Sungho went back to the desk, not minding the mess that the palace guards caused inside the study room. He took his seat, the softness of the cushion reduced a bit of his towering tedium. He leaned his elbow on the desk, his chin rested on the palm of his hand. "I cannot know the reason why they sped up the assassination, can I? I don't know when my brother and I will leave this land as well."
After taking a short pause, Sungho resumed by inquiring, "Kwan, how about you fetch me the information—"
"I believe I do not have the power to do so, Your Highness. I cannot defy the command," was the answer he received a second before he could finish his query.
"What command? Daewon's?" Sungho replied. Immediately, he pulled his chin away from his palm when he recalled and realized. "Oh yeah. You're one of his men, aren't you?"
"I am, Your Highness."
