Scouring through his workshop took quite some time to finally find a hammer that weighed over 1,700,000 jin perfectly balanced with the handle and the head. It was a vital aspect of craft to not only have the skill but the tool as well.
This in turn brings the potential of their creation as they wield the appropriate tools that they are well adapted to.
Caelum normally wields the hammer that is made out of Star Jade Essence ore that came from Dark Star in Apotheosis verse.
The special characteristic of this ore is a grain of it weighs over 100,000 mountains. Caelum had refined and condensed the ore into a hammer that weighed nearly 1,000,000 Ancient Suns.
It was obvious that he was unable to use it and fortunate enough to have a high-grade hammer stored in the workshop along with an anvil.
At this moment, he was in a deep dilemma about what materials to use for his new weapon. The list was long even after being limited to what he was able to refine and use.
....Dragon bones
….Golden Essences
….Uru
…
….World Tree wood.
"This will do."
Caelum took a wood that came from the World Tree of the Motherworld in the Apotheosis verse that had been soaked in the essence of a spiritual will of the Tree.
The material was both malleable and sturdy and it was perfect for making a weapon. Furthermore, he would be able to bring it around the public as it appears like a normal wooden sword.
Grabbing the wood instantly wraps its warmth essence of life embracing him like a mother to her child. It was neither too heavy nor too light that was precisely what he needed to make his blade.
The wood acted similar to metal instead of brittle wood and the only difference was that it had more tendency in storing Yang.
"No, I should make two blades."
He gave him an idea on ways to improve his Myriad Blade Style and this is based on Miyamoto Musashi's two-sword style. Caelum always finds that he had been lacking in his blade technique and decided to wield two swords.
"This Wood would is perfect. The Yin and Yang blade has a ring to it."
The other was also a branch from World Tree and rather than containing Yang, centered around absorbing Yin. It perfectly balances the two materials and finally found his materials only need a few more things to think about.
'What kind of sword should I make? Normally, I would make Katana but that's just an old preference, now I should think harder about what speaks to me the most."
He sat in seiza deeply contemplating the thought of writing a weapon that would become one with him turning into the essences of his blade weapon.
There are at least 100,000+ kinds of blades and at least a dozen different variants of these blades. The thoughts crossover Claymore, sabers, Katana, Odachi, Greatsword, etc.
Caelum unexpectedly entered another state of enlightenment opening his insight into blade techniques. Those great swordsmen can become legendary by the weapons they wield or the strength they possess.
Those skilled weapon users would say that everything could be a weapon but nothing could be a true weapon without creating it yourself and basking it with the blood of your opponent.
Only you who made the blade would know the characteristics of your weapon and no one else but you. This would not allow anyone to bring the essence of their technique to life but themselves.
If Caelum took the noble phantasm of King Arthur then he won't be able to bring the potential of the weapon without spending his life with the weapon.
Though, it may appear that bringing the power of weapons did not mean that his skills were the same as those in the legends. Furthermore, the weapons are made up of the faith of their legends rather than the refinement of their skills.
Caelum wasn't a saber class, which makes the reason why he's unable to bring forth the essence of their skills thus after gaining the Martial Art essence able to now bring their try potential if he's able to summon the Gate of Babylon.
He reached out into nothing trying to feel something from the empty space and entered a deep concentration trying to figure out the form of the weapon he was about to create.
Slowly felt the two blades at his hand imagining the weight, the sharpness, and gripped.
It was certainly not a Katana nor a western blade, no, the weapon before him was called a Jian that had an edge that was thinner and longer than typical Jian while the other is the same but thicker and more like normal Jian.
Their edges beyond sharp cutting through feathers without a defect that was a lot harder than you think.
Even at which speed a feather would be easily sliced having no resistance from cutting which is why it was difficult.
Caelum in the past used intent to manifest his will into the world but now it was inverse turning the world itself into his own.
He stood up after finding his answer and grabbed his hammer gripping it tightly while snatching a nearby tong.
"Luckily I was able to prepare this beforehand."
Walking up to the nearby miniature Universe Furnace that contains the wisp of the Primeval Dao Flames and began to take a bucket of spring water for cooling.
Caelum used the tong to hold the wood, placing it into the furnace that after several hours finally melted to an acceptable degree, quickly placed the molten wood into the anvil and tightly gripped the Hammer.
Cling!
An echoing cling resounded from the collision of his hammer removing the impurities and refining the material. In forging the main difference between a person who knows how to wield the weapon and those who do not are their ability to know the weakness of the weapon.
A blacksmith would obviously not know the sensation of conflict as they are more focused on forging and creating a weapon.
However, for someone who experiences both would instantly know more and remove the flaws of their creations.
Cling!! Clang!!
The second struck louder than before producing 50 echoes in the span of a few seconds. Caelum took a deep breath circulating his blood using his Firmament Paragon to control his strike that precisely hit the perfect spot.
Cling!! Clang!! Clang!!
Sweat dripped down his face that remained neutral shrouding himself with the thick layer of the Craftsman Essences. He kept striking that 1 turned to 2 and 2 turns 3 reaching the 1,000,000 strikes hammering the flaws out of the material.
He applied his Blunt Qi and Blunt technique into the hammer shattering the impurities within the wood tempering to bring out its highest quality.
The shape gradually formed into the body of the blade that was already sharp without sharpening. It was absorbing the essence of his Martial Art by the weapon that would become a part of him rather than a separate entity.
Since it was his blade which meant he was the one who could decide what adjustment was needed to his weapon. He gave a closer inspection of his blade instantly blinded by the essence of Yang. Caelum opted to smile, finding nothing but pure white deep into the spring water cooling it down.
Shhhh...
Once it had cooled down completely took the nearby leather that he prepared beforehand and created the hilt that perfectly fit his hand.
He grabbed a nearby welt stone and started to grind it against the edges of the blade sharpening it. It was slow and steady, absorbing the moment as well as the essence.
The care and detail in creating the perfect blade for his journey spent over a week of sharpening the blade that glowed softly than before.
"Done! It took me longer than anticipated but the result is worth it!"
Caelum exclaimed standing up from his position and observed the detail of his weapon that emanated a deep sense of eagerness to be used.
He only softly wielded the weapon and yet without a second thought move his hand in
Flawless manner as if the weapon itself was his limbed slicing through the wind.
"I will not name you yet only after tasting the blood of a strong opponent."
