Time has passed since the day Gin met Kuroka. Kuroka became accustomed to living in Kuoh Town and Kubo Town. She would always follow Gin every time he went hunting strays.

The stray devils in Kubo Town were close to nothing. After all, a rumor spread about a person hunting devils in Kubo Town. So the stray devils that wanted to hide didn't dare to wander near that place. Gin was forced to expand his hunting ground. Aside from Kubo Town, he added three more towns in his area.

Gin placed most of his time in cultivating his Ten Great Devil Bodies. His Evil Capital Devil Body was stuck in third level but his Elemental Sea Devil Body reached the second level. He also achieved the Sun Law Devil Body.

The Sun Law Devil Body specialized in defense and it greatly increased his life force. His life force was incredibly mighty and he could use it in a battle too.

With three Devil Bodies, Gin gained the power to battle someone at Mid-class. Despite having this power level, Gin didn't dare to hunt anymore. He stayed in Kuoh Town as he knew that there were people that were after him and Kuroka.

Gin was in his room looking at the window. He stretched his arms and looked at the bright blue sky.

Masaomi was the only one that stayed here in Kuoh Town. Cleria was gone. She was probably investigating the rumors and gossip about the King Piece. As for Kuroka, she already left a week ago as she said that she had important things to do. She also assured him that she would return.

'Kuroka is still a little girl... I'm three years older than her so I think there's still a lot of time. Maybe, half a year or one year.'

Gin turned around and sat on a vacant chair.

"I don't need to hurry. I just need to take it step by step. It seems that I really need to contact the Khaos Brigade." He muttered to himself.

Kuroka was gone. Probably, she was already in contact with them. He would ask her later after she returned. For now, he should focus on getting stronger. But he already consumed all the Devil Qi Stone. His training speed had decreased a lot.

The next day, Kuroka returned.

"Where did you go?" Gin asked.

"Nothing important, nya," Kuroka answered.

"Hmm... Are you sure?" Gin narrowed his eyes and put his place closer to her. He looked straight into her eyes.

"I..." Kuroko broke the eye contact as she turned her head sideways. She shook her head and jumped. She transformed into her cat form and landed on top of Gin's head. "Don't worry about it. The most important thing is that I'm back."

Gin could only sigh at her. He stretched his hands and grabbed the black cat on top of his head. He held the cat in his arms while gently patting her head.

"I'm going out for a while..." He suddenly said.

"Where?" Kuroka opened her eyes and asked.

"I don't know," Gin said.

"Can I follow you?" Kuroka asked.

"No, you have to stay here and protect Brother Masaomi and Sister Cleria. Don't worry, I'll return here." Gin explained to her.

"Why don't you take Brother Masaomi and Sister Cleria with you?"

"I can't..." Gin said as he knitted his brows.

He already asked the system about this. The system gave him information that he couldn't bring people from this world to another world unless he had unlocked the Companion Function. Also, World Travel had cooldown time. He wouldn't be able to use it for six months.
