Chapter 50: Entertainment

Mulin who just visited the jail went home with a smile on her face. Upon opening the door, she walked into the living and saw her parents.

"Da~~~"

*Slap*

A loud slap sounded in the living room. Mulin was stunned and her mind went blank.

"Y....you..." Minlo clenched his fist hard

*earlier*

Minlo was signing documents in his office went he received a message.

Investigator: Sir, I finished investigating your daughter

Minlo: Send me the files

*Ding*

Minlo read the report and was both angry and shocked, how can his daughter be like this.

In the report, Mulin meets with foreign businessmen and asks them to sponsor her and also give her resources. Mulin meet with them and they stayed in a hotel.

There were pictures of different men down the report.

According to the investigation, Mulin will leave the hotel early morning with a tired expression and she can't walk properly.

One of the staff saw that Mulin would enter a room with different men each time.

Mulin also wants to have the power to help Ahren when his in trouble. So that she can marry him.

Minlo was very angry and wanted to kill someone, he had a good impression of Ahren and his daughter also liked him so he let it be.

But now, just to be able to marry him, his daughter did something that will anger him to the point of him thinking of disowning her.

Minlo can't accept this, his face was black, and the humiliating emotion in his heart deepen. He felt humiliated he always believed in marriage before sex.

Minlo: I want you to make sure Ahren won't be released from prison and pay some guys to beat him but don't kill him when he's in jail

???: hahahaha I thought that he was your son in law

Minlo hung up the phone, and send him money to that person's account.

Minlo rested his back on his chair and close his eyes.

In jail, Ahren's case was still pending, and had his special secretary take him not to go to prison.

"WHAT... WHAT HELL HAPPENED" Ahren shouted

"Someone had a witness saying that he saw you dealing with mafias and also there's a photo as proof. They took an appraisal and it's real" Jian held the document and push it toward him

Ahren immediately took the document and saw the contents he almost threw a fit.

In the document conversation, recordings, and deals that we're made was in the document. The appraisal proof was in the back.

"GO FIND THIS WITNESS AND THREATEN HIM" Ahren gash his teeth hardly

"The witness was under the protection of 5 elite police" Jian squinch his eyes

Strangely, there was no witness when he investigated and the place was very secluded from the outside world and was protected by their partners.

So how can there be a witness, if one did see it the gangsters would capture them and immediately off with their heads.

"DAMN, call Mr. Minlo and ask if he can help me" Ahren was already going crazy

"I did call but the secretary answered and said that Mr. Minlo won't help you" Jian open his phone and show the recording and call history

"FUCK IT ALL" Ahren screeched

Back to Mulin, she sat down on the sofa opposite his parents, the look on their faces was disbelief and disgust.

"Do you know what you did" Minlo ask expressionlessly

"D..dad..i" Mulin stuttered she didn't know what to say.

----Did father knew what I was doing

----No, if he knew he would not let me in

----You're going to be disowned by them( voice in her head)

----No they won't, I'm their only child( Mulin retorted)

----Keep dreaming (the voice laughed maliciously)

"Mulin I have raised you to be an upright person but what did you do" Minlo saw his daughter in a daze making him angrier

"D..dad..i..I'm...sorry" Mulin bowed her head not daring to look in her father's eyes.

She saw her father angry at her before so she was scared and nervous.

"Sorry hmph... Do you think sorry can clean the humiliation that I felt? If the people knew what will they say" Minlo said coldly.

Minlo also cares about his reputation and his company.

Mulin was trembling, she was scared and she didn't expect that her father would find put. She made sure to be to do it hidden.

Mulin bit her lower lip.

"Dad I did it because I like Ahren, you know I have liked him since I was young. I love him more than myself" Mulin cried

*Slap*

Another slap landed on her cheek, her cheeks are swollen and red.

"Starting today I Minlo is disowned you. Don't come back to this house again, all your credit cards, house, and cars will all be confiscated" Minlo stood up with his wife and left the house

Mulin cried, her father disown her and she doesn't have anywhere to go. Mulin stood up and walk to the police station.

That night was cold and windy, Mulin was wearing thin clothes.

Meanwhile, Shea and Priya went out to hang out before Priya leave. Shea was so joyous the past 2 days, right now they were in the airport.

"Keep your promise to me Priya" Shea reminded her again since yesterday she kept saying these lines.

Priya was helpless and kept nodding and saying yes

"I will keep my promise, " Priya hugged her and then let go

Priya walked toward her flight, Shea watch her back disappear her tears finally can't help but fall down her cheeks.

"Shea don't cry she will return soon" Sister Pin comforted

"Let's go sister, we still have work to do" Shea wiped her tears and left the airport.

She sat down on the chair and look outside.

"Mulin's father already did it, the moment Mulin started meeting foreign businessmen I had emailed him and put some ambiguous pictures"

"Minlo is a traditional man, he believes in marriage before sex. What would he do when he knows that his daughter ruined his belief"

"Mulin is miserable now, she is blinded by love and did something that ruined her life. Also, that system with her what kind of system is it"
