Mastermind?

While Ronald was secretly having a panic attack, Ye Fan on the other side was absolutely furious with the way the two heroines were acting.

They should be fighting for him, but instead they were fighting for another man, and a brainless rich second generation nonetheless right infront of his face?

If he could right now, he would've absolutely tore Ronald's head right off of his body right now and show the world what happens when they mess with him, but he couldn't feel his body or legs at this point and knew that he was going to die if he continues bleeding out like this.

However, even with all of those things out of the way, Ye Fan still felt that the heroines weren't at fault, and still considered them to be his women.

Why? It's because he can see that both of the heroines are arguing whether or not they're on his side despite it looking like they were fighting over Ronald.

Although Ye Fan started to rekindle hope a bit, his trust for Iris dropped a significant amount and started to get wary of her.

On the premise that Iris was still on his side, he plans on having a good talk with her later and ask her why the hell she had attacked him like that.

Ye Fan knew that there was absolutely no way for someone like Iris to act like that all of a sudden and that there was someone acting behind the scenes manipulating the entire situation.

As for who? He believed it to be one of his enemy he had back overseas.

Thoughout all of the years he had spent overseas, he had constantly offended a bunch of enemies in order to get to where he is now.

And every time he was in a life or death situation that seemed almost nearly impossible to get out of, he would always trust his instincts and somehow always miraculously escape out of those sticky situations and come back a much more stronger man.

Especially that one time when he was cornered on the edge of the cliff by a bunch of hitmens and assassins that were much stronger than him at the time, in which his gut instincts was screaming at him to fall off the cliff in which he did and his shirt somehow taught a leaning branch on the side of the cliff that was next to a cave, and inside that cave had a book that showed him the ways to become much more powerful.

Anyways, that was why when he first came back to China and saw Luna and Xie Roulin at the banquet, his instincts was telling him that they would definitely belong to him sooner or later.

Even though nothing has gone correctly for him so far ever since he came back to China, he believes in his gut instincts and that sooner or later everything will be alright.

Ye Fan had also considered Ronald to be the mastermind behind the scenes as well, but he quickly scratched out that idea as he knew that there was no way Iris would even consider helping some brainless idiot like him, and besides, Iris was already acting strange right after they just met.

Although Ye Fan knew that Ronald was most likely just someone who had accidentally got caught in the crossfire and completely knew nothing about what was happening, no matter what, Ronald still has to suffer the consequences.

Nobody can offend him, Ye Fan, and get away with it!

But that wasn't as important right now, since he was slowly bleeding out and knew that he had to do something otherwise he was going to die from too much blood loss.

Just as both Ronald and Ye Fan were both panicking over what to do next, police sirens can be heard outside of the hotel lobby.

Everyone slowly turned their heads towards the police sirens and saw who stepped out of the police cruiser, and almost everyone inside the lobby had a terrified look on their faces, besides two people who had a delighted look on their faces.

Obviously, the only two who were most delighted at the moment were Ronald and Ye Fan.

Ye Fan knew that he had been saved and can at least make it to the hospital before he dies a gruesome death, and with that in mind he felt relieved and slowly went unconscious.

Ronald on the other hand was delighted because he had just remembered the fact that the next heroine was suppose to show up and arrest him for instigating a fight out in public a few hours after the fight had started, starting his next plot which was to spend a full two weeks in jail.

This finally gives time to himself to take a break and clear his head from everything that has happened so far.

Although his father could definitely bail him out of jail, he didn't.

As for the reason why?

That's because the plot doesn't allow it obviously.

When Ronald first learnt about this in his previous life, he was extremely upset that he had to spend two whole weeks in jail even though he knew it was part of the plot, and questioned his father about it when he came back.

And to his father's response, apparently his father did try to bail him out but the Jiang family didn't allow it.

That's right, the heroine who was about to arrest Ronald right now was the captain of the police department, Jiang Yixin.

Well, those don't really matter to him anymore, because...

'She's my ticket to a two week vacation away from this hellhole.'

'Although it maybe short, I'll savor every single second of it in jail.'

'Lucky me!'

'I'd like to see how the plot can possibly screw me up with no heroines this time around!'
