Return

After the scolding session was over, Emily took Stacy to her room and helped her with her homework while Lucas and Shawn retreated into their rooms, and there they did what they always did every day.

For Lucas, he would go to his room and start scrolling through his device. Unlike his elder brother who decided it was better to just complete his homework before doing anything else.

Shawn wasn't bothered about the fact that his phone was taken away because he still had a PC given to him by his dad after he brought a good result home. So he just turned on the PC once he was done with his task.

He was about to connect to the WiFi and play some online games. When a loud knock resounded from the door, startling him, "Shawn dinner's ready!" Emily's voice echoed through the walls.

"Alright, Mum, I'll be down there in just a minute," He answered.

After a few minutes of deciding, he opened the door and headed downstairs before going straight into the dining room.

When he got there, he found the whole family waiting. His dad, Nick, had just arrived from work and joined the family who prayed before they all began eating dinner.

In the middle of dinner, Emily suddenly threw a question out, "So can somebody tell me how school was today?"

"Fine for me," Lucas replied.

"It was good mama," said Stacy.

Nick glanced at his son and proceeded to ask, "Shawn how was school today?"

Shawn raised his head from the plate, "It was fine, Dad,"

Nick smiled and proved even further, "Come on. Gist your old man about it"

Shawn proceeded to explain how the math teacher gave the students extra homework to do and the grim look on the faces of those who didn't do the earlier one but also excluded the Richard Dawson incident.

Mr Roberts was a new teacher who had just arrived at Shawn's school some weeks back and didn't slack off in giving them homework to do.

"Well, that should make them even more focused and not slack off," Nick opined.

"They could always ignore the homework though," said Lucas.

"If they did, he just has to go and inform the principal, who in turn will inform the parents not to complain," Shawn made a gentle retort.

"No wonder their faces looked grim when I saw them coming from the staff room," said Lucas.

"Maybe they need to be monitored well, including home," said Emily.

The family changed to other topics after that. One of such included Nick's continued growing business of fashion and designing and after the family dinner was over, everyone proceeded to their consecutive resting areas.

In his room, Shawn, after playing video games and reading a bit, fell asleep afterward, only to hear a notification that alerted him.

*Installing Creator Shawn back into the world of Ornio*

Shawn opened his eyes and was surprised to see himself in the same empty black room that he was in before.

"The hell! Why am I here again?" He roared before looking at the blank screen in front of him, "Didn't you tell me that I was dead?"

*I did not give you a reply to that question. You concluded that you were dead.*

Simon growled out of annoyance knowing he couldn't refute, "Why?"

*Creator Shawn has yet to complete the making of his second race.*

He crossed his arms in turn, "Yeah. That was where I stopped last before I was rudely kicked out."

*Apologies for that*

"Whatever. Now, back to finishing my race." Shawn shrugged it off. Afterward, he at least knew that he wasn't going to be here forever. A tab appeared before him showing him the incomplete drawing of the new race he intended to make.

He continued that, and when he was done, he began to describe, "They have red to gray skin and blue eyes. Thick, bulging muscles, hair which is packed or low and in the range of black to red."

"Meet the Harans. Users of physical energy can control the power of flames from a select few who are mages and shamans. They have the innate qualities of being tough, strong, and domineering.

Also, they follow the law of the strongest, unlike the Goldorn, who followed the law of respect and bravery.'

The Harans were 0.5 to 1.0 meters taller than the goldorn's. An adult Haran was quite strong enough to throw and carry a medium-sized rock from a distance.

After placing them into the world, Shawn checked the requirements, seeing that they still had 1 more race to add. He had already used up all of his free creation races slot so it only meant that he had to get a free race from a quest. Currently, the number of quests he has completed so far is 4. He had earned 5,850 CP and needed 6,150 to complete the 12,000 points quest.

He looked at the available quests remaining.

1. Earn 12,000 points.

2. Have up to five races in your World.

3. Have an Overseer for your race or world.

4. Complete Six Quests.

5. Create a Realm - C

C means completed.

"It seems I would have to watch the world and do something for it or pick someone. The Soul Hunters of the jury realm will still take a long time to make a leader emerge so the objective of making an overseer will take longer than expected." Shawn thought before shaking his head, "Wait, I am a creator. What if I can make a race to evolve from the animals and beasts or make my first overseer after watching them being trained enough?"

"Yep, I'm going to do that." He concluded. "I should also fast-forward the time for the races to frow before I pick an overseer."

"System can I forward the time?"

*Yes, But depending on how long you want to fast forward the time for it will cost you. A year for 5 CP.*

"So if I wish to forward the time for 200 years I take 1000 out of my points"

*Yes.*

"My current points are 2,750, so I'll see what to do after 200 years. Alright forward time by 200 years,"

*Processing.....Deducting CP. Forwarding time.*

The Screen that showed an overview of Shawn's world began to show the fast-forward effects with a continuous spin and fast clouds moving.

After a few seconds had passed, it stopped.

*Fast forward complete. Do you want to view the events that occurred?*

"Yes," Shawn answered, and the panel closed; a new one emerged, showing the events that happened over the past 200 years.

Well, nothing happened to the Goldorns who had a lifespan of 180 years, the Humans, which had 100 years, the Elves, who had 200- 250 years, and the Harans, who had 120 years, except that it brought the five factions of the Jury realm in competition for guiding and bringing souls judgment.

So there was nothing really impressive about them except for the beasts and animals' evolution, which was what Shawn had been waiting to see.

In the southeastern great plains of the northern continent, an animal with a tail walked distance and headed to a river in its vicinity. This river also happened to be one of the many rivers that flowed from the ocean into the mainland in the Eastern Great Plains.

What was impressive about this animal was its silvery white skin, which was not supposed to be in areas like here except the tundra of the southern continent. The eyes of this animal were blue, and the four limbs were all bent as the animal made its way to drink.

Unknown to it, there was a green snake that happened to be around, slithering for prey. The Snake slowly made its way to the animal and bared its fangs widely before it struck with a lounge.

The animal, as if by reflex, jumped away from its spot cleanly avoiding being bitten. The Snake hissed in irritation as it just missed its target. The animal growled at the snake and showed its white canine teeth before jumping onto it, showing its intention to land a clean strike, which was kind of a stupid move.

The snake hissed and avoided the attack before it struck the wolf. The Wolf, seeing this, raised its sharp paw and slapped at the snake with its claws, hitting and pushing it back in the process. The Serpent shook its head and bared its fangs at the wolf before spraying out the poison from its mouth.

The wolf closed its eyes, the skin of which was hit by the sprayed poison. It was lucky, but the poison stung its skin, causing it to release a yelp. The Snake, looking victorious and happy at the wolf's misery, proceeded to finish the job with another lounge.

Unfortunately, it couldn't be more wrong. As it jumped, the wolf as if sensing the attack, opened its mouth, releasing a powerful howl.

The howl was more of a sonic boom, pushing the snake away from its position and down to the ground in a toppled-down stance.

The wolf stood still with its eyes shut and proceeded to jump at the snake, and with precise movement, its claws proceeded to pierce through the snake's skin, cutting it up.

The snake, as if suffocating tried to pull itself away from the position because of the pain it received but it was just too late.
