The sun glowed brightly on his face, and it made him wince. Gray rolled to the other side of the big bed and rubbed his two eyes. The mattress underneath him was bouncing, giving him a pleasant sensation.
He slowly opened his eyes and saw the bright window facing the edge of his bed. He paddled his feet and found out that he's still wearing his shoes.
He recalled that he just carelessly slumped down on the bed the moment he entered this room last night. Not only that, he also remembered that he was at Calix's house.
Gray sprang up and checked his phone. It's 8am in the morning.
"Oh yeah, he told me that he's going to open up early today"
He trailed the stairs down and, to his surprise, he found the first floor empty. It made him turn to the right side, which was the bakery door.
