Jaden was already aware that the two new monsters being special summoned would be stronger than his two strongest monsters almost immediately, due to the effect of [Honor Among Thieves.]
During a Shadow Duel, it wasn't at all necessary to wait for the system to prompt you to do anything. If you didn't act before the system prompt activated and expired, you could miss an opportunity. However, as long as the moves being made were in accordance with the rules, the speed or frequency with which you could play cards or activate effects was only limited by your own physical and intellectual abilities.
Thus, Mr. Bandit Man had immediately drawn his four cards, special summoned his two selves, and one right after another normal summoned [Bandit Man Zack] and then special summoned [Bandit Brakk], not even leaving a second in between his actions.
After placing a fifth card on his own duel disk type device on his arm, the card of the first monster he summoned disappeared from its place on the interface. The holographic display on the ground had another one of its rectangles turn red and the monster associated with that card didn't leave the field but there were now five red holographic squares on his side of the field for every monster he'd summoned.
Knowing that he wouldn't be able to make any further moves against this new line up, Jaden switched his Sparkman and Alius into Defense Mode immediately upon witnessing the two new summons appearing.
Once the coalescing of scattered light particles, emitted from the played cards, congealed into their respective monsters, Avian had already been ordered to put distance between himself and the ongoing battle.
Mr. Bandit Man could have ordered his weaker monsters to try and destroy Sparkman and Alius but he wasn't sure that they would succeed before Jaden could switch them back to Attack Mode. He wanted to get rid of these monsters with as little hassle as possible and while giving his opponent as few benefits as possible.
"Mr. Bandit Men, attack Sparkman and Alius. Tracker Bandit, get rid of that annoying little bird."
Sparkman and Alius were sent to the Graveyard quite quickly after the new line up appeared. Avian, with his SPD stat that rivaled Mr. Bandit Man's, was able to easily evade the first attack of Tracker Bandit. He then took to the skies forcing Tracker Bandit to pull out his bow, being the only Bandit currently capable of long range attacks. This was an ability of flying creatures that the system had nerfed, by decreasing the speed of any airborne flying monsters by the difference between their SPD and AT.
However, without much hesitation, one of the summoned Mr. Bandit Men grabbed the other [Mr. Bandit Man] and threw him full power towards Avian. Avian, having just evaded Tracker Bandit's second attack by a hair's breadth, was immediately impacted by Mr. Bandit Man and sent to the Graveyard.
[LP: 2985 >>> LP: 2889]
Regretting that he didn't have any more BP, he finished off his play by attacking Jaden's LP directly with [Bandit Brakk.]
[LP: 2889 >>> LP: 2801]
Jaden smiled at Mr. Bandit Man's display, he was quite satisfied with his performance so far. While beater decks normally were very straightforward, the level of nuance and complexity in this one Shadow Duel completely surpassed all of his experiences mopping up monsters in the forest.
Dramatically using quick locking movements, Jaden drew five more cards. "Well played, Mr. Bandit Man, but don't get too cocky over just a few measly Life Points. The game has only just begun, after all. Also, don't forget that my Avian, being destroyed by battle and sent to the Graveyard, has its effect activated and now one random monster from your Graveyard is banished.
"Now, with that bit of business out of the way, let's spice things up a bit shall we! I activate the Spell Card [Polymerization]."
On Jaden's side of the field about half a meter off of the ground where his monsters would normally be, a large vertical swirling mass of blue and orange colors appeared.
Laying two cards on his IB, two monsters appeared near the swirling mass and were sucked into it.
"With Elemental HERO Vaporia's effect activated, I can use her as a substitute for one of my Fusion Material Monsters and now I can summon [Elemental HERO Flame Wingman] and [Elemental HERO Sparkman.]"
The two monsters and the swirling mass both transformed into an undulating mass of pale yellow light that quickly took the shape of another singular monster. Then the monster shaped mass of light dimmed continuously, until it revealed completely the newly formed monster, standing beside Sparkman.
During his earlier customizations, Jaden had modified Flame Wingman's appearance slightly, so that he now had two wings, instead of his normal one. This way he would actually be able to fly in this world. Without two functional wings, he would be restricted to grounded movements only. For heroes like Neos, however, their flying was part of their abilities, thus the need for wings is negated.
Noticing that the total strength of Jaden's Flamewing Man is now more than his [Mr. Bandit Man] but that Sparkman's was still lower, Mr. Bandit Man did exactly what Jaden expected he would do. His [Mr. Bandit Man] was still the fastest on the field and so he thought that he would try and destroy Sparkman before Flame Wingman could land an attack on the other [Mr. Bandit Man.]
However, Jaden never actually sent an attack towards the other [Mr. Bandit Man] he only made his monster charge at him in a feint attack so that he could focus all of his attention on the [Mr. Bandit Man] heading for his Sparkman. Making sure that his Sparkman was in position and making sure that he timed this just right, he summoned Wroughtweiler in Defense Mode directly in front of his Sparkman.
Mr. Bandit Man's attack landed on Wroughtweiler destroying it. His Flame Wingman, however, had stopped his pursuit of the other [Mr. Bandit Man] as soon as he saw the other sprinting towards Sparkman. Immediately, he changed direction and headed for the [Mr. Bandit Man] that was rushing towards Sparkman.
Less than a second after [Mr. Bandit Man] sent [Wroughtweiler] to the Graveyard and was rearing back for another attack aimed at Sparkman, Flame Wingman suddenly appeared beside him with his giant dragon head arm pointed towards him, with its mouth wide open and issuing forth a massive burst of flame.
Just as [Mr. Bandit Man] had been destroyed, Jaden, having taken Vaporia and [Polymerization] from his Graveyard due to Wroughtweiler's effects, immediately activated [Polymerization] and fused Vaporia and Sparkman into [Elemental HERO Shining Flare Wingman.]
This turn of events had happened entirely too suddenly for Mr. Bandit Man. He had just ordered his [Mr. Bandit Man] to attack Flame Wingman, since the extra card in his Graveyard had now put its AP above Flame Wingman's. However, before his monster was in range, another Fusion summoned monster appeared, with even more AP than his monster's current 272.
The Shining Flare Wingman standing directly next to Flame Wingman would be able to easily intercept his attack at that range, which would only lead to him losing another monster. Thus, he stopped his monster from attacking. Then, even before he could register the extent of this new threat, Jaden informed him of something quite troubling.

Every time Mr. Bandit Man witnessed another one of these bizarre creatures appear in front of him, he was continuously stunned by their unique compositions. He couldn't imagine from where such creatures could've originated but tried his best not to think about it and remain focused on the duel.
With Shining Flare Wingman standing in front of him with a full 528 AP, he couldn't help but pause and wonder how on earth the cards he'd been given could combat something like that.
This game seemed to be structured in a way that forced you to eliminate your opponent's monsters in order to attack them directly. However, the number of factors that were altered simply by the act of attacking, evading, drawing, and even summoning made this process a never ending stress fest, where even the tiniest mistake could lead to losing your grip on a certain victory and handing it over to your opponent.
On top of Shining Flare Wingman's ridiculous AP both of it and Flame Wingman's effects were quite frightening. Even the weakest monster on Jaden's side, had the frightening effect of being able to attack him directly, completely disregarding the monsters on his field.
Luckily, Jaden didn't currently have any face down spell or traps but, if he attacked Jaden even once, he knew the first thing Jaden would do would be to draw a spell or trap card and immediately activate that effect. Which wouldn't be nearly as terrible of a thought, if it weren't for all the extra AP Jaden's monsters got from those damn spell cards.
That small spark of hope that had been ignited in his heart, whenever he had turned the tables previously was quickly dimming little by little. It seemed that with every card that Jaden drew and played, Mr. Bandit Man seemed to continue to lose progressively more control over the situation.
'For now, the best thing I can do is to stall for time and hope that a strategy presents itself.'
Seeing that Flame Wingman was standing guard by Mariner and Shining Flare Wingman was heading straight for his only remaining [Mr. Bandit Man], he moved all three of his other monsters out of the way of that battle and focused all of his attention on helping [Mr. Bandit Man] evade Shining Flare Wingman.
Their SPD stat was the same and so if he maneuvered his monster effectively he should have a chance at getting a couple of successful evasions in, before losing his strongest beater.
Remembering the last time he had preemptively dodged and ended up paying for it, he focused as completely as he could on Mr. Bandit Man's movements and couldn't help but give a slight smile whenever he managed to successfully evade the first attack.
What happened next, however, he was completely unprepared for. The Flame Wingman that he thought was guarding Mariner was in fact the monster Jaden had been focused on the most. It had been tracking Mr. Bandit Man's movements with its dragon arm's mouth wide open and pointed in its direction. The moment that [Mr. Bandit Man] moved to evade Shining Flare Wingman, Flame Wingman aimed at the location it was moving to and released its attack.
The instant that [Mr. Bandit Man] finished his evasive maneuver, he was also enveloped in a sea of bright orange flames that sent him directly to the Graveyard.
With all of his attention fixed on Shining Flare Wingman, he didn't even have time to think about putting [Mr. Bandit Man] into Defense Mode, before he was destroyed by Flame Wingman's attack.
Unfortunately for Mr. Bandit Man, this wasn't the only thing that had happened in that instant. Jaden had also used his Mariner to attack [Tracker Bandit] and scored a clean hit.
Even though he quickly responded to this sudden turn of events, he felt as if he was being led like a moth to a flame. As if every move he was making was a distraction for some larger scheme he couldn't see.
So far every decision that he had thought was correct and would help him win was later revealed to have been a disaster. This was such an incredibly frustrating position to be put in. It felt as though all of his actions were meaningless and it was taking everything he had not to break under that pressure.
[Jaden LP: 2801]
[Mr. Bandit Man LP: 2952]
Mr. Bandit Man drew his next four cards and swiftly summoned his final copy of [Mr. Bandit Man] in response to Tracker Bandit's destruction. He then summoned another [Bandit Man Zack] along with [Bandit Camp Guard] (AP: 128 DP: 136 SPD: 112.)
"With my men already summoned, I now activate the Spell Card [War Chief's Banner], which will raise the AP of every [Mr. Bandit Man] on my field by 40. I'll then lay down a face down card and get down to business. [Mr. Bandit Man], [Bandit Man Zack], and [Bandit Camp Guard] destroy his Mariner.
"I attack your Life Points directly!" Jaden called out, as Mr. Bandit Man noticed a shiny ship anchor shaped projectile had adeptly maneuvered its way across the field, landed directly on whatever magic was preventing him from receiving bodily damage, and caused his LP to fall.
[Mr. Bandit Man LP: 2704]
'What the…' Looking over at Jaden's side of the field he noticed he now had a face down card there. It only took him a second to realize that in the stress of the last couple of exchanges he'd overlooked that Jaden still had a single DP left from when he had destroyed Jaden's [Wroughtweiler.]
'Dammit! He intentionally neglected that point then, in order to take out my last Tracker. Now his ability to attack with each monster without increasing my BP is reset and my LP are paying the price. I have to get rid of that thing!
'This new formation should get the job done, though! Or at least I hope so! Either way, I have to do something and that Mariner is bad news.'
[Mr. Bandit Man] continued running at a pace that allowed the others to keep up. They were moving as a single unit, trying to ensure that Mr. Bandit Man could land the finishing blow on Mariner.
The idea was for them to all rush in together with [Mr. Bandit Man] focused exclusively on taking out Mariner and the others focused exclusively on sacrificing themselves to intercept attacks from the other Heroes.
'Before there was only a chance that Jaden would have his monsters attack at all. Now that he's drawn another card, it's not only guaranteed but follow up attacks can't be ruled out. Even if I do take out Mariner, [Mr. Bandit Man] will be a sitting duck right next to the one monster that can eliminate him. No, dammit! I can't risk it, I'll just have to go after Flame Wingman!
'Wait, what is he doing now? His Shining Flare Wingman is guarding Mariner but Flame Wingman is putting distance between him and the other two Heroes. I smell another trap! Dammit, is everything I do destined to be part of this assholes scheme? I was planning on taking out Flame Wingman anyways and this would seem to make that task easier but it can't be that simple, can it?
'What is he planning? Wait, what if what he's planning is something like Tracker Bandit's effect? If that's the case, then it doesn't even matter how much I think about it. In order to win this duel, I'll have to trigger it sooner or later, regardless. Grrrr! Goddamnit! Fuck this god forsaken game! FUCK, FUCK, FUCK, FUCK!' Mr. Bandit Man raged inside of his head.
