First day at her new home

Lin Rui has never seen such a beautiful house so he was stunned after seeing it all.

Shi Nan smiled while seeing his childish behaviour and bent down at his level and asked "Which room will Rui Rui like to live?"

"Can I choose any room then?" He asked in a shocked voice

"yes"

"then I want the room which is next to the balcony on the second floor."

Shi Nan was surprised to hear that because she thought that he'll ask for the main bedroom as many children like the bigger rooms.

House was somewhat like a modern building with a touch of history.

Shi Nan went to kitchen if there is something to eat. After checking she saw there was nothing else some leftover rice. While she was thinking what to do heard Lin Rui excited voice

"Wo…ow uncle you brought meat buns"

Shi Nan came out of the kitchen and saw Lin Zhen carrying meat buns

"I remembered you both must be hungry and there weren't any rations in the kitchen brought back some meat buns from canteen."

Seeing the caring personality of Lin Zhen, Shi Nan was once again happy about her decision to live a ordinary life with Lin Zhen.

They sat on a old dining table and started eating buns.

"Do you like it here?" Lin Zhen asked

"I have seen the place you are going to work is half and hour far away from army camp. We can go this weekend and buy a bicycle for you"

Shi Nan tried to remember that if she had one before but she didn't find an information related to this so she nodded in response.

"Do you have a ticket?" Shi Nan just remembered that til 1980 we need tickets to buy bicycle and there is still two years left for reform to open.

"You don't need to take that in your mind I'll see that and this house is allocated to us and it won't be taken back"

Shi Nan understood from Lin Zhen words that he bought this house and it would belong to them regardless of his position.

After eating Lin Zhen went back to work and Lin Rui felt sleepy and went back to sleep. Shi Nan sat on the dining table thinking how to transform her house.

She started from second floor from her room. She needs to transform master bedroom add new curtains new sofa, dressing table, flowers, rugs and all she wrote a list for it. Then she created a list for Lin Rui's room adding toys, twin bed and children friendly things.

Writing this took her long time and she didn't even notice it was dinner time and Lin Zhen was standing behind her.
