The Wilderness (2)

When Ronald questioned Princess Sophia why she had ran away from him, he wasn't expecting to hear an explaination from the Princess since she had never once spoken a word to him ever since they arrived at the forest, he just asked the question because he wanted to instigate fear into her.

However just as Ronald was about to turn back around and tell the Princess to follow him back to the campsite, something unexpected happened.

Princess Sophia rushed over to Ronald and started hugging his thighs.

"Thank you thank you thank you thank you!" Princess Sophia kept repeatedly saying thank you while balling her eyes out and firmly holding onto Ronald's legs.

"Shut up and get off of me, we're going back to the campfire." Ronald looked down at the Princess that was currently squeezing his thighs right now and stated in a irritated tone.

However, despite Ronald telling the Princess to get off of him, the Princess didn't even budge at all and still kept on holding his legs.

So Ronald couldn't help but wonder why the Princess was acting so clingy right now.

Although he knew that she was extremely scared when she had encountered the tiger and was extremely grateful for the fact that he had saved the Princess from the immense danger, wasn't he the one who had actually gotten her into this situation to begin with?

If anything, she should be even more pissed off at him.

However, Ronald didn't think about the matter any further and just decided to wait for Princess Sophia to calm down a bit before walking back to the campsite.

"Are you done now? Can we go back to the campsite now?" After the Princess had slowly started to calm down, Ronald asked her in an annoyed voice.

"S-sorry... we can go now." Princess Sophia let go of Ronald's thighs and slowly stood back up.

Princess Sophia knew that she had completely acted on an impulse and she was just grateful for the fact that she hadn't died.

But thinking back at it now, she knew that her kidnapper wouldn't let her die just like that since he went out of his way to bring her into this forest to begin with.

With the sheer amount of power and speed he displayed during the fight with both Ye Fan and the police, if he really wanted to, he could've just killed her back at the abandoned factory and easily would've gotten away with it.

So after logically thinking about it for a while, Princess Sophia returned back to her original state and started to give Ronald the cold shoulders again.

After the two arrived back at the campsite, the sun had started to come up, so Ronald put on his baseball cap and told Princess Sophia to get infront of him just like yesterday, and then they started venturing through the forest once again.

"Stop." About a few hours after they had started venturing through the forest, Ronald suddenly told Princess Sophia to stop.

Princess Sophia gave Ronald a slightly confused look since she didn't know why Ronald wanted to stop seemingly in the middle of nowhere, but she still complied anyways.

"Seems like another loser has came here to save the Princess, stop hiding and come out." Ronald noticed that something, or someone was secretly staring at him from the darkness of the woods, and although he had sounded like he was confident on the outside, he was actually pretty anxious in his heart.

The reason why he was anxious about the fact that something was secretly watching him wasn't because he was scared about getting killed.

What he was mainly worried about was that someone that was apart of the protagonist's camp might've discovered that the masked figure that had kidnapped the Princess was him all along since Ronald was wearing the same baseball cap that the masked figure had been wearing back at the abandoned factory.

Although his plan was to reveal to the world that he was the one who had kidnapped the Princess, he wanted people to believe that he had actually hired the masked figure to kidnap Princess Sophia instead.

So that beckons the question, why didn't he try to hide his identity from Princess Sophia as well?

Well actually Ronald had thought about that as well, however given the fact that the Kuangge family was as comparable to an ant in the face of the Leighton family along with the reputation he had as a brainless rich second generation, he knew that if he just revealed himself to the public that he had actually been the mastermind behind the kidnapping of Princess Sophia while completely hiding his identity, nobody would've believed him, even if he had decided to record the entire process.

And besides, after the two weeks was up, he was never going to see the Princess ever again, so even if the Princess had decided to try and expose his strength out to the public, there would be no actual evidence for her to back it up nor would she be able to convince anyone how strong he was anyways besides the heroines that had forced him to come up with this plan to begin with.

Just even thinking about all of the troubles that the heroines had caused over the past couple of days made Ronald pretty irritated.

Although it was every man's dream to build up a harem full of beautiful girls who was willing to serve them 24/7, Ronald was just considered a minor villain in this shitty world.

Even a typical average Joe would have better a chance at trying to capture the hearts of the heroines in this world.

And besides, the system told him that if he doesn't get at least a 95% completion rate before his plot of committing suicide, he was going to have to do the story over and over again until he actually successfully completed the plot.

This was also another reason why Ronald wanted to complete the plot so badly.

However, as much as he would like to continue rambling on in his head about his problems with this stupid world and why he doesn't want to stay here, he still has to deal with the current situation right now.

"Alright dumbass, don't make me say it again, come out otherwise I'm going to torture you to death." Since it seemed like the thing secretly watching Ronald didn't want to come out, Ronald spoke in a harsher tone.

About a few seconds later, a beautiful woman with long silver hair and golden eyes who was covered in armor and was holding a red glowing sword with inscriptions scribed on the blade of the sword emerged out of the darkness.

And when the woman had emerged out of the darkness, Ronald was completely dumbfounded.

Why?

Well the reason why he was shocked was because that figure that had emerged out of the darkness was none other than...

'...'

"Now who in the flying fuck are you suppose to be?"
