The Swaying Inn

The three people sat there in the lush backyard of Brahma chatting, completely forgetting about the troubles that brewed outside after her( their master's) disappearance from the inn.

" Where is she?" Wei's aura turned oppressive as soon as he realized the person he was guarding had long disappeared even without his knowledge.

Wei who had always been indifferent with his still heart as calm as a peaceful lake felt a sense of suffocation looking at the empty bed in front of him. It was unknown to him what took over him but he knew he felt like wanting to kill someone.

This emotion left him bewildered for a moment as Wei pressed his chest and asked once again, " Where did you take her?.... If you want to live tell me this instant!"

As soon as he gave the warning the crowd felt the ground beneath them rumble, shaking to and fro in rhythmic motion, the whole building of the inn seemed to be swaying along with it.

People swayed and tumbled often crashing into each other or the hard walls or against the heavy pillars of the hall. The whole place was in chaos all rushing for the door while crying and screaming.

" Earthquake!...run, earthquake!..."

They pushed and shoved each other in a bid to save their lives long forgetting about their haughty images, their faces showing their fear and panic. The man who had his foot skewered on the floor also took this chance to free himself and made a run with his limping leg forgetting about all his pain. Even Elder Mo who looked mighty and noble had a hard time keeping his feet stable on the ground.

The only one who stood there rooted and tall all this while was the exceptionally handsome man with his cold face.

The people passing by across the street outside the inn were all shocked as they stared at this queer phenomenon where an inn swayed left and right on its own when everything around it remained still.

What ghostly thing was this?!

Whoever saw this their jaw dropped to the ground, their eyeballs almost popping out in shock. Soon a horde of people gathered around the inn to watch this strange happening. As they watched they also pointed, discussed, and debated, and soon it turned too noisy.

Xiao Tingfei and Bai Ya who were staying not far from that swaying inn also heard the clamor on the street and sent their respective servants to ask around what was happening.

The servants were quick. Soon the servants came back and brought along the report of the swaying inn.

Xiao Tingfei turned curious while Bai Ya had a look of doubt and confusion. Both dressed up and went out at once without any further delay. Their inn was not far from the swaying inn just across the street so they arrived in time to catch the inn still swaying like a drunkard.

" Are you going to hand her over or shall I destroy your city?" Wei was direct he didn't hide anymore. Previously because Jiang Ying Yue Wei had stuck to keeping low-profile acting like a useless man. But now that the person who had asked him to do this was no longer beside him and instead somewhere facing danger alone he no longer cared.

Even if he had to trample the whole city and kill hundreds of people just to threaten this person to hand over the girl to him he was willing and dared to do it. He was an emotionless beast anyway he didn't know what was fear what was guilt.

The old man found that he almost couldn't breathe due to the young man's oppression. Elder Mo, who had higher cultivation than most here had realized at one glance that this young man was capable, however, he still wasn't able to gauge his level. And only now he realized he wasn't able to do that only because this man was much stronger than him.

.....And this shocked him at the same time filled him with curiosity and interest.

How old was this man or boy?.... at most twenty. And yet he was able to achieve this level, the realm that he had only heard of before from his master.

There was no doubt this young man was exceptionally gifted.

But.....now was not the time for him to be stunned and amazed, death was knocking at the door.

' MASTER~ save your disciple!!' Elder Mo rushed to send an SOS asking for his master's aid.

This young man here didn't have a good temper.

Inside space, who was giggling with her newfound master paused midway.

" What's wrong Tangtang?" asked Jiang Ying Yue.

" Master we are in trouble," Azure explained softly how they had kidnapped Jiang Ying Yue without anyone knowing when there was a riot going on.

" What?!.....won't they go crazy if they don't see me there? What about my crying sister and maids? they'd die just from crying." cried Jiang Ying Yue, " Hurry up!...oh wait let me get dressed."

After she got up heading for the Moon spring, her intentions were clear.

" Master, won't they get suspicious?" Abhram couldn't help but interject seeing what his master was doing.

" Heh....they dare to look inside my bandages?...." Jiang Ying Yue said as she handed the boy a pair of scissors gesturing for him to cut the bandage as she knelt to scoop some water.

' Well, that made sense.' Abhram thought as he trotted beside her accepting the task.

" Master, let me do it." Azure who was watching them from the side was quick to snatch the bowl from Jiang Ying Yue when he saw Abhram was handed a pair of scissors.

Obviously, she didn't want to be left behind when it came to helping their master.

" Baby dumpling, who treated my wound?" Jiang Ying Yue finally asked this question.

Now that his master had asked Abhram had nothing to hide, " It was Wei, master. He didn't allow anyone to touch you."

This little fellow was quite meaningful, however, keen Jiang Ying Yue who was currently in a hurry didn't manage to catch instead she nodded her head in appreciation, " That's good then. It would get troublesome if others find out my real identity. "

" Hmm...yes, troublesome indeed...." It was better to have your marriage settled than to get chased by ill-intentioned people everywhere.

Abhram muttered the last sentence inside his mind, not daring to reveal the truth in front of his master. He was too cowardly.

After all, it was he who almost begged his master to keep Wei back then.

If Jiang Ying Yue got to know what his little scheme had landed her into she would definitely beat him.

Start driving?!....

Was she taking him as her chauffeur?

Abhram stared back hatefully.

" Don't look at me like that, I can see you are hiding many tricks from me. Do you even take me as your master?.... Hurry up! you can sulk later." Jiang Ying Yue waved her hand impatiently.

Abhram pitifully gave a pout and did as she ordered. They traced the same route and appeared behind their inn just in time to see the large inn swaying to and fro.

" Oh, My God!.... What sort of earthquake is this?" Jiang Ying Yue just like others was also shocked to find the inn dancing in the air alone as people screamed inside.

It was shaking so much that those people inside couldn't manage to go outside even when they attempted to crawl outside on their four limbs.
