(19) Discerning eyes

Clothes were sprawled around the room without any regard and only the soft and tender sound of women moaning rang out raggedly. 

Hailene pushed her body up and down, above Lucas's shaft. Her face was fully red and her body was covered in sweat, showing the heavy labor she went through for a while.

Laying on the bed beside each other, Hailene had already fallen asleep. 

Lucas looked at the new notification and saw the results, he was mostly satisfied. He got himself a new pawn too, she might be useful in the future. Another notification hit Lucas at that moment.

Lucas's eyes widened, all three of the options surprised him immensely. 

'First the unique talent...' Lucas looked at the system shop for its information.

Looking at the other options.

Bio-mech technology was mostly used by catalyst users. Who makes suits and machines to fight against the enemies. Its cost was around 35,000 villain points in the shop. 

As for the sword technique, Lucas didn't think deeply of it, he could just buy them using money if necessary. 

There are five stages in techniques. Grade 5 was the highest and grade 1 was the lowest. Grade five techniques were almost like a legend, only the top guild might have some of them.

'I choose option 1.' Lucas declared to the system with no hesitation.

"Ugh..."

A burning pain hit Lucas's eyes at once, but it was not to the level of unbearable. After waiting for a few seconds, it went away. 

At that moment, Lucas's eyes shone in a golden hue inexplicably. The golden light flashed and his eyes returned to normal.

Looking around, Lucas could already tell the difference. Even in the dark, he could see most of the things around the room. 

'I don't have experience so I will have to make up for it with my arsenal of skills. I will have to train a little in this one month. Choosing a sparring partner from my father's company is the best option.' Lucas decided on lightning speed.

After contemplating for a while, Lucas decided not to use his villain points for now. It was better to find a protagonist before using them. If he didn't find any protagonist in this one month, it would be quite awkward later on.
