As soon his eyes landed on the runes, Dawn felt a mysterious poet envelop him, his mind became clearer, he started to remember all of the blurry memories of his childhood that he had long forgotten.

"Damn! Why am I remembering all these memories," Dawn muttered in a low voice, but in reality, he didn't mind the bad memories.

As it was these memories that made him what he was today, everything today about him was because of his memories whether they were good or bad.

Dawn finally managed to take a look at the runes, his mouth curled up in a small smile.

Dawn looked at the reward with his jaws hitting the floor, he couldn't believe that sight in front of him.

Evolution! And that too of his already overpowered talent.

Dawn's hands shivered from sheer excitement, he wanted to see what would change after evolution.

When he used to play his favorite part was always the evolution part, how a character changes after level up.

If someone were to look at him they would definitely run away in fright, a youth with a gleeful smile on his face muttering something inherently with a dazed look in his eyes while being surrounded by the mangled and rotten corpse of the Zombies.

Truly a frightening sight for the fainthearted.

After daydreaming for a while Dawn shook his head and a serious expression appeared on his face.

It is now a situation of do and die, he couldn't afford to fail at this point.

Anyhow he had to kill a million zombies but where was he going to find a million zombies? He was already lucky enough to Kill a hundred thousand zombies.

Huf! Huf! Nicholas breathed deeply, blood was flowing out of open wounds in chest. He looked at his men lying on the ground unconscious then at the golden-haired boy who was still calm and collected, surrounded by hundreds of monsters of all shapes and sizes.

"Impressive, very impressive," Cyrus genuinely praised, he was truly impressed by Nicholas' performance.

Nicholas remained silent at his words, he only clenched his fist and gritted his teeth, he was staring at the monsters around Cyrus.

Cyrus seemed to have understood as he looked at Nicholas' expression, he had heard too many stories about the first invasion of the Abyss.

"Well if you join me I can give you some information about the monsters," Cyrus spoke with a smile on his face.

He was one hundred per cent sure about his conjecture and indeed Nicholas' eyes shook after hearing his words.

After looking at the Nichoas reaction cystus decided to strike when the iron was hot.

"Actually the apocalypse, death and destruction aren't just happening randomly but a person or to be more precise a force is behind it," Cyrus softly spoke with a mysterious smile on his face.

He could feel Nicholas' hate for the monsters so he decided to strategically use the common knowledge to his advantage.

Nicholas's pupils widened at Cyrus's words, doesn't that mean a person killed his family.

Nicholas' eyes turned bloodshot. How can anyone do this to him?

Nicholas remembered the face of his Daughter, who was waiting for him in the camp.

"Dad when are we going to meet Mom," Nicholas remembered his daughter's question, how her voice had quivered.

Now if he were to believe the strange youth words then he had a chance to take revenge.

No, he didn't have the chance to take revenge but he was going to take it at any cost.

A resolute look appeared in Nicholas' eyes.

Dawn was moving like a phantom, leaving countless afterimages behind, the earlier city was nowhere to be seen.

Twenty hours had passed since his battle at the city, two days had passed since his tribulation started.

In these twenty-four hours he hadn't encountered any big horde of Zombies, but he saw all sorts of people fighting for their survival.

All sorts of women selling their bodies for food, middle-aged men with creepy expressions, young men and women with lost limbs lying in the corner of the street.

Dawn didn't bother with any of them, although he felt some pity for them but that was it.

Anyway he was already helping them by killing the zombies around them, and there wasn't anything else that he could do.

And one more thing, Dawn's Unique skill mana bending has leveled up once more, He was giddy from happiness.

Unknowingly Dawn found himself on his way of some sort, the highway stretched for who knew how long.

Abandoned cars of all sorts lay scattered on the highway.

Dawn could corpses of people frozen in shock, the look of horror was evident on their faces.
