Chapter 9: Scumbag A (Peace or Chaos)

"Mom Dad do you remember when I was living in city A before, I lived alone. You know that I'm a picky eater before, that's when I learn to cook on my own while experimenting with different vegetables" Lu Xie said half-truth and half-lie

The original owner did indeed cook her own food but all the dishes she cook were either burnt, unpalatable or inedible. So she gives up and order take away food instead

"So you were not lying when you said you were learning to cook before" Mom Lu said stunned

"Yes" Lu Xie nodded

"Hahaha you really are my daughter," Dad Lu said happily

Lu Xie and Yu Shen clearly put the plates on the table when the oven made a ding sound.

"Is there still a place for dessert" Lu Xie teased

"Me I'm not full yet"

"Me too"

"I have room for dessert"

"Give us the dessert"

The four of them said all at the same time, Lu Xie giggled and put on the hand muffins opened the oven, and took out the dessert. Yu Shen opened the fridge and also took another dessert.

"Mom Dad this is an egg tart and strawberry cake, which dessert do you want" Lu Xie look at them teasingly

"Can we have both" Mom Lu said firmly

Lu Xie giggled "Okay" and put egg tart and a slice of strawberry cake on their plates and serve with tea

They all took a bite and had a smile on their faces.

"This egg tart had a crunchy outer layer but smooth and sweet inside" Mom Yu

"The strawberry cake is also sweet but not too sweet and it's soft like clouds and melts in your mouth" Dad Yu

"The tea is also fragrant and the taste is mild I like it" Dad Lu

"Overall it's really good" Mom Lu

Lu Xie smiled and also took a bite. They had a lovely evening and a satisfied belly. They are now in the living room lazing with filled bellies.

"Little Lu you can be a chef now if you open a restaurant I'm sure it will be very popular" Dad Lu nodded

"You read my mind dad but that will be a little later for now I'm focusing on my cooperation with Mr. Fu Han," Lu Xie said

Dad Lu smiled they are really both business-minded. Mom Lu shook her head helplessly looking at the father and daughter smiling at each other meaningfully.

"We better go now, it's getting late," Mom Yu said

"Mom Dad you can stay the night here" Yu Shen suggests

"We can't little Yu your father has a meeting early in the morning" Mom Yu patted her head

"Okay be careful on the way" Yu Shen pouted

"Mom Dad are you also going home" Lu Xie ask her parents

"Yes, little Lu me and your dad will go on a business trip for a while" Mom Lu kissed her daughter's forehead

"Okay, we'll walk you to the door" Lu Xie stood up with Yu Shen

They walked them to the door and waved goodbye when the two families both ride their cars and left. Lu Xie closed the door and both seat down on the sofa.

Yu Shen sat down on her lover's lap and kiss her cheeks many times, the alpha laughed at her.

"What's wrong love," Lu Xie asks softly

"Nothing, I just want to kiss you" Yu Shen kissed her cheeks again

Lu Xie just let her kiss her all over her face, while her hands are on her waist for support.

Days passed and nothing big happened, Lu Xie would always pick up Yu Shen from school. There are also times she saw the hero staring at them since the system doesn't have a favorability function.

Lu Xie doesn't know if the hero regrets the past or if he blackens, so she became extra careful. But so far nothing happened, Yu Shen was very happy these days and would act like a baby sometimes.

Shu Di also did build the mall in the Cresent area he partnered up with the Mi family. After Mi Fe and Wen Han got married they tear each other every day.

The moment Mi Fe woke up he thought that he finally marked the person he had always loved. But reality hit him hard he was with Wen Han, then suddenly the door opened and her parents saw it.

Mi Fe gritted his teeth and married Wen Han, if an alpha mark an omega you have to get married or else go to prison that's was the law. There was no mark remover yet at this time.

Even though they were forced to be married this gave the Mi family had some benefits, he was able to partner up with the Wen family and even cooperate with Shu Di. He invested a lot of money in Shu Di's project to build a mall since he knew the strength of the Shu family in the business.

In just a month, the new mall in the Cresent area was opened it became very popular within days. Since most people are always passing by, Mi Fe was very excited that he would gain a lot of money through him.

Meanwhile, Fu Han had yet another breakthrough in the drug they are researching. With the cooperation with the Lu and Gu company they had advanced equipment and now they are in the last stage of the trial.

Lu Xie opened a private restaurant in the center of the city, to get in you have to book. The restaurant became popular after its opening, but the customer is limited. She then partners with the Yu company so when she's busy the Yu company can send someone to check the place from time to time.

She also builds a dessert shop next to the restaurant which sells only a few desserts, the fruits planned in their backyard increased in quantity. Lu Xie would give some to their parents and the other would go to the restaurant and dessert shop.

The dessert shop became popular with students and younger generations, they would often return and there were regular customers.

The business partners of the Lu company once again praised Lu Xie for her outstanding talent in the business. They were all loyal to the Lu family, and some even want to order desserts directly from her which she refuse politely.

Saying that they would only bought it from her dessert shop.

Yu Shen had been busy for a while now she's doing her thesis which will be her last project before graduating so she was focusing all her energy on it.

But she was always being disturbed by Shu Di in the past few days when she was alone he would come and disturb her doing her thesis. She was irritated by him and told Lu Xie.

Lu Xie gave her two strong bodyguards that would always stay by her side, and since then she was never disturbed again by Shu Di. But she always felt someone staring at her, there she saw him always hiding in the corner staring at her.

Thankfully he never did anything yet, Lu Xie also kept telling her bodyguards to be on guard at all times. The way she shows her protectiveness is really cute.

A few months later,

The Cresent Mall suddenly sink. It was early morning when it happened and thankfully no one was hurt or injured. The large mall was swallowed by the earth like nothing.

*Ring*

Shu Di's phone kept ringing nonstop he irritatedly pick up the phone.

"What," He asks rudely he was angry that his sleep was disturbed

"M-Mr. Shu the newly build Mall sink" the secretary hurriedly said

Shu Di paused for a moment "What! What happened? Why did it sink?" he shouted

"I-I don't know Mr. Shu," the secretary said scared

"Investigate why the land sank right now" he roared angrily and hand up the phone

He stood up from his bed and change his clothes and immediately went to the Cresent area. Upon his arrival, a lot of news reporters are gathered around the place.

When the reporters saw him they immediately ran toward him. Then bombarded him with questions, his face was not good-looking, and ignore them. His secretary immediately came to him with a document in his hand.

"M-Mr. Shu the land investigator said that the land was soft when the mall was built and it didn't take the weight and sink" the secretary was stuttering

Shu Di's face darkens, when he built the mall he didn't let land investigators check it. He always thought that the land was fine so he build a large mall.

That day, the board of directors was disappointed in him, he actually didn't take precaution. He didn't consider the life of customers, he was rushing to take power when he is still learning.

Lu Xie saw the news and sneered secretly, she knew why Shu Di is rushing to take power in the Shu company so he can have the chance to talk with Yu's parents. But she made them busy and don't have time for a chat.

Mi Fe who was in a good mood after receiving his money, opened the tv to watch the news, and what he heard almost made his heart stop.

The mall he invested his money in was... Destroyed.

He immediately called Shu Di but he was not answering his phone, he became anxious and directly went to the Shu company. All the employees were running left to right, he went to the office of Shu Di.

"M-Mr. Shu what happened why did the mall sink" Mi Fe ask a little hysterical

Shu Di coldly look at him, he didn't have time to take care of him. He just now lost billions of dollars and this was the first project given by his father. And he is sure his father is disappointed.

"I don't have time to talk to you, you're wasting my time, go ask the Secretary" Shu Di roared at him

Mi Fe was shocked gritted his teeth and asked the Secretary, when he heard the report he was shocked. He invested all his money in that mall but now it's gone.

He became even more irritated and mad, he was violent with Wen Han who was pregnant with their child. Wen Han tried to retaliate but she was very weak her body was full of bruised and wounds.

Omega's bodies are weak physically that's why they are very delicate, and alpha should not beat an omega this is a serious crime created by the law. Wen Han reported Mi Fe and was put in prison, while she was sent to the hospital for recovery.

Shu Di became busy making up for the money that was lost when the mall sunk, he didn't even have time to go see Yu Shen.

Right now, Yu Shen had finally finished her thesis and was accompanying Lu Xie in the company and helping her, she has talent in business so Lu Xie would always take her in meetings and ask for other advice.

All the employees of the Lu company knew her and would be respectful, every day they would see their boss and her wife flirting making them eat bitter lemons.

Lu Xie took Yu Shen to travel around the world when she finished all her work, they were both living the life. Both parents are very happy to see the new couple having fun.

They went to city X for vacation, after they soaked in the natural hot spring Lu Xie was reading a contract. Yu Shen saw her and sat down on her lap.

"What are you reading hon," Yu Shen asks softly

"Well, how about you read it" Lu Xie handed her the contract

Yu Shen took the contract and was stunned by what she read, she immediately look at her with wide eyes. Lu Xie chuckled at her reaction.

"Y-you why are you giving me the restaurant and dessert shop," Yu Shen asks surprised

"It's my early gift for you, your graduation is around the corner so I prepared it in advance. Do you like it love" Lu Xie kissed her cheeks softly

"I-i love it hon, I really do. Thank you for hon for the love and care you kept giving me" Yu Shen cried this is the first time someone had given her something she would cherish

"It's normal, your my wife Yu Shen so, naturally, I will give only the best in this world" Lu Xie kissed her lips as if a promise

Yu Shen let her tears fall and respond to her kiss, her heart soften, and the warm feeling spread all over her heart. Her heart is now filled with her love and care, she really was lucky to be with a person like her.

She thanked the gods every day for giving her an alpha who loves, cares, and respects her sincerely. She pulls her closer and deepens the kiss, she felt the familiar heat growing from her body.

Lu Xie smelled the scent of jasmine in the air, she smiled took her omega into their room, and did their business.
