New Year
Although the Furuta family was not as likable to Hana as Mr. and Mrs. Sato, they were enthusiastic towards her as a guest. They all had lunch together, and it was during this meal that Hana got to know the whole family, including Jun's great-nephew and a pair of twins who had just started junior high school. They had been upstairs playing video games and didn't come down at all.
Teenagers of that age often have a rebellious nature, showing a cool demeanor and disinterest in interacting with others. After lunch, Hana went upstairs to rest and accidentally saw the twins playing games. She found it interesting and watched for a while before joining in.
