The Shogun, born with unmatched minds had one glaring weakness. Their bodies. Their bodies were very weak and brittle. In order to fix this, they sought out other races with strong bodies to procreate with them.
The Shogun evolved and evolved. Pooling genes upon genes. After many tries, a perfect balance between body and mind was found. After mixing with a race that had a special constitution, called the Metal body constitution, their appearance got distinct features.
Every Shogun born from that moment on had purple eyes and hair with metallic-looking skin and a buff physique. It didn't matter if one was male or female.
As the Shogun were on their last leg, they found the Demons and Angels. And the potential they saw in combining their strengths was something they have not seen, ever. The Demons are so talented in the body path, no one rivaled them, not even the Titans, who took much pride in having strong bodies.
The Angels are so talented in the soul path, they even outshine the Shogun themselves.
The Shogun knew even if the heavens of Hell and Heaven reached its full potential, the Demons and Angels could never create offspring with each other.
As the world of the Shogun was being burned to the ground in a last-ditch effort they created a seal that would hold back the forces of Chaos for a long time. They send their legacy to the Demons and Angels, send their fortune, and tied their faith with that of the heavens of Hell and Heaven.
So as not to let their bloodline die out many Shogun fled, roaming the void.
The heavens of Hell and Heaven gained the full faith of the heavens of Shogun. Finally having enough power to bless the Demons with a small amount of soul talent, giving them a more developed soul core and sometimes even more than 1 soul core.
Also, the Angels weren't left out. Receiving the blessing from their heavens. Their halo's becoming stronger, their wings gaining the ability to evolve. From only two they could evolve and gain two extra pairs of wings, to cover their soul up in a cocoon, gaining a lot of defense. Fixing their lack of body with their wings.
"And that is why we are so surprised to see you Kairy. You have the bloodline of the Shogun! And now we, the Angels and Demons, can finally return all that the Shogun had done for us." Uriel knows if she didn't use soul transmission, projecting her voice and intentions via soul undulations, as Adramalech did to Jane earlier, both wouldn't have listened or understood anything she said just now.
The reason being that Kairy and Jane are in their own world right now.
After Uriel declared that the 4 people left would be personally taught by her and Adramalech, they all were released from their boxes. Uriel told them to follow. Adramalech went off somewhere else.
They took one of the many doors in the outer wall of the dome room. They walked through a plain grey hallway. At the end of this hallway is a platform with a blue-colored formation etched on its surface.
One of the 4 people couldn't hold his curiosity. "Why didn't we teleport away?" A young man with black hair and ghostly green eyes asks.
Uriel glances back at the young man. "The gold emblem holders have been teleported with their guardians to their own towers. I told you we are currently inside the central tower. This tower is in my control as is the tower that is located in Washington DC."
"Then..."
"No, the one in Washington is being used by mine and my husbands subordinated to train the platinum emblem holders."
Uriel stepped onto the platform and beckoned for the other 4 to do so too. The formation etched in the platform lit up, reacting to the energy that was directed into the formation, from Uriel.
Everyone's vision blurred for a second before it cleared to reveal the same plain grey hallway, but this time with many doors to the sides. "Choose your room. This will be your bedroom for the coming month."
"Kairy, come with me." Uriel send a soul transmission to Kairy.
They entered a room somewhere further down the hall. Inside sat 9 people.
The moment Kairy entered she is stunned by the sight. 'If every hardship I went through in life would be the only way to get here, I would do it all over again.'
In the center of the room sat the most beautiful girl Kairy had ever seen. Silky flowing medium length black hair with a red hue, a small fair face with a small button nose, and pristine skin.
And those piercing blazing red eyes with little specs of yellow that seem to see right through you made Kairy shudder. Kairy didn't even notice the other people inside the room as she walked toward the table, never breaking eye contact, to sit across from the beautiful girl.
Kairy stretched out her hand.
"Hi, I am Kairy. Nice to meet you."
"Likewise, I am Jane."
'Confident and bright.' Kairy thought when Jane answered.
They shook hands. Kairy is the first to break eye contact to look at the hand in hers, it was much smaller while looking at Jane, she should be not much shorter than herself.
Kairy didn't know why but the felt a pang in her chest when she let go of Jane's hand.
Just as Kairy's eyes wanted to look for those crimson jade orbs of Jane's she caught herself. Her eyes widen and her posture immediately reverted back to distant and unapproachable. 'What just happened?'
Kairy suppressed whatever feeling she just felt and avoided eye contact with Jane. This didn't last long because her eyes slowly drifted back to Jane's and they began staring at each other again.
Kairy faintly remembers Uriel saying that she was going to tell a story of the past and an unknown voice saying.
"I guess we are invisible. You're envious, aren't you Elena?"
