Reaping fisherman's profit

Azalea or Evelyn was trained to be a perfect assassin and spy by her father from a young age, who was a worldwide famous assassin himself. She idolized him a lot to extent of wanting to even surpass him and be the best in this line of work. Thus making him train her too.

Johnathan, her father was highly principled man inspite of being an assassin. He had a code that he lived by, 'never harm an innocent soul'. He only accepted the jobs if his target was a criminal, or a scum waiting to be killed. He also took in many disciples and trained them, one of them being the protagonist, Lin Hao. But he could proudly say that his best student was her daughter who had a natural affinity to it.

Evelyn had done many missions over the years and even had to infiltrate enemy's bases to stake out for the perfect kill. Along with private missions she also worked as assassin/spy for hire for the Dragon Palace, or more specifically only for Lin Hao. Initially this mission was like her regular mission where she disguises herself as a maid and spies on her targets secrets and sends them back to her contractor, the one who hired her.

This time however she felt like she was in a nightmare. She had to single handedly take care of the whole mansion and even get molested by Chu Xuan daily. Well not actually that kind of molestation but more like she was openly being taken advantage of. She had mastered how to use her beauty as an advantage but without being in any kind of physical contact. Chu Xuan was different, he knew of her identity from the beginning and even acted with her while fully taking advantage of it and abusing her, by making her work like a slave.

She was now standing in front of Chu Xuan's room as she prepared herself, after a few seconds she finally knocked on the door. "It's open, come in." Chu Xuan called out to her and she entered. She has been to his room numerous times and knew what he called her for but still she asked for the sake of it, "yes, young master how may I help you?"

"You know Eve how tired I get by working all day, Boss makes me work like I am in a black company. All my tiredness could be gone, if I could be blessed by one of your massages." Chu Xuan innocently blinked at her. Any women would melt by seeing his face right now but Evelyn knew better what and how much of 'work' he does.

She didn't reply and just went to the bed and sat down on one of the corners, Chu Xuan approached her then he used her thighs as his personal lap pillow and without any care in the world of even asking for consent he laid down facing her and closed his eyes not before irritating her by saying, "Eve your lap pillow's are the best and this fabric is too soft to the touch."

Evelyn gritted her teeth in anger as she 'gently' massaged his head. This all started a week before when she just arrived and Chu Xuan called her to her room and asked her to sit on the bed. At first she was skeptical, ready to attack at a moment's notice with her hidden weapon which she hid nicely in her skirt's belt, if Chu Xuan had any ill or lustful intentions towards her. But contrary to her train of thought he asked her to give him a head massage and before she could process this he swiftly laid his head in her lap comfortably. Upon seeing her questioning looks he just shrugged by saying, "This is most comfortable position to give a head massage."

Chu Xuan could clearly see the unrestrained killing intent in her eyes yet her face was expression less as always. He gloated inwardly as he knew she wanted to kill him for all the stuff he made her went through during the past week. He couldn't help but think,

[Ah don't look at me like that I am just your average petty villain.]

[Your thighs are too soft to resist and after all the stuff you are gonna do, that would humiliate me in the public, I am entitled to at least a lap pillow.]

Evelyn just scoffed at this but her ears perked with the next sentence. She was waiting for him to give her some valuable information about her future or her father's death as she knew well he knew all about it.

[Thinking of this she is also just another pitiful soul, her sole aim in life is to get stronger to take revenge on her father's killers.]

[And Lin Hao who is keenly aware of who is the actual killer, is fully taking advantage of it and controlling her using it.]

[Until the very end she will never know who the actual killer is and Lin Hao will let someone else to be the scapegoat for her revenge.]

[He also plays another trick on her like he does on his other subordinates.]

[He will assign them on missions which are impossible for them to complete and come out unscathed, even sometimes going as far as revealing their locations or identities to the enemies.]

[In the end he does this just to get the fisherman's profit, by coming out to rescue them at the end moment and thus gaining their impeccable trust and favorability.]

[Mostly he does this kind of stuff on his female subordinates to just sleep with them. Azalea is just too smart for it now but he already has a plan to get her.]

Hearing this Evelyn's eyes were filled with rage and she abruptly stopped the massage, got up and left. Chu Xuan didn't feel anything out of the ordinary and just left it at that.

[Huh? What happened to her? Did I tease her too much?]

Evelyn who was filled with rage just wanted to vent out somewhere but couldn't found a inlet so she sneaked out of the mansion in the middle of the night to go somewhere else. Why was she so angry? It was because she finally realized why she failed on her previous missions and barely escaped being captured.

One time she had to assassinate a foreign minister who was in Africa for a delegatory meeting. She had intel on him of sneaking out of his hotel to do some shady business outside of the city in a deserted area. It should have been an easy task for her to kill him when he was not with his security escorts to protect him. Suddenly the table turned on her as her intel turned out to be wrong and he ambushed her. It was then she was surrounded by a group of armed security personal and had no way to escape alive.

Then to her surprise again Lin Hao arrived there and rescued her from the siege. If she were some random girl, she would have fallen in love with him by now but she was a heartless women after all. She was still indebted to him for the rescue but it turned all into pure anger when she heard Chu Xuan's voice and connected the dots. Guess what? The intel she got was from none other than the Dragon Palace of Lin Hao.

If Chu Xuan knew what she was thinking he would have said, "This is normal for him to sell each others intel on to both the sides just to reap the fisherman's benefits. How else did the Dragon Palace could rise, if not for such sinister tricks."

The other thing that enraged her the most was that Lin Hao knows all about her father's death and even after doing all his dirty bidding she will never get to know the truth. In the end she was just a pawn for him to vent out his lust and do his bidding.

The next day Evelyn came back late to the Chu Xuan's mansion after venting out and clearing her mind. She thought of all the possible things she could do once calming her anger down. Retaliating against Lin Hao would be the worst idea as she knew the current her could assassinate Lin Hao if he alone, she was not a match for him on a one on one fair fight yet. He also had his mercenary organization and the most feared and powerful of his backers would be his mysterious master.

She faintly knew about the existence of people who have surpassed the limit of humans and hiding among normal people. The person who killed her father was one of such people. Lin Hao promised her to help him take her revenge with the help of his master who also has this high strength. She could go on a suicide mission but she won't be able to take revenge for her father in the end.

The only possible solution for her was to stay by Chu Xuan's side acting as his maid and complete her mission normally, as if she knew nothing. Lin Hao won't tell her the information directly so she could only rely on Chu Xuan's voice. She couldn't let Lin Hao get suspicious as she knows better than anybody that he is highly suspicious and will kill anyone who goes against him.

She was now worried that Chu Xuan would get suspicious of her as she left in the middle of night and it was late noon by when she came back. As she sneaked in through the kitchen window thinking how to explain to Chu Xuan. She found the window was not locked properly, even open a bit on the side as if on purpose for some reason. She sneaked in as she saw a note on the dinning table and when she read the note she couldn't explain how to react as she went through a plethora of emotions.
