Ch.65: Team 7.

Kakashi and Sasuke stood in front of each other. "Facing off against someone who holds the last name of one of the strongest clans. This should be interesting..." Kakashi had his book in hand while Sasuke had his fist bawled.

As the wind blew, tension between both parties became prominent. Sasuke quickly reached for his back pockets and flicked his wrist out towards Kakashi. Shuriken quickly came at him but he only jumped away. "Things like that are useless.."

The Shuriken cut a hidden rope however which caused Sasuke to smirk. 'A trap?' Projectiles came at Kakashi to which he jumped out the way again. Sasuke then appeared behind Kakashi, surprising him from his speeds. 'He certainly lives up to his title..'

He kicked at the left side of Kakashis body to which he defended by putting his left arm to the side, using his right as well to reinforce the blow of the kick.

Kakashi then used his right hand to grab Sasukes ankle which caused Sasuku to put a punch into motion towards Kakashis face.

Kakashi caught the punch but like he was expecting that, Sasuke spun himself vertically 180 degrees to now have his head closer to the ground than he would his feet.

'Damn!' Sasuke reached for the bells and faintly touched them before Kakashi undid his hold on Sasuke and blew each other back.

'What a guy. He didn't give me any room to breathe..' Sasuke landed on the ground while panting. 'I'm not done here old man!' A clone of Sasuke appeared in the air behind Kakashi while doing hand seals.

A ball of fire was fired at Kakashi as he slowly turned around to look at it. 'A genin that can use this level of jutsu at such a age? And to have the Chakra compacity to pull it off..'

Another ball of firing was coming from in front of him now. 'The way Kazemi uses clones inspired me. I hate that he influenced me to come up with this damn plan!' The clone disappeared and Sasuke stopped using fire style as well.

What was left was only a slightly deep crater, Kakashi being no where to be found. 'He's gone?! But where?! The air...? No, the trees..?' He them felt someone grab his ankle, causing him to shoot his head down in an instant.

Kakashi pulled him into the earth and revealed himself completely. Sasuke now had his entire body but his head in the ground. "Good try. Better luck next time.." Sasuke cursed him as he began walking away.

Sakura soon showed herself with a kunai in hand. 'What will she do?' He was genuinely curious and so, he put his book away. 'I-I just have to wait for Kazemi to get done preparing..' Kazemi was sitting on top of a huge pine tree.

'It takes time to summon 3,000 clones. And yes. the backlash is hell, but it'll help us pass. That's right, us. As in all of us. This test was just testing our teamwork so all I'll have to do is...well, work with my team..'

Sakura threw the Kunai at Kakashi who hit it away. "That won't work Sakura. You know this.." She didn't heed his words and only kept throwing kunai. She had loads of them since Kazemi gave her his pouch.

'She's stalling for something, but what exactly is it? I'll play her little game though..' She kept this up for 15 minutes while leading him to the stump of a tree.

He would then see a rope in leaves come out to tie his feet and hang him from a tree, but it failed, seeing how he just stepped to the side.

"Hmm.." Just then, the sound of multiple clones being spawned in sounded out. 'That noisr... an enemy attack?!' Kakashi became on guard. 'Wait. Is that..?' He saw some orange jump in a tree which slightly lowered his guard.

'It-It can't be!' Back to Sasuke, he saw hundreds of Kazemis standing around him. 'No way! Not even the 3rd could pull of this much! How the hell did he....?!' The clones helped him out the ground followed by one Clone coming up to him.

"The goal of this lesson is teamwork, Sasuke. So whaddya say? Shall we swallow our pride and help each other here? I think we can take those bells with this many people." He extended his hand out to Sasuke who only stared at it.

'Of course that's his purpose. Teamwork though..' He's never been much of a team player which caused some conflict in himself. 'Its true that with this many clones though, we could beat him. I guess...' He took his hand with a smirk.

"Let's do it. Let's work together to get that last bell.." They fist bumped and jumped away. Cut back to Kakashi, he was being jumped by hundreds of clones. 'Multi-Shadow Clone Jutsu... I see how he's able to use so many clones now.'

He couldn't help but be impressed by such an achievement. 'And to think that he'd be the first to figure out the actually goal of this training exercise..' He heard that Kazemi wasn't the brightest student and that he didn't understand much.

'It seems that that was all fake news. This brat is actually smart..' He fended against the odd attacks that the clones threw at him. The real Kazemi and Sasuke arrived near Sakura and plopped down next to her. "S-Sorry guys. This is as far as I go..." They nodded, expecting no less.

"Get the bell, defeat him.. Do one of 'em so I can hurry up and call them back.." They nodded but only Sasuke left. "I'll help you!" She kneeled down next to Kazemi while taking out pills and such. 'She can be a great medical ninja now that I think about it..'

He took the pills she gave him which were meant for suppressing pain. She would then give him an elixir that allowed him breathing room, meaning he could relax but not too much to accidentally call his clones back. "Thank you, Sakura. Your slowly beginning to find yourself.."

He placed his hand on her head while sighing in relief. "No, thank you, Kazemi. I'm only able to do all of this becuase of you telling me the truth.."

She was referring to when he called her useless. "Just doing whatever I can to help my friends. Hopefully you'll do the same in the near future.."

Kakashi then appeared next to them and said, "Okay, okay. You all pass..." Hearing this, Sakura hugged Kazemi tightly while repeating, 'Thank You!'

Kakashi looked back at the clones and saw that he made no progress at all in poofing them away. 'That requires way too much chakra. Not even with the bloodline of Uzumaki can one do this much..'

Sasuke appeared and sat next to Kazemi who made all the clones disappear. "Congratulations. You are the first team I've trained that actually passed the test.

From here on out, we're team 7! You are officially ninja!" He put his thumb out at them with a smile behind the mask.

'Team 7...' They all thought while looking between each other. The wind blew as well as their hair. 'From here on out, I should be able to meet with some powerful people..' Kazemi thought while looking down at his hand.

'From here on out, I'll get stronger to kill that man..' Sasuke smirked as he thought back to a certain someone. 'From here on out, I won't be so useless to them! I'll become a kunoichi that everyone, no, i'll respect!' Sakura thought while looking up.

All 3 of them had goals in life now. Whether it was to gain power, whether it was to kill a certain man or whether it was for self recognition. It'll guide them down whatever path they take.
