Lumen was right, his levelling speed decreased by a large margin after he defeated the three packs of wolves that were patrolling his area.

With his current level and abilities, he had no doubt that he could defeat beasts up until level 25 quite easily, unless they were Elites that is. 

Past that point he had no real judge of the beast's power as he knew from his body enhancement quest.
