"All of you guys are absolutely useless! Is it that hard to find out where my son had disappeared off to? Why the hell am I even paying you guys when you guys can't even do one simple task!" Arnold Kuangge screamed at all of his subordinates that were currently present at his office at the top of his lungs and slammed his hand on his desk.

About a few days ago, one of Arnold's subordinates notified him that Ronald had been arrested and was sent to jail for two weeks because he had tried to kill someone right in a lobby of one of the biggest hotel chains in China.

When Arnold first heard about it, he was absolutely furious about the fact that Ronald had been sent to jail and called the head of the Yixin family demanding them to release Ronald from jail immediately.

At first, the head of the Jiang family denied Arnold's request to release Ronald out of jail, and argued that Ronald deserved to be in jail for trying to straight up murder someone out in broad daylight.

And obviously this didn't fit well with Arnold so both of them started arguing back and forth for almost the rest of the day, and the arguments had gotten so serious to the point that Arnold started threatening to destroy the Jiang family if they didn't release Ronald out of jail.

However, during the middle of the night while Arnold was still arguing with the head of the Jiang family through the phone, the head of the Yixin family suddenly told him that Ronald had just been released on bail.

When Arnold first heard that his son had just been released on bail, he thought that all of the threats he had said finally managed to scare the Yixin family into releasing Ronald out.

But after Arnold told them that they had made a wise decision, the head of the Yixin family claimed that it wasn't his decision to release Ronald out of jail, but rather it was because Luna Xuan, Xie Roulin, Li Wanruo, and his own daughter wanted to bail Ronald out.

Arnold was surprised to hear that one of the girls that his son loved wanted to bail him out, and although Arnold was first initially happy that Luna wanted to bail Ronald out, after thinking about it for a while, he felt like something was extremely odd.

Why would Luna, someone who absolutely despited his son and always took advantage of him, suddenly wanted to bail Ronald out?

Even though Arnold had his doubts in his head, he really didn't think too much about it for the time being.

However about a day later, one of his subordinates reported back to him that Ronald was nowhere to be found and that he had completely disappeared from the sights of all of the bodyguards who were secretly protecting him.

That was when Arnold came to the realization that not only Luna, but everyone else who had tried to bail out his son had actually cooperated with each other in order to kidnap his son.

This was the only logical explanation that Arnold had thought of because it was practically almost impossible for his son to just suddenly disappear like that without even leaving a trace behind.

Not even any of the other 10 major families could manage to pull that off.

So Arnold immediately mobilized all of his available subordinates in China to locate Ronald.

But it has been about a day now since that incident and nobody still has even discovered a single trace of where Ronald might've been.

"S-sorry sir... we really tried our best to find any possible traces of him... however we've had no luck whatsoever." One of Arnold's subordinate stammered on his words.

"Do you really think I care about how hard you guys tried? What I want is results! My son could be dead for all I know!" Arnold was extremely infuriated about the fact that even after allocating all of his resources and manpower in order to find where his son was, there was still absolutely no traces of him.

"..." Everyone that was currently present was too afraid to say anything else and all kept their heads down.

"Everyone get out." Arnold ordered everyone to leave after sighing for a little bit.

After everyone got out of Arnold's office, Arnold stared at the ceiling and started to get immersed deep into his thoughts.

When his son had first mentioned to him that he had fallen in love with the daughter of the Xuan family, for some reason, although he had heard a bunch of great things about Luna, he felt like that the two weren't meant to be and even subconsciously hated the Xuan family despite the fact that they hadn't even done anything to the Kuangge family yet.

However, when he saw the look on his son's eyes that showed that he had really fallen in love with Luna, he decided to forget about his hatred towards the Xuan family in order to support his son's love relationship.

But now that something has happened to his son, his instincts was telling him that the cause of it all had to do something with everyone who had tried to bail Ronald out.

So after thinking about it for a little bit longer, Arnold decided that if something happened to his son, no matter who is against him, he'll make them pay for it.

Even if it meant that the entire Kuangge family was going to be destroyed along the process.

"Why do you keep glancing over at my direction, Princess. You know that even if you got on both knees and begged me to let you go, I still wouldn't let you leave." While Ronald was going in and out of the cave back and forth setting up a campsite inside of the cave for the night, he noticed that Princess Sophia had kept looking at him.

So he just assumed that Princess Sophia was finding a chance for her to escape again.

"It's not any of your concerns." Princess Sophia glared at Ronald and then turned her entire body towards the cave walls.

"Uhh... alright then, whatever you say Princess." Ronald was surprised when Princess Sophia had finally replied back to him for the first time ever since they had arrived at the forest not including the part when he saved her from the tiger.

But although he didn't know why Princess Sophia decided to reply back to him now, he didn't think too much about it and went back outside to finish up gathering supplies.

After waiting for a few minutes and confirming that Ronald had left the cave, Princess Sophia slowly stood back up and then headed outside of the cave as well.

Even though she wasn't planning to try and escape again for the time being, she wanted some fresh air after being completely dragged like a rag doll on Ronald's shoulders and wanted to explore a bit of the forest without going too far away from the cave.

So just like that, she started to venture throughout the forest by herself...

However, while she was walking in the forest, she had accidentally stepped on something that looked like a stick with elliptical pupils on it.

However that 'stick' didn't appreciate being stepped on, and attacked back...

Then all of a sudden…

"AHHH!"
