Chapter 8

A golden door appeared on a random alleyway; a group of girls came out from it before fading away like it never existed. Leone looked around, seeing nothing too different from their world.

"Where are we, master?"

(A/N Number 1 rule in being a maid, Call your master "Master".)

Being asked this, she quickly activated one of her skill [All Watching Eyes of God], allowing her to observe any world she is in.

Although in the game it just binds players for a few seconds and is quite useless most of the time and could only be used to bully weak players but when brought to reality it can do more. The "All watching" and "God" is not only a decoration.

Though the drawbacks for such an overpowered skill is that a normal human brain can't process that much information.

Shiro isn't really human, I mean she is human biologically, but I can assume that her skills and strength far surpasses what a normal human can do. Just this bit of information can't overload her brain.

An immense flow of information appeared in her mind, quickly going through it, she found out that this world is not as bad as the last one.

Though the cruelty and brutality in this world is still comparable to the last one. I mean a world war is happening right now.

"This world is not that bad, Leone…"

Hearing this positivity relieved everyone except Esdeath and Aria. What you expect from a girl who loves fighting?

"There is only war here…"

"How is that not bad!?" shouted Mine.

A wry smile appeared on Najeda's face when she heard this, how could she not think that war is obviously nothing to her master?

Akame suddenly asked.

"Is there anything special here?"

"Yes there is…"

Everyone's eyes lit up hearing this, curiosity can be seen from their expression, even the usually calm-minded onee-sama, Sheele, was carefully listening.

"This world has magic… Magic is an energy that brings changes to the world… For example, if you want to create water out of nothing then magic is needed…"

"That's it?" asked Aria.

They all thought this is too simple. But shiro continued.

"Well… it's a lot more complicated… you need to use complex formulas for it to work… and you need a certain amount of talent to make it work…"

After she said this, they moved out of the alleyway and immediately travel to a nearby hotel. The technology level of this country is very advanced, reaching the level of Europe in the 1930s even though it's still in 1923.

There are old fashioned cars running down the streets, it looked really weird from shiro's perspective. She's used to seeing sports car or cars that look cool or good, so obviously cars in this era is ugly.

They quickly arrived at a hotel and stayed there temporarily, the loli quickly put the hotel staff in an illusion so that they get to stay there for free. It's not like they have any money when they just arrived at the world.

A few days later.

They have been gathering some information via Shiro's Sharingan to get the basic idea on what's going on in this world.

She could explain the details but that's only in the view of god because [All Watching Eyes of God] has the name god in it.

Anyway, This is the information they got…

The strongest military force in this world is the Empire, basically the United states in this era. They are advanced in both technology and magic. That's why they have the biggest mage corps unit in the world.

Because they are so strong in both the military and civilian field, the surrounding countries feel frightened at the thought of the Empire invading them, so they formed a coalition between many other countries that feel the same way.

They play by the philosophy, "Hit them before they hit you", resulting in the first world war. The Empire, being strong as it is, deployed "Plan 315".

"Plan 315" has two phases.

The first phase is deploying most troops at the border to delay the invading enemies while the second phase is deploying highly mobile troops called "The Ariel Mage Battalion".

These Mage battalions will travel from border to border, wiping out enemy troops or units, going through all the borders. This 'should' result in their victory.

Anyway, the most interesting part of the information they got is the ariel mage battalions. Obviously with Shiro's [All Watching Eyes of God], she was able to find someone being manipulated by a god or fate.

Usually being near the protagonist, antagonist, or anyone mentioned in a plot or story, the mission should be created.

So, shiro decided to join the military and at least be in the same battalion as the protagonist, of course her group of maids and her two wives will follow her.

Now at present, Shiro and her girls wore a green military uniform, walking towards the Imperial 203rd Aerial Mage Battalion camp.

Too bad the men there aren't too interested in beautiful girls as staying alive, this is a world war they're dealing with, some beauties won't ease their fear of death, you know?

"Dear~ what do you think of my outfit?" asked Esdeath.

Though she isn't a general anymore, but this doesn't affect her mood at all. When she wore this outfit, her dear's eyes were on her during the changing room so obviously she would like an honest opinion.

"nice…" saying this, shiro showed a thumbs up.

"Master~ you need to pay more attention to us!"

There is a hint of coquette in her tone as Najeda said this. The progress in this relationship is very fast, like protagonist level fast.

"Hn…"

Shiro nodded and patted the silver beauty's head. Akame pouted at this scene but calmed down when Shiro patted her head. As the loli's hand started patting at her, she showed a content smile on her face.

When the surrounding men saw this, they felt 10,000 points of damage at the blatant show of dog food. Is this retribution for choosing to be single dogs because of the war? Probably not…

A military order was sent to gather everyone at the meeting grounds. A loli about shiro's height stood in front of the neatly arranged soldiers.

Her light blue eyes stared down at them with a superior aura around her, Her dirty blond hair fluttered on the air due to the blowing wind at night.

"I am Tanya von Degurechaff, The commanding officer of the 203rd ariel mage battalion. You shall address me as 1st Lieutenant or Sir, Understood?"

"Yes Sir!" shouted everyone.

"Good. Our mission is to destroy the invading enemy force. More in-depth plans will be discussed later."

After she said this, everyone dispersed and did their own things. Some cleaned their weapons and magic equipment while some went and ate some late night snacks.

Shiro went towards Tanya to see what she's doing while her girls went to inspect the equipment given to them.

It's weird how modern magic is by using an orb and rifle with various technology and formula in it when shiro can just use her hand to cast it with a simple spell name.

"What's wrong, warrant officer Shiro?" said Tanya.

Her bright blue eyes showed annoyance. 'why is this kid talking to me?'

"I want to ask… lieutenant Degurechaff… are you cynical?" said shiro.

She is actually genuinely curious if her lieutenant is cynical or a just kuundere. The latter one is acting while the former one is actually more of doubting society or humanity itself.

"What makes you say that?"

Tanya's eyebrow was raised as she was confused. Since when did she show any cynicism?

"You seem to be like a machine, lieutenant…"

Shiro got closer to her, pinched her cheeks, and raised it up slightly.

"See… Smile more often… or else you're going to be a grumpy old man…"

After saying this, Shiro left. Leaving a very confused loli touching her cheeks which is unnoticeably red, it's the very first time a girl touched her.

Shiro quickly went to a fire camp where a beautiful brown haired girl sat on a log eating bland food, beside her is two men both listening to her complaints about the food.

"The military rations taste so horrible! I might throw up…" she said.

"You'll just have to deal with it."

"Viktoriya, this is the best food in this camp…"

As they were chatting, shiro suddenly came up from behind Viktoriya and poked her.

"Huh?"

Turning back, she found a cute and soft loli poking her back making her feel a bit itchy.

"Warrant Officer Shiro? Are you looking for me?"

Her face filled with confusion when she saw the loli.

"I heard you don't like the food…"

Her big blue eyes lit up as she found someone else to complain about the food.

"Of course I don't like the food! It taste horrible. It should be illegal to feed soldiers with this food."

Hearing the countless complaints of this foodie, she put her hand in her pocket as she got out a piece of cookie that Sheele baked and stuffed it in the foodie's mouth.

Though she did want to try and hear all her complaints, but the girl literally described the taste, texture, and composition of the ration in detail, sometimes even more detailed then some 5-star chef!

"Okay, Okay… I know it taste bad so here, have a cookie…"

The girl's eyes lit up as she felt the cookie in her mouth, the taste between the military ration and the cookie is like heaven and earth.

After swallowing the cookie, she said.

"Thank you for the cookie, Warrant Officer Shiro!"

Even though she was excited because of eating a cookie, she still kept her etiquette while thanking the kind loli.

"Then I'll be going…"

She then went back to her tent, ignored the girls understanding the magic equipments and rested.
