body strength and defense by 2x.

So with that he went out to the back of Tsubaki's house. There he saw her, Tsubaki still with her usual outfit. But in her hand her a sword, a katana to be precise.

While Kazuya had some casual clothes on with the longsword in his hand. He stopped in front of Tsubaki a few meters away.

"Ready?!" Tsubaki grinned, he nodded. With that the spar begin. With her level 5 strength, Tsubaki dashed towards Kazuya in a fast speed.

Swish! Bam!

Swinging down her katana in full force it cut through the air creating a whistling sound. But it was blocked by Kazuya's longsword which created an explosive sound upon impact.

Kazuya took a step back upon feeling the force, 'Sigh* As I thought, even with the body reinforcement magic I'm currently using, I can't compete with high level adventurers. Maybe I can fight level 4's or even level 5's but I can't defeat the latter' He smiled wryly upon the thought. It would be different if he had his ki but unfortunately it was locked for now.

Quickly getting out of thought, Kazuya counter attacked. He used all his strength and pushed Tsubaki away with his full force. She staggered a bit, and Kazuya took that chance.

Swoosh! Swoosh!

Tightly gripping his sword, he started attacking her swiftly. But as expected of Tsubaki, as a veteran in fighting she quickly recovered and blocked or parry the attacks.

But Kazuya smirked, he used his full strength and closed his distance towards Tsubaki. He first attacked with his sword and when she parried his attack, he arrived just inches away from her.

He smirked towards her as she was caught off guard. Using his free left hand he punched her abdomen with a strong force.

Bam! Bam!

"Gah!" Tsubaki's mouth opened due to the force of Kazuya's punch. But he didn't stop, while she still didn't recover he kicked her side.

Slid!

She slid back a few meters away. While there was blood in tge corner of her mouth she was grinning.

"Hahaha, this is fun." Laughing as she said that, she continued to attack him. This time it was Kazuya's turn to block or parry the attacks.

Bam! Bam! Clang!

Explosions were heard upon the impact of there weapons. The sounds of metal hitting each other were also mixed with the sounds.

The two fought fiercely but it ended in a draw. Each of them can't really overpower each other by much except if they got caught off guard just like what happened to Tsubaki earlier.

In the end the two stopped their sparring match before they got exhausted as they still had work to do. And of course, Haruhime was told by Kazuya to stay with Tsubaki. Of course he already asked Tsubaki for permission and she agreed.
