Chen Zen was 24 years old this year, never having a boyfriend or girlfriend. This is because he is often misunderstood. Chen Zen had no choice but to comply because this was his parents' company after all. So his younger brother Chen Bao had the highest position in the company being the CEO while he himself had the second highest position in the company being the President.

Not much has changed ever since Chen Bao was handed the CEO position. Chen Zen still did the same exact work meaning his younger brother did not do any work and instead, Chen Bao pushed his work to Chen Zen.

Chen Zen did not mind because he loves work. He likes to work overtime as this distracts himself from thinking about things he does not want to think about such as him not having a boyfriend or girlfriend despite being 24 years old.

Chen Zen likes both men and women, but he mainly prefers men. Chen Zen was startled out of his thoughts when the door to his office suddenly opened. Of course, his exterior expression remained unchanged but his heart started to beat uncontrollably from the scare.

He raised his eyebrow in question to the unwelcome intruder. The said intruder was Ran Yu, Chen Zen's personal secretary. Ran Yu pushed up her pink glasses and hurriedly stood at attention in front of Chen Zen.

'The Ice Prince is really scary,' Ran Yu thought as she couldn't help but to tremble under Chen Zen's cold gaze which she mistook for a glare.

The employees of Hua Tech. love to gossip. They all agree that Chen Zen is the handsomest man they ever saw in their entire lives. However, they all think Chen Bao is better than Chen Zen because Chen Bao is the CEO of the company. Furthermore, Chen Bao is selfless and kind hearted compared to the cold and scary Chen Zen.

Mustering up all the courage she could get, Ran Yu took a deep breath and stuttered out, "Pr-pre-esident Chen, I emailed you the report."

Chen Zen calmly waited for her to continue. If there was anything he did not like, it was speaking. He thought speaking was a total waste of energy.

At most, he would speak three sentences per day to his most loyal butler, Wang Dong when he came home to his mansion. His butler was the one who accompanied him from birth. Wang Dong was the only one there to patch him back up when his parents would stab or whip him for eating food. He was the one who snuck him food, risking his own job. He was the only one that Chen Zen would ever trust in this lifetime.

He was selectively mute as his parents would always say that his voice sounded weird. It made him very insecure about his voice. So he would just write down what he needed to say on his phone and it would project it to the person he was talking to.

In reality, his voice sounded like heaven. His parents disliked his voice because his voice was deeper than their precious treasure, Chen Bao. Chen Bao was jealous of Chen Zen's deep and masculine voice, compared to his high pitched girly voice so much so that he complained to their parents.

"CEO Chen Bao asked me to check it over and sign it so we can finally launch the Genesis XS." Ran Yu, Chen Zen's secretary said.

Chen Zen nodded coldly. His aura was cold and imposing which caused the secretary to shiver in fear. She swore she saw her life flash before her eyes. She hurried out of the room.

Chen Zen shook his head and thought, 'What a weird woman. All I did was glance at her.'

Chen Zen then typed in the password to his super computer and looked for the email Ren Yu sent him. Chen Zen frowned when he saw what came up.

'What is this?' He wondered as he clicked on the link that Ran Yu sent him.

Chen Zen's eyebrows jumped up in surprise. It was a link to a BL novel. He squinted his eyes to read the novel title as it was printed in a small font.

"Childe Jiang's Darling Wife is unrivaled: 101 ways to Dote on you?" Chen Zen muttered out loud for the first time in 18 years.

He himself was shocked when he spoke out loud. He was confused as to why he was able to speak without being in the comfort of his own home.

Because of this fact, he decided to read the novel instead of doing his work.
