Voidwalker's flow

Dawn and Nios were standing in front of a huge building guarded by two guards, covered in full body armour, both of them were at the peak of the body refining realm.

The guards bowed toward Captain Nios as a sign of respect, allowing them to pass without bothering, Dawn could feel the oppressive aura coming toward him from the guards, the aura wanted to crush him, make him submit, but Dawn wasn't going to bow down to anyone if they weren't eternal who could endlessly, according to Dawn no one deserves his respect if they will die one day, the mortals and cultivators were same in his eyes in that regard.

The guards weren't purposefully targeting Dawn, nor were they hostile towards him, they weren't just used to restraining their aura as Captain Nios and others.

After walking past the guards they were in front of a box-like structure covered in metal, with all sorts of light blinking on it.

"This box is the terminal that will connect you to the Imperial Library of the River Empire. Wait for a minute, let me just use my authority. I will give you access for 30 minutes''.

Dawn nodded toward the captain and instructed his AI chip to connect with the terminal, The AI chip was able to instantly connect with it without any issue as he already had the necessary clearance.

He heard a prompt from an AI chip that over 10,000+ techniques were detected.

Dawn was surprised, he was only given access to the body refining realm techniques but they numbered above 10k he didn't know how many techniques it had in total of all the realms combined.

30 min wasn't enough to go through all of them one by one, he ordered the AI chip to filter the techniques and only showed him cultivation techniques of dark attributes, so the AI chip filtered the list accordingly.

Even after the filter, there were more than 20 techniques, he went through all of them one by one and was able to find 5 interesting ones that piqued his interest.

First was Voidwalker's flow, second was Celestial Dark Flow, and third was Dark Phoenix Flame.

The other two weren't as good as these three 

Dawn chose Voidwalker's Flow out of the three, as its name sounded cooler than the other two, after all, cultivation techniques weren't that useful to him anyway.

After choosing a cultivation technique at random he carefully chose one movement technique and one combat technique.

The movement technique name was quite bizarre," Astral Serpent Dance", Dawn wondered what kind of serpent was that, who came up with such a name he thought curiously.

The combat technique was even more arrogant and domineering, Starfall Palm the senior who created this technique had the ambition of crushing the star with his palm.

Dawn pondered, the techniques of the Starfall palm carried a strong desire to make a lasting impact on the world. 

When Dawn was done choosing his techniques 20 minutes had passed, He Informed the captain that he was done choosing.

The captain nodded and didn't enquire which techniques Dawn chose after you couldn't interfere in someone else's path, everyone had one walk their path on their own.

They both walked out of the building, Dawn bade farewell to the captain and walked back to his room. He wanted to learn these techniques as quickly as possible.

Inside his room Dawn was sitting in a meditative position, Closing his eyes he tried to feel the mana flowing through his veins slowly replacing his blood.

With every passing second his body was getting more attuned to mana, the mana was slowly nourishing his body from the inside. Dawn could only feel the mana but couldn't look inside his body, he would only be able to do that once he learnt a cultivation technique.

Clearing his mind of all the useless thoughts, he commanded the Ai chip to display the content of Void Walker's Flow to him, the description of the techniques appeared in his mind, "merging emptiness and motion, transcending boundaries…..".

Dawn didn't understand a single word, it seemed like he wasn't as smart as he initially thought. Suddenly the white pillar in his pillar in his sea of consciousness glowed in white light and he heard the voice of his talent.

Void Walker's Flow learned level 1, and the notification surprised Dawn quite a bit," It was even capable of doing this", Dawn wondered.

He wanted the skill section to appear in front of him and a window appeared in front of him displaying the skills that he had learned.

Skills- concealment level 1 (unique), Void Walker's Flow level 1 (mortal).

A new skill had appeared in his skill column.

Dawn tried to cultivate according to the Voidwalker's Flow, he could feel mana flowing through his veins increasing in speed, before it took around 30 seconds for his mana to circulate once, after using the technique it was done in 15 seconds.

His mana was more in synchronisation with his body now, flowing more fluidly without encountering any resistance. At the rank 5 Body Refining his 50 percent blood has been replaced with mana. As he will increase his cultivation the percentage will also increase.

Dawn closed his eyes and enjoyed the feeling of cultivating naturally even though he didn't need to, as his second talent would take care of it.

Four hours passed in a flash, and then only Dawn opened his eyes. Dawn let out a breath of the turbid air, he could feel his cultivation increase every hour, slowly inching upwards, watching your efforts get rewarded in real time was intoxicating.

Dawn got up and stretched his body and headed towards the Gym. He planned on learning Starfall Palm and Astral Serpent Dance today itself.

Dawn planned to learn both techniques simultaneously, he wanted to see if he could sync them together.

First, he remembered the content of Starfall Palm and then Astral Serpent Dance, he heard the notification signifying that he had learned both of them, but his learning speed was terrifying because of the system.

Dawn found an empty hall booked it for 4 hours and went inside. Readying himself Dawn tried to perform the movement technique, he followed the instructions of the manual and tried to visualise the astral current weaving around him, forming a connection with his body, Dawn started moving slowly, and gradually he pumped the mana into the technique causing his speed to increase.

Dawn disappeared from his original position to appear 150m away, while performing the technique, Dawn felt a profound sense of unity with his surroundings as he became part of it appearing wherever he wants 

He practised for an hour with beads of sweat appearing on his forehead, using his mana wantonly without care about the consumption, he had enough mana to last him for hours.

Dawn stopped practising his movement technique and began practising his combat technique, Dawn stood straight and relaxed his body, he lifted his hand and moved it in a smooth, controlled motion like a falling star.

He guided his dark attribute mana through his hand and a palm imprint appeared in the around.

Dawn practised in all sorts of ways trying everything he could, but Dawn wasn't satisfied with this technique although the power was good. The technique wasn't able to utilise his huge mana reserve properly.

He couldn't understand after all people didn't have such a huge reserve.

Now that Dawn was somewhat proficient in performing both of his techniques he wanted to check their power and effectiveness.

Dawn was stumped as no cadet was his match he was already a rank 5 while the others were at rank 1.

He decided to consult the captain about his problem, and he sent his voice to the captain," Good evening! Captain, I have a question, I hope you can help me.

Captain Nios's voice came back," What's the problem", Nios asked bluntly.

"I want to improve my technique and gain some combat experience, but I don't know how", Dawn told him about his problem.

'Yeah, that's understandable. Come to the location that I have just sent you, there you will find the solution to your problems", Nios ended the transmission.
