3 Bell Test 1

He hasn't finished going through the library, he still had quite a bit of it to go through, but he was much better off than he had been last night.

From martial arts directly made by the Uchiha to fight with their Sharingan, while also learning a load of new jutsu's, most in the library he wouldn't be able to use often yet. Once or twice, and some he wouldn't be able to use until his body matured and caught up with his 'Soul'.

That is something that increased suddenly, with his new soul joining together his chakra jumped up in quality and quantity, however it was now limited to his physical maturity.

Excercise and hormones would increase it explosively over time, as well as meditation as he was already doing.

He also learned something serious, the eyes didn't lose their light so to speak, not exactly.

He learned that females who awakened their Sharingan, up to the Magekyo even with serious use, have a longer time before their eyes started to deteriorate.

This was mixed with the fact women had a naturally large connection to Yin, meaning their eyes took less stress over time.

This also meant, that if he could find a way to channel Yin chakra properly, he could make it so he could slow down the time his eyes would deteriorate. But this also meant he'd be taking in more Yin chakra, which was good for genjutsu and certain powerful jutsu's later on that he would get, but it may negatively affect more yang-related jutsu's.

There was also the fact that there might be a way to get a rinnegan earlier than he's originally meant to, but a plan wasn't built currently. For now, he would focus on building up his overall strength.

The one thing he planned, was the Chunnin exams when Orochimaru would attack him. He'd fight back, but even if there is a chance he could avoid it, he'd still take the seal.

The seal was not only a sizable boost to strength, but if he could reverse engineer it somehow, he might be able to use it to passively ingest nature chakra.

He also learned of a very minor genjutsu, that allowed him to put his eyes under a haze that basically showed the activation of his eyes. It was usually saved for those who were in Anbu and attached to their mask through a seal.

But, it was such a low level of a genjutsu he could keep it up as he was now, not only would it help increase his overall control with his eyes.

But it would also help his eyes grow stronger by getting them used to be activated.

If he took the proper steps and followed the book he found by the letter? He could make it so he could keep up his normal Sharingan constantly.

The only thing he needed to make sure of is that he was careful around those who were better at genjutsu sensing, Kakashi being one of them. As long as he didn't pull up his headband, he'd keep it up.

He had even found a way he might be able to help Kakashi seal the eye, and have it activate only when he released the seal. It would not only help Kakashi get back to his prime, and past it. But it would also explosively increase his chakra and overall strength with using the Sharingan.

The bad thing about the copy wheel eye when a none Uchiha used them, was their inability to turn them off. However, if Kakashi was able to turn them off, and then get the strain placed over them to slowly heal and strengthen his eyes, he could make it so he could use them for longer, and at a better rate than he could now.

Maybe he could also get Kakashi to pick up a blade again?

Either way, he had plenty of things to do to get not only canon characters stronger, but also himself.

Why was he attempting to help everyone get stronger? Well, he hadn't been able to watch Boruto in his previous life, but he knows they did everyone dirty. Not only was he planning to avoid that, but he was also planning for the fact his appearance may change something, for the better, or for the worse. He'd make sure they were ready for it.

Also, even now with the emotions and memories of Sasuke, he couldn't consider himself a bad guy, but he knew that he wasn't in a world where he could be the hero. He understood the need for a 'Shadow Hokage.'

He just planned to be way better than the original would end up, like not losing his arm over some bullshit squabble.

But that's for the future, today? He had a survival exercise to win.

He made his way to the training ground after a hearty breakfast, having also packed breakfast for the two since he knew they most likely didn't eat, and worst case? It would be a slap to Kakashi's sexy face when he pulls a whole ass meal from a storage scroll to feed the person who ends up on the log.

Once he got to the training ground, he found Sakura and Naruto already there, Naruto looking tired as hell while Sakura seemed ready to go. But the growls from both of them depicted that neither of them ate. Though Sakura seemed better than she had in the show, so she must've eaten the night before unlike canon.

Placing the breakfast before the both of them he went to go do a light workout.

"I thought Kakashi said not to eat breakfast?"

"It was a recommendation for one, but think about this. He was late yesterday, has a history of being late constantly, even when meeting with the Hokage himself. What makes you think he'll be on time for a bunch of kids still wet behind the ears?"

Sasuke was speaking while doing pushups, Sakura was more focused on his body than his words, but she was still listening. ''And, we'd only throw up if we had just eaten and suddenly got our asses kicked around. But, if we eat now, then do some light warm-ups, the food will digest enough for us to be fine. In the field, you need to eat what you can, when you can. Even if it's food pills."

Naruto grabbed the bento offered to him. ''I don't need any convincing, I'm starving anyway!" He then began to dig in, only to stop after a few bites. ''Hey this is actually pretty good, you make this Sasuke?"

He was shifting to do crunches. ''Yeah, live alone and you learn how to cook for yourself."

Sakura wasted no time grabbing hers to savor the sweet taste of Sasuke's food, thinking about the hard work and sweat he might've worked up cooking. Even if the food tasted as good as it did, her thoughts were on other things.

Naruto looked up from his bento, face stuffed. ''Why learn to cook if I can just get instant noodles?"

Sasuke looked towards him as he continued his workout. ''Well, you know the difference between instant ramen and Ichiraku. It usually takes about five minutes to make instant ramen. How many do you eat per meal?"

"I usually make two to three, but I always wait, because if I make them all at once, they're cold once I get to the third one."

"So, fifteen minutes, not counting the time you spend eating, mixing, and the like. Now think about this, fifteen to thirty minutes a day, you could prepare the things to make noodles. I'm not saying you could eat Ichiraku level noodles every day, but if you got to a point you could cook for yourself, you could eat delicious homemade ramen every day, using the same amount of time you would usually take to make an instant ramen cup, and then you can even decide the thickness of the noodles, thick of the cuts of meat, how large you want your serving size to be."

He watched, even as he was still eating food, Naruto's mouth was watering, his love for ramen is an obsession at this point before he slammed his finish bento down. ''That's it! I'm going to learn how to cook from Old Man Teuchi!"

Sakura spoke up, wanting to be helpful as well. ''I also learned, learning how to cook helps you build habits and skills for being a ninja, such as better use of kunai's, better hand to eye coordination, able to test using your senses to better identify things."

"And, Naruto. You want to be Hokage so everyone looks up to you, and likes you right? You said that your first day at the academy."

Naruto's face darkened a bit, thinking back to how he used to be treated, he still was treated poorly, but back then it had been far worse, actively hunted and beaten down in an alley, and even then he only now realized why he was being beaten. He couldn't even be mad, how would he feel if he was in their shoes? He didn't know how it was to have parents, but if he had lost Old Man Hiruzen or even Iruka, how would he react? "Yeah... It's my dream to be liked by everyone.''

"Then, what if you were a good cook? They say the easiest way to someone's good side is to be a good cook, think about the owner of the ramen stand. He's got great food, and whereas he might not have a lot of customers, all customers that come in love his food, and he's easy to get along with.''

Naruto raised his brows a bit to that as he seemed to go into thought, Sasuke had a good point. He remembered when Hiruzen first ate some of his fish, he wasn't sure how seasoning worked at the start, but once he found out, he made the fish taste better and better, and seeing the smile on the old man's face after he took that first bite, the filled something in him.

Just like watching people eat at Ichiraku's for their first time... Maybe he could become a chef if he had a talent for it?

Soon, Sakura had finished as well and Sasuke helped the both of them go through a light workout routine, helping them digest everything and properly use the energy for everything.

Soon the time passed and Kakashi showed up, since they had prior warning, and had something to fill their time with, when he appeared no one yelled about him being late.

Kakashi liked what he had been seeing, how Sasuke was able to take the role of a leader and help them understand, help them broaden their horizons.

Kakashi began to explain the bell test, it was the same as canon.

In summary, there were two bells they had to get from Kakashi by any means necessary even if it meant attempting to kill him, actually. Kakashi stated that if they didn't come with the intent to kill, they wouldn't be able to touch him.

They had three hours to get it by noon, it has just reached 9 am when he hit the start of the clock.

Just like canon, Sasuke chose to retreat to hide just as Sakura did, however Naruto despite it having been talked about yesterday, still decided to face Kakashi by himself.

Once Sasuke retreated, hiding away while suppressing the rotation of his chakra, suppressing his presence even further, he waited until Kakashi and Naruto began their spar, once they began to fight he used an earth burrowing technique to disappear into the earth, leaving a shadow clone where he was as the real him began to dig.

Ninjas were trained to hold their breath for an extended period of time, Sasuke simply moved to the tree that Naruto landed by.

Just as he was reaching the bell he got snatched up in the trap, Sasuke moved then.

Bursting from the ground, not only did he grab the bell but he had enough force in his jump to cut Naruto free and with chakra enhanced leg muscles grab Naruto and kick off the tree, vanishing into the forest once more and rapidly moving positions without disturbing nature as to not leave tracks.

Kakashi had been surprised, the burrowing technique wasn't hard to learn, hell it was just as easy as the clone technique as long as you took the time to learn how to mold earth nature. It wasn't even classified as a jutsu really.

It was used in head hunter Jutsu of course, but the proper part of headhunter was actually rapidly pulling down someone into the ground up to their shoulders while replacing the earth they shifted around them.

As he mentally caught up with what just happened, he was impressed. Sasuke had been able to not only instantly turn his teammates' fail into a victory, but he was fast enough to steal the bell Kakashi had used as bait, while also freeing his teammate and retreating quickly.

Just as Kakashi began to make chase, Sasuke returned from the forest from where they had run into it, throwing shuriken just as a trap was set off, releasing even more.

A minor taijutsu battle ensued before just like canon Kakashi had attempted to use headhunter, which did work, but as he pulled down Sasuke and moved to kneel next to him, he noticed the explosive tag beneath Sasuke's collar, at first he was horrified, why was Sasuke willing to go so far?

Then, there was a burst of smoke, exploding tags fluttering around Kakashi, his eyes widening.
