Chapter 28 - Love and Truth

Holy shit warning this chapter contains an amateur writer trying to write a romantic scene.

Despite being mostly immortal, I still couldn't help but crave the sensation of revitalizing my body with dozen of food. It's been so damn long since I tasted any mortal food for the past five millennia.

It's pretty random having that enlightened moment but couldn't help think that some sort of plot armor is really protecting me.

Still, it was a very interesting experience, to say the least, because I could feel something within my core was growing and it was far too pure to be mana or laws. Not to mention getting that crown called [Crown of the Great sage] I'll check it out later when I recover.

"Samshiel slow down or you'll end up choking!"

I hastily used my shapeshifting ability and instantly swallow the food absorbing its nutrients, I was kinda disappointed not savoring the flavors. I couldn't help but wonder where the woman empress went and sapphire replied.

"She's currently within your inner world because cereza made a [Slave mark] seal with that [Ashura Thunderbird Empress] I couldn't help but wonder how she was able to cross the vast [Starry Void Plains]."

"Starry what now?"

"[Starry Void plains] is vast plains between the universe, to able cross it you needed to have [Heavenly Essence] to gain access if not then you would be eroded by reality-warping law in that place. Even then you needed to avoid the powerful creature residing in those gaps."

I didn't ask about how I was able to be here since my father in law most likely added some protection for me to be able to cross between plains. But still how strong do u have to get to be like that person in my enlightenment.

I was guilty for making cereza doing all the work but couldn't do anything beside helping her bit by bit with my [soul creation]

After sometimes the door burst open revealing two beautiful women. One was a light blonde who had mature and stoic beauty who radiates pride while the other was a red-haired woman who had children behind her.

"Rebecca? Charlotte?"

"Samshiel!!"

"Samshiel-Nii!!"

"H-Hey hold on-AHH!!!"

All of them jump like sapphire did and hug me tightly which made me out of breath. How the hell did I suffocating despite having a shapeshifted body!?

Seeing them in tears, I couldn't help but smile that their so many people that cared for me. The only one that cared for me was my family back on earth. I had few friends that help me when I needed them but still, they had their own life and we took our separate ways.

This made me think of my mother when she finally wakes up and seeing my sister again for five thousand and fifteen years.

"Samshiel are you alright?? Are they scars??"

"Samshiel-nii did you fight a bad guy!?"

"Hold on, don't speak at the same time I couldn't understand any of you"

"S-shut up I'm just nervous with Rebecca here."

Ah, it seems they met while I was asleep, and could guess she was rather jealous of Rebecca for being a better cook. I should really make my woman introduce each other first if I ever get more.

"Samshiel can you tell me what really happens in that fight?"

"Uhm do I need to leave?"

"No you stay Rebecca, I'll tell you all what really happened…"

I began to tell how my battle went which made the children's eyes sparkle while my lovers had a heart attack. I couldn't blame them as I almost died if not for my dumb luck.

It was extremely unbelievable how some of my abilities was doing nothing at all. I was extremely lucky that cereza was able to remove that [Profound Samsara strike] which I manage to copy thanks to my EMS but I wouldn't able to do it perfectly.

That attack wasn't really using Laws but 'Intent', I was able to found out when I was meditating in that massive void. Intent is a profound way of using their will in something like in a manhua that read called apotheosis in which the mc was able to gain a sword martial art that severs his emotion creating devastating power.

I most likely wouldn't able to gain that sword martial art without having a spark of dao. My system wouldn't probably have that considering even I couldn't buy the power of law.

"Samshiel-Nii what happens next!?"

"Then these two lovely ladies save me."

Both women couldn't help but blush while Rebecca felt a bit out of place considering Charlotte was noble, she was comparing herself with her. I looked at her and said.

"You included of course."

"B-Baka stop teasing us and tell me the truth!"

I was taken aback by Charlotte's question, despite knowing what she was going to ask I could help confirm it. I already ask why sapphire didn't change her memory and she said that it wouldn't possible because it was her [Divine form] that she saw and to remove that then she needed to destroy parts of Charlotte soul.

It was kind of bullshit but it was bound to happen anyway. I didn't want them to know before I get the spade kingdom and killing the kotodama devil getting its magic.

"W-what do you mean?"

"You know what I mean!"

"Samshiel what does miss roselei asking?"

"Ah…it can't be helped then, I was planning to tell you the truth but to happen so early…For now I'll do this."

I then used my EMS to make the children fall asleep shocking Rebecca. If I'm going, to tell the truth, I needed to be careful who is listening, the children tends to tell secret.

"What did you do Samshiel!"

I have never seen Rebecca be so angry to be before, despite being my lover she cares more deeply about her sibling and I fully understand that.

"I'm sorry for doing that but I only made them faint as what I'm going tell you is absolutely confidential and I want you to first know that I will be facing many powerful enemies unlike you ever dream of."

Both tentatively listen as it was the first time they saw me get serious as I typically laid back when it comes to them.

"I want to you decide either to follow me and learn the truth or stay here and forget about me…I'm sorr-"

Suddenly Charlotte stood up, slapping my face echoing on the room and making completely shocking her raging eyes.

"Nonsense of course I follow you!"

I could feel her rage was boiling as she clenches her hands tightly as if it would bleed any minute.

"I wouldn't have asked if I didn't want to follow you! You know that I love you and I don't care if I have to abandon everything because of your my everything!"

"That's right samshiel even if I'm just a common girl I wouldn't hesitate to follow you, the man who helped me when I needed it the most."

"When we first met you said that I shouldn't stand alone and it's okay to rely on others but was that word nothing!?"

My heart was aching seeing them say their feelings towards me, I should have trusted them that they wouldn't hesitate. perhaps I was afraid of losing something again.

"I-I…alright I tell you the truth, and the truth Is…I'm not from this world."

Both seem confused from what I just said as it was foreign for them to understand that they are other humans in another world. I began to further explained about me and sapphire on how we came into this world. Both didn't hesitate to believe what I said.

"I-I couldn't believe you're really from another world and sapphire is a goddess!?"

"Are you saying that you're going to bring us with you!?"

"That's the plan and also helping you get stronger."

"But I'm not really blessed with much mana unlike all of you."

"Hahaha don't worry I'll help grow stronger beside mana isn't the only source of energy in this vast world."

"A-Alright I will try my best."

I gave tender smile to her while caressing her hair. I already plan to make her a healer as I don't want her to fight on the frontlines.

"Hey don't just ignore me samshiel."

After that day my relationship with them had grown stronger than ever while also helping them grow stronger. I turn my gaze on the nearby window and stare at the sunset while thinking that despite growing stronger I knew this journey had just began.
