Chapter 19: World of Magic

The tailor came to the palace and was sketching the dress the princess want. Yu Seol would always check the sketch and made some changes.

She wanted to be a perfect fiance for her Axie, the tailor was flustered by the many changes to the dress and felt her hand was going to break.

"How about this princess are you satisfied," the tailor asked politely and wipe her sweats on her forehead.

Yu Seol look at it seriously and smiled happily "Yes, I'm satisfied" the tailor felt like crying now

She took the sketch and left the palace, she needs to take overtime since the birthday is in 2 days. The tailor never felt this pressure before and made the dress diligently overnight.

Yu Seol was humming happily looking outside her room, the sky was turning dark and the birds are now returning to their homes.

She thought about what her Axie is doing right now. Mini shook her head and sighed heavily.

Lu Xie who the princess was thinking about she busy cooking meat for the baby dragon. After it is cooked she cuts it into small bite pieces, the dragon happily eats the meat.

Lu Xie took out another batch of meat and cook it on the fire, the dragon was drooling looking at the meat. Lu Xie can't help but laugh a little.

"Little one your so cute"

"Hmm maybe I should name you, I can't keep calling you little one" Lu Xie was in deep thought of a suitable name for the dragon.

"I got it, your name will be Star"

The dragon happily rubbed its head on the palm of her master agreeing with the name.

"From now on your name will be Star little dragon" Lu Xie stroked its head gently

Lu Xie and Star stayed in the cave and eat some delicious roasted meat and other seafood she got from her space farm.

He looked at the mirror beside his bed and was shocked to see his face, he looked younger in his teens. He stood and walked to the mirror then pinched his cheeks hard.

His tears fall from his eyes "It's not a dream, i... Came back... Hahaha I came back" he shouted excited thankfully his room was soundproof

He looked around the place and knew that this was his room before when he was the second lieutenant. He looked at the calendar on the wall and it had been 2 days since the examination.

But he felt weird at this time won't he be in the training ground to be practicing with his mentor John. Then the door opened and his mentor came in.

"Oh, you woke up. How are you feeling? You shouldn't have pushed yourself too much, look what happened you were in a coma for 2 days" John said and sat on the stool

Zu Gan frowned "What happened? Why did I get into a coma?" he asked

Van came back to the training ground with his master's horse, he was waiting at the door when it opened. He bowed "Welcome back master" he greeted then looked at him

He was stunned that his master was covered in blood and a small d....dragon was flying circling around him.

Lu Xie saw her right arm and didn't mind his stunned look "Let's go back" she said then the horse ran.

Van follows still looking at the dragons flying beside his master, he heard legends about the Lu family. The first Lu family head was a dragon master he had the power to control the dragon

All generations from the Lu family were sent to the training ground to survive, it is said that the first Lu family head created the training ground to prove their worth to the dragons.

One must know that the power of a dragon can annihilate a whole kingdom in just a day, looking at the small dragon it won't be long it will grow stronger.

Lu Xie arrived home, the small dragon landed on her hand and curled up to sleep. The maids who greet the Duke were looking at the small dragon in their master's hands.

"Prepare a bath for the master" Lu Xie's butler said to the maid beside him

The maid immediately nodded then left, "Welcome back master" the butler bowed lightly

Lu Xie nodded and enter the mansion she went to her room and warm water was already prepared. She took off all her clothes and put them in a laundry basket, then stepped onto the large bath.

Star also went to the bath and was swimming around the large bath. Lu Xie relax her body and let the warm water cover her body.

After a few minutes, she and star patted their bodies dry then went to the bed and rested. Lu Xie was exhausted last night, star slept beside her master.

The news about the little dragon were not leak out, The people I'm the territory also agree and wait for it to grow before it will be announced to the world.

All the people from the palace were busy arranging the whole place cleaning, decorating, and setting up the ballroom.

Some guests from other countries also arrived in advance so they won't be late for the birthday of the king. The people from the Hu country arrived first followed by the Lan, Iny, and Duan countries.

They were given a place to rest and wait for tomorrow for the event.

Yu Seol and her maid snuck out of the palace and went to the town, she wanted to pick some gifts for her fiance personally. She put on a hood and Mini changed her clothes to blend in.

"Mini let's go to the shop hurry" Yu Seol argued her

"Okay, okay princess calm down" Mini felt she was going dizzy

Yu Seol and Mini went to the popular shop in town, the building was huge and the inside was filled with different kinds of things like clothes, shoes, etc.

She looked around and went to the diamond place, "Mini do you think he'll like this" she asked showing a dark blue diamond

" Cough... Princess, I almost forgot to tell you that this shop belongs to the Lu" Mini said

Yu Seol widen her eyes, she forgot the Lu family is richer than the royal family. They owned a large mine of diamonds, gold, and even a big ocean of precious pearls.

She felt dejected, her soon to be fiance had been given precious things since he was a child so how can a diamond like this be compared to it. For the first time, she felt lost.

Mini saw the lost expression of the princess, then an idea came to mind "Princess, how about you design the Duke a handkerchief, it's popular today for the noble ladies" Mini calmly suggest.

Yu Seol's eyes brighten when she heard it "Then let's go find some materials to make the handkerchief I only have a day to finish it, hurry" she urged her

Mini followed behind her and went to the tailor's shop she bought a small plain square handkerchief, some needles, and some thread of different colors.

As they were about to leave, Yu Seol bumped into someone. Her feet lost balance as she was about to fall, a hand wrapped around her waist.

Her hands unconsciously wrapped around the person's neck, the hand gently holding her.

"Miss, are you okay," a voice said

Yu Seol was stunned when she heard the person's voice, it was the voice she memorize inside her mind and heart a million times in the past 2 days.

"i...I'm fine" Yu Seol said in a low voice her hands around her person tighten, she didn't plan to let go

**Earlier***

Lu Xie planned to go to town to look for some beddings for Star, but the dragon was left in her room asleep. Only her butler was waiting for the dragon to wake up and let it know that she left for a while.

She walked and saw the people all had smiles on their faces, the stalls are full of food that made her stomach growl.

As she was about to enter the tailor shop, a person bumped into her and saw that she was about to fall her hand unconsciously reaching out. Hugged the person and pull her close to her.

The person had her hands around her neck she was about to let go when she smell a familiar scent of jasmine on her. She knew this scent was the same scent she smell when she was with the princess.

So she wanted to make sure.

"Miss, are you okay," she asked a bit cold

Her hands around her neck tightened

"I...I'm fine" the woman said the moment she heard her voice sure enough it was the princess

Lu Xie hugged her gently and said in her ear teasingly "Princess, won't you let go" she said seductively

Yu Seol was shocked by her magnetic and seductive voice, her hot breath tingled in her ear, and felt her legs go weak. She never thought that a cold duke like Lu Xie is also capable of playing hooligan.

Her complexion flustered together with her neck and ear was red, she bowed her head in embarrassment. She should be angry and scolded him but the words were stuck in her throat.

She can't seem to be angry at him but instead she.....like it.

Seeing that she didn't let go, Lu Xie gently picked her up in a princess style since she is a legit princess in this world. Mini was shocked by an unknown person who dared to hug the princess.

She stepped forward to stop the person but was stopped by Yu Seol, she said softly "It's okay, it's Duke Lu Xie"

Mini was stunned she almost offended the person the world is afraid of. Seeing the princess being carried she followed behind while holding their purchase together with Van the right arm of the Duke.

Lu Xie walked toward one of the cafe businesses by the Lu family, the cafe was luxurious and the servants were all dressed well. When she stepped inside she was not stopped by anyone.

People in the shop recognize Van behind and knew that the person in front of them is the Duke so they let him enter at will.

Lu Xie went to the second floor which is her private place, she gently put the princess on the soft chair. A waiter immediately came and ask politely "Good afternoon Duke Lu Xie, what would you like today"

"Give us the new dessert and prepare the usual lunch make it for us two," Lu Xie said coldly

The waiter nodded and left. Van and Mini were in the living room sitting and having some tea. Though it was awkward both didn't speak and just mind their own business.

Yu Seol saw the person who made her heart run wild, the moment she took off her hood. The beautiful night sky eyes looked at her a little tender, she put the hood on the rack.

And sat down opposite her she also removed her hood, and place it on the rack behind her.

"May I ask what the princess is doing in town today?" Lu Xie decided to ask first

"W..well.. father's birthday is tomorrow, so I want to get something for him personally" and make something for you she didn't tell the latter.

"I see, did the princess find something his majesty might like?"

"Y..yes. It's already prepared" Yu Seol was stuttering, Lu Xie didn't ask more and felt that the princess was uncomfortable

Lu Xie was stunned slightly and recalled since the original owner was young she doesn't receive any gifts from her family. She didn't even have her birthday celebrated and was forced to train every single day.

Her mother would sometimes give her some chocolate since her father said that it was useless to celebrate birthdays and only hinder training so he banned birthday celebrations.

As she grew up she didn't receive a single gift from anyone.

Lu Xie looked at Yu Seol calmly "I never received a gift" she said calmly

Yu Seol who heard it was stunned, she looked at her who was drinking water calmly. But her heart felt pain, 'She never received a gift' that word repeated on her mind

She didn't know why won't he receive gifts then she remembered what her brothers said when they were young and went to the Lu family house before for training.

They said that Lu Xie was put into a cage with a ferocious beast before and his father just watched as if it was a play in the opera. Lu Xie was badly wounded at that time and almost lost his life.

He was able to defeat it and was sent to the doctor. His father was ruthless and after watching he turned around and then left. He wasn't even worried about his son and the worst part is Lu Xie was only 12 years old at the time.

Lu Xie got into a coma for a week, the two brothers asked the butler if this happened frequently. The butler nodded and also said about the rules that we're banned by the Duke.

The two brothers were dumbfounded, to produce powerful and impenetrable shield for the empire was through harsh training.

Yu Seol felt like crying the person she liked suffered a lot when she was a child, thinking about the harsh training her brothers told her. Her heart ached, even more, how can a father be so ruthless to his own flesh and blood.

Lu Xie noticed her red eyes and immediately stood up making a loud sound, the two people who were having tea watched as the Duke kneel on one knee and wipe the tears on the princess's face.

"Ayu what's wrong? why are you crying?" Lu Xie asked a little distressed and gently wiped her years with her thumb

She didn't speak and hugged her tightly 'This time ill give you both my love and gifts for the rest of your life' she swore in her heart.

Lu Xie didn't know why she was crying and softly patted her back and coax her softly "There, there don't cry. Tears are ruining your beautiful face"

Yu Seol blushed and stopped crying, she saw the smile of the person in front of her. The smile was dazzling and very beautiful. Her face had a smile on them and her eyes turned cresent.

'Your more handsome when you smile' she said in her thoughts.
