Chapter 68: Mermaid

Shin who just returned from the sea after he had his heat, vented his heat to another mermaid but didn't mark her. He only wants to mark Lyra.

Little did he know that the person he wants to own his whole was marked by his past lover. (A/N: Serves him right hehe hehe hehe)

Shin would always wait for her the go out of the house with Atria and follow them but he didn't dare get close since there are bodyguards around them.

He watched them from afar and every time he sees her smile and laugh he would feel a bit of pain in his heart. The smile and laugh that were directed at him in the past were taken by his past lover.

There are times he wanted to talk to her and restore their relationship but he left without saying goodbye. He didn't think about her feelings after leaving.

He regretted it, then he heard the door open. He saw Atria driving the car and Lyra was in the passenger seat, smiling ear to ear.

Shin tried to run after them but his legs are not used to running with human legs so he could only stop a taxi and followed them.

Atria was driving when Thana speak in her mind, she glanced at her side mirror and saw a taxi behind them.

'Tsk.... This man is stubborn ' she sneered inwardly

"Baby, when will you return to Korea," Atria asks softly

"Maybe in 3 weeks... Why baby?" Lyra asks confused

"Well, I want to learn how to work so I can buy you some presents" Atria shyly scratches her head that was not itchy

Lyra laughed and her heart was moved, how can she be so lucky to find a person like her. She kissed her lover on her cheeks lovingly.

"You don't need to baby I can support us" Lyra caress her cheeks

"But I want to use my own money and take you to play abroad. I read on the internet that if you want a happy wife spoil her" Atria said seriously

Lyra's heart melted and blushed, she giggled. 'Wife that's a good title' she thought. She holds her hand

"Okay, how about we go there tomorrow and I will teach you" Lyra looked at her lover's side view

"Really," Atria said excitedly

"Yes baby" Lyra chuckled

"Thank you baby" Atria kissed the back of her hand and put it on her chest

Lyra felt the beating of her heart and can't help but tear up, she loves her so much.

Shin who was behind can't see what they were doing and if he did he would instantly cough blood, the two-person he used to love got together.

Atria and Lyra went to get presents to give to her future in-laws.

The next day, they left the house early on the flight from there the place to Korea was 5 hours away. They boarded a private plane owned by Lyra.

The plane took off Atria was sitting near the window when she look outside she was amazed by the view from above.

"Baby, look I can see the whole city," She said excited pointing at the view

"Yes baby, I can see it too" Lyra saw the twinkling in her eyes

"Waaahhh, the sea is so big" Atria saw the wide and open blue sea

"I forgot to ask baby, won't you miss your family while we're away" Lyra was curious since she don't know if it's good to take her away from her family without them knowing

"I... it's fine...m..my...parents..are..g..gone" Atria bowed her as she said it in a low voice

Lyra was stunned and saw her lover lowering her head, she immediately hugged her in her embrace.

"I...I'm sorry baby" Lyra apologize stupid that's why she never mentioned her family because there went stupid Lyra

"It's fine baby don't apologize" Atria kissed her forehead though her eyes are slightly red

"Baby..." Lyra was distress

"My parents passed when a huge hurricane started under the sea, our house was destroyed and we escaped but my parents were badly wounded...." Atria paused for a while

"Baby don't say it if you're not ready" Lyra wiped the tears threatening to fall

"It's the okay baby I want to tell you" Atria then hold the hand wiping her tears

"The hurricane was strong it sucked everything on its path, my parents swim faster so they had to push me away and I separated from them. I saw that my parents got sucked inside the hurricane and saw...blood" Atria sobbed

Lyra kept silent and just comfort her lover. She cried and hugged her lover tightly.

After a few minutes, Atria stopped crying and still hugged her lover. Slowly she closed her sore eyes, Lyra push a button on the chair and the back seat became straight like a bed.

Lyra laid down with her and put herself in a comfortable position before also closing her eyes.

Meanwhile, Shin who followed them around yesterday for the whole day didn't have any money on him and the taxi driver drove him to the police station.

Where he stayed for 3 days, the police noticed that no one was looking for him so they let him go and warn him. Shin then run to Lyra's house and notice that there was no bodyguard.

He became excited and enter the house, he slowly turns the doorknob but it was close, so he walked toward the pool, and also it was close.

He felt something wrong and then try to recall his memories, that's when he noticed that if the pool was covered it means that she....left.

"Damn it" He shouted

He had no money and he don't know how to make money since he was a bastard in his previous life and didn't work when Lyra told him to learn. He indulges himself in pleasure and spends her money like water.

[Host the hero is in the house]

The plane landed safely when thana speak on my mind, then a CCTV panel appeared in front of me.

'Heehhh...serves him right' Atria sneered

"Baby, be careful" Atria held Lyra's hand as they walked down the stairs on the plane

Lyra felt honey pouring into her heart, she firmly holds her hand. When her feet step on the ground she kissed her lover's cheeks.

"Thank you, baby," she said softly

Atria smiled and lead her to the car, and the driver drove them to Lyra's parents' house.
