Chapter 3

It's been a week since Margarita or now Rietta came here.

She learned many things during this time such as

In this world there are wizards who can use magic.

There are several kingdoms and empires in this continent. And she's in the Averik empire one of the biggest empire to exist.

As for herself Rietta found out that she really was an immortal after jumping off a cliff. But even if she was an immortal that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt.

She still bleeds like a normal person but the wounds heal pretty quick.

Fortunately she automatically new the language here.

In this world power means everything but unfortunately she was not talented in magic. There was a testing stone in the village and it was proven that she was talentless.

But Rietta was unwilling to give up this quickly in her new life. She started to follow the hunters into the forest. She observed everything they did and tried hunting by herself.

By herself ...alone.

She died many times

By a bear

By a wolf

By a poisonous snake

And many other predators. It was a brutal training which she pushed herself to the very limit.

A year had already passed and now Rietta didn't even groan when a beast fangs fierced her body.

After 2 years of torturing herself inside this forest she was the predator.

Ten years have passed since Rietta came here. And no matter how warm the villagers treated her, she didn't glance back when she left.

During these ten years she gave her preys to the villagers everyday except for a day's meal portion. She thought she gave back as much as she received.

Rietta left the village after asking about the route to the capital.

At night when she was resting on top of a tree branch a sound of weapons colliding awakened her. Rietta has her own sword which was just a normal old sword that she found in the village storage.

The sounds got closer and now she could see exactly what was happening.

A group of people wearing a white armor was fighting people with black masks. Rietta didn't plan on interfering until she saw the crest of the royal family. During her time in the village she read a few books about the empire so of course she knew about the royal family.

No matter which world it is working for the government benefits one the most. She was looking for a way to join the army anyway. This was a perfect opportunity for her.

Rietta jumped down without any strategy or whatsoever. She didn't say anything and just charged towards the black clothed assassins.

Rietta wasn't talented in magic but was talented in swordsmanship

Ten years was enough for her talent to become one of the strongest in the empire.

The armored men were quick to respond and joined her. It didn't take long for them to subdue the assassins.

But the assassins quickly killed themselves with poison. The knights already expected this and wasn't very surprised. These assassins wouldn't reveal anything anyway.

They were more interested in the girl who helped them.
