Chapter 118: My Mutant Queen

After changing her clothes she threw the cloth away, then continued to head up still holding the pipe in her hand.

When she reached the top floor she crawled again under all the things that were blocking the way. Then head toward the room, where she saw Lilith looking at her.

Lu Xie smiled and put the bag and pipe aside "I'm back" she said softly

Lilith hurriedly bit the hem of her clothes then pull her and kept sniffing her. She was so worried when she smell blood about a few meters away from her.

Lu Xie was confused by what she is doing so she let her and patted her head "I'm okay Lilith I was just in a hurry I didn't notice my clothes got blood on them" she explained

Lilith looked at her and licked her face, Lu Xie giggled "Hahahaha...yaaah...hahaha it tickles" she said laughing

"Okay stop I'll make us some lunch" Lu Xie stroked her fur and then stood up

Lilith watches her as she can't move her foreleg and was lying here for a long time but the wound didn't heal until Lu Xie came and bandage her foreleg.

After cooking, they ate their fill, and then Lu Xie took out the medicine she got so she can apply it to Lilith's wound.

"Lilith I'll put some medicine on your foreleg okay, it might hurt so bear with me okay," Lu Xie said softly as she untie the bandage she put on yesterday

Lilith nodded as understanding.

Lu Xie disinfects the wound while also blowing on it softly to ease the pain if she ever felt pain. Then put some anti-biotics on the wound before wrapping it in a clean bandage.

Lu Xie was very gentle when she disinfect the wound.

"There you go," She said softly

Lilith tried to move her foreleg and tried to stand up, Lu Xie was beside her she had her hands around her stomach and was holding her but her face was red.

Lilith licked her face she was so cute, then rub her head against her as a thank you.

Lu Xie grinned happily showing her dimples.

Lilith then tried to walk still with Lu Xie by her side she moved slowly but limply, so far she was able to take 10 steps before she couldn't take it anymore.

Lu Xie help her to her usual spot "Good job" she praised

Lilith rubs her head against her neck and rests her head on her shoulder as if hiding.

"So cute" Lu Xie hugged her neck

They both spend the day together doing nothing but lazing around or Lu Xie would chatter nonstop. When the sun was setting Lu Xie cooked their dinner.

After eating they both slept together cuddling.

Everything was going well the past few days but then one night when they were sleeping they both heard shouting downstairs.

They both woke up, Lu Xie immediately stood up and ran to see down the spiral stairs she saw a group of people running up the stairs while shooting their power at the zombies.

Lu Xie tick her tongue and went back to the room, Lilith already got up and rubbed her head against her when she saw her.

"Lilith, let's go power users are coming up the stairs, let's go to the other building," Lu Xie said hurriedly and took the bags and their things

Lilith wanted to help but was stopped

"It's okay I can carry it lets go hurry!!!" Lu Xie said softly

Lilith nodded, they both got out of the room, and the shouting was getting closer so they immediately jogged toward the next building.

Lu Xie made Lilith go first and she immediately put up barricades on the way so the people won't get through.

She then runs toward Lilith whose waiting for her, Lu Xie runs toward a room where she wakes up. Lilith bit the hem of her clothes.

"We're okay here for now," Lu Xie smiled but she knew they need to leave and find somewhere safer

She couldn't risk herself and Lilith since she is weak with a body of a child and Lilith is also injured.

"Lilith, tomorrow let's leave this place is not safe anymore," Lu Xie said softly

Lilith understand and nodded as she rub her head against her neck, it seems that she made it a habit she would often rub her head against Lu Xie's neck and rest on it for a while.

Lu Xie stroked her fur gently then whispered "Lets sleep I'm sure those people won't come here anytime soon tonight"

Lilith wrapped her tail around her waist and pulled her closer to her then both fell asleep.

As early as the bird woke up, Lu Xie prepared their last meal in this place and also the things they needed, she store all of them in her ring space she got tired of carrying them around.

Lilith woke up from the smell of food, she saw the back of Lu Xie while she cut some pieces of meat and vegetables and then put them on her plate.

She made a sound that made Lu Xie look at her with a smile.

"Your awake, here eat up, and let's leave after" Lu Xie said softly

Lilith obediently ate the food, it tasted so good she couldn't stop eating.

After they both ate, Lilith was looking around for their stuff. Then look at Lu Xie

"I found a space ring when I went out before" Lu Xie explained as she smile

Lilith nodded she believed it.

Lu Xie sighed in relief inwardly "Let's go Lilith" she said softly

Lilith bit the hem of her clothes behind her neck and then threw her on her back. Lu Xie was shocked and held her fur as she sat on her back.

Lilith then starts to run out of the room, and down the building. When they got out of the building there were zombies shattered around the place.

The zombies heard the noise and started to walk toward them some started running.

"Lilith run!!!" Lu Xie said a little loud

Lilith then turned around and run the opposite side, her speed was very fast much faster than a sports car.

Lu Xie was stunned and held tightly to her fur, but she also enjoyed it.

"Hahaha waaahhh this is so fun" she cheered as she raised both her hands in the air

Lilith runs for a few minutes and stops by a large mall. Lu Xie went down her back and stroked her head softly.

"Let's go look for anything we can use" Lu Xie walked first then took out the pipe from her space ring
