Chapter 22

Kim Hae-yoon came out of the bathroom after finishing her bath, her long black hair was wet as she dried it off with a towel. Cho Shiye noticed her and stood up.

"Let me dry your hair for you." Cho Shiye offered as Kim Hae-yoon nodded eagerly and sat on the bench. Cho Shiye took out the hair dryer from the drawer.

Kim Hae-yoon hummed softly as Cho Shiye dried her hair, the two didn't say anything as only the sound that could be heard was what Kim Hae-yoon was humming.

The peaceful and quiet silence was broken by Kim Hae-yoon who pulled Cho Shiye's hands, making Cho Shiye lean closely to her as Kim Hae-yoon tilted her head upwards and met Cho Shiye's face.

Kim Hae-yoon smirked as Cho Shiye blushed and closed her eyes in instinct as Kim Hae-yoon leaned closely. She waited and waited for Kim Hae-yoon's lips to meet hers but Kim Hae-yoon only looked at her with a grin.

"W-what?" Cho Shiye asked as Kim Hae-yoon didn't respond and kept looking at her. "Is there something wrong with my face?" She asked, feeling uneasy and uncomfortable.

"No," Kim Hae-yoon shook her head. "You're just so beautiful." She said with an earnest smile as Cho Shiye blushed.

"That's so random." Cho Shiye chuckled as Kim Hae-yoon chuckled along with her and moved her body to face her.

She clasped their hands together tightly as her other hand was wrapped around Cho Shiye's waist. Cho Shiye didn't know what to say or react as Kim Hae-yoon pulled her close, making her seat on her lap as Kim Hae-yoon rested her head on Cho Shiye's nape.

"Hae-yoon?!" Cho Shiye shrieked. "What are you doing?!" Kim Hae-yoon didn't respond as she pulled her in for a hug.

They could feel each other's heart, beating quite loudly and wildly, in their warm embrace. Cho Shiye slowly felt comfortable, despite the suddenness of the situation, as she wrapped her arms around Kim Hae-yoon's, patting her head as Kim Hae-yoon nuzzled against her.

"Hehehe~" Kim Hae-yoon giggled like a kid as Cho Shiye smiled. "Honey, do you like it?" Kim Hae-yoon asked.

"Like what?" Cho Shiye asked curiously.

"My hair!" Kim Hae-yoon replied. "Do you like it?" She asked again.

"Yes, it's so soft and cute." Cho Shiye replied as Kim Hae-yoon giggled.

"Really? Really?" Kim Hae-yoon asked again and again as Cho Shiye nodded and answered her truthfully.

She really likes Kim Hae-yoon's hair, it's so long and silky, soft to the touch, and looks majestic.

"Do you like it when it's long or short?" Kim Hae-yoon asked as Cho Shiye imagined Kim Hae-yoon with short hair.

'Well, she looks quite handsome.' Cho Shiye thought as she smiled.

"You look beautiful and handsome with either of them." Cho Shiye replied as Kim Hae-yoon hummed.

"I see." Kim Hae-yoon perked up and looked directly at Cho Shiye. Cho Shiye looked at her curiously, wondering what this drunk alpha in front of her would do next.

Kim Hae-yoon took Cho Shiye's hands and kissed them, she kept kissing it as Cho Shiye giggled, feeling tickled.

"You seem to be very fond of my hands." Cho Shiye commented as Kim Hae-yoon looked at her and nodded. "Are my hands the only place of mine that you wanted to kiss?" She asked.

'Huh?!' Cho Shiye blushed. 'What am I saying?!'

Kim Hae-yoon looked at her in astonishment and amusement.

"Why?" Kim Hae-yoon asked as she leaned closely to Cho Shiye, their face only a few centimeters apart. "Do you want me to kiss you?" She teased.

Cho Shiye's face, which was already red from embarrassment, became an even deeper shade of red as she stood up. Kim Hae-yoon laughed and followed Cho Shiye who went to their bed and covered herself with the quilt.

"Aw, honey~ Don't you want me to kiss you?" Kim Hae-yoon asked, her tone sounded so soft and sweet as if she's coaxing Cho Shiye.

"N-no!" Cho Shiye replied under the covers as Kim Hae-yoon laughed and lay next to her, wrapped her arms around Cho Shiye who's still hiding as she whispered.

"Alright then, goodnight sweetheart." Kim Hae-yoon cooed as she closed her eyes and soon fell asleep.

Cho Shiye waited patiently for Kim Hae-yoon, wondering what that woman was up to but after 5 minutes had passed, she didn't hear any noise coming outside so she took a peek and saw Kim Hae-yoon sleeping soundly next to her.

She felt embarrassed because of her obscene thoughts as she covered Kim Hae-yoon with the quilt as they stayed cooped up together. Cho Shiye rested on Kim Hae-yoon's arms and wrapped her left hand on Kim Hae-yoon's waist and soon fell asleep as she heard the calm beating of Kim Hae-yoon's.

Kim Hae-yoon woke up early with a severe hangover, she couldn't move her body as she felt a heavy weight wrapped around her body, paralyzing her.

Groggy, she rubbed eyes using her right hands as she couldn't seem to feel her left arms. She looked to her left and saw Cho Shiye sleeping peacefully in her arms.

She smiled and leaned forward to kiss Cho Shiye's forehead as she felt Cho Shiye move and looked at her.

"....What are you doing?" Cho Shiye asked as Kim Hae-yoon froze up and darted her eyes.

"Uhh… I was trying to wake you up because my arm felt numb, hahaha…" Kim Hae-yoon said as she pointed at her left arm that Cho Shiye had used as a pillow as she blushed and stood up.

"Oh. I see." Cho Shiye coughed.

After waking up in an awkward passion, the two soon got up and took a shower separately in the two separate bathrooms inside their room.

Kim Hae-yoon together with Cho Shiye ate breakfast in silence, they didn't mention what happened last night, maybe out of embarrassment or not.

"I'm going to hangout with In-eun today." Cho Shiye spoke, breaking the silence as Kim Hae-yoon looked at her.

"I see." Kim Hae-yoon replied. "You should bring a guard with you. I'll tell Butler Park to assign someone and, be careful, alright?" Kim Hae-yoon reminded with a soft smile as she reached out and grabbed Cho Shiye's hand and rubbed her thumb against it.

"Yes, I will." Cho Shiye answered and held Kim Hae-yoon's hands tightly as she smiled at her.
