Chapter 1

Margarita

This young girl was not always in a depression. It all started when she heard one sentence from her mother.

"You're a disappointment."

Margarita was the perfect child of the family. Growing up well behaved and kind. People would always say she's a good girl and praise her. She didn't drink nor smoke, she didn't even have a sleepover with her friend, not once and not once in her life did she use curse words.

Her parents used to say that getting good grades aren't everything but their action was the opposite of their words. She has to get good grades to honor her parents and set a good example for her little siblings.

After she became an adult she realized she wasn't living for herself. How does one love herself?

How does one live for herself?

When she heard the hurtful words from her mother Margarita realized her most terrifying nightmare was these words. She desperately tried to prevent these words from leaving her mother's mouth her whole life. And her father didn't say anything no comfort, no word and that was even more painful.

Then there was her relatives instead of supporting her, they talked behind her back. Even if Margarita didn't like her relatives, she still placed them in her heart thinking they were her blood related family.

The first time she said a curse word, her relatives immediately said she was a problematic child and a delinquent. She couldn't understand the hypocrisy of these adults.

The already sensitive Margarita couldn't bear it anymore and kicked them out of her heart. But then one of her parents said she was cold hearted while the other one said she was selfish.

Is it wrong to be a little selfish?

Was she supposed to live selflessly while hurting herself?

Then she fell into depression. She desperately wanted her parents to notice her situation.

She wanted to say what was in her heart.

But she couldn't.

The already introverted and depressed child couldn't open her heart to her parents. She just acted like her old self and no one noticed something was wrong with her.

First she disappointed her parents.

Then she was disappointed at herself.

She hated herself

Then she hated her parents and relatives

She stopped trusting people

She stopped trusting herself

She lost her self worth

Lastly she was disappointed in her parents.

She thought about suicide but didn't do it because her mother said it was an sin to do it. Her mother said those who commit suicide will go to hell.

When her mother hear that teenagers were committing suicide she said they were doing something foolish, that they couldn't overcame something trivial like this and gave in to pressure.

Margarita felt angry

What does she even know?!

Something trivial?

Was her situation trivial too?

It's easy for her mother to say this since no one had any expectations for her mother since she was a child but her mother proved them wrong and was so successful

Did she know how pressured her daughter felt her entire life?

Do you know about a life where everyone expects something from you?

They love and warm words she gave Margarita felf like burden

The money they gave her felt like an investment.

Then after two years.

She battled her depression for two years alone.

She tried to move forward, she really tried to. She acted strong and desperately tried to fix herself. She thought she was getting better. But it actually got worse.

Finally she took her own life in a quite place. Even if they searched the whole country she doubt they would ever find her.

Before suicide she thought about the people she was leaving behind

Her mother

Her father

Her grandma

Her grandpa

Her best friend

Her brothers

Her sisters.

She had so many people who loved her but at the same time she was alone.

Her heart felt empty.

People said frozen heart can be melted but her heart was empty.

Margarita thought she died no she definitely died.

But when she opened her eyes she found herself in middle of a forest.
