Chapter 218 - A grain of dust

Within the secret realm of the Gu Clan, where every elder and important people were gathered in one room, listening to the report of their subordinate. Their faces held different kinds of expressions from anger to dread and fear. 

They could not fathom that their plan would be foiled by a single man and took their young mistress with them. This causes everyone to feel overbearing pressure weighing into them. Those who were weak fell into the hard floor coughing blood while those strong enough were barely standing.

"M-My daughter….My daughter!! You all told me nothing will happen to her which is why I agreed to your plan!"

Their patriarch's booming voice that contains immeasurable anger felt his killing intent. He felt immense regret that his daughter had been kidnapped by an unknown individual.

Fear overwhelmed him, he was afraid that his daughter would be used in a heinous act and cursed himself for letting the voices of his clan take his decision. The man wondered how his wife would react to knowing her own daughter was used for their ambition.

He would not be able to face his wife from what he had done. The man wanted to tear everyone to shreds without remorse yet contain himself knowing it would do no good. The only thing that could calm him was to find his daughter and kill the one who took her.

"Did this person truly say that he'll personally visit our Gu realm?"

"Y-Yes patriarch! He told me that we do not need the key to open an ancient tomb and acquire the Emperor Flame. He would visit and shall offer a proposition as well said ``Do not worry about your mistress, I'll take care of her.."

Hearing his words gave everyone a wide array of emotion but more striking was that this person knew the ancient tomb and even what was inside of it. They only knew that this tomb held secrets about how to become a Dou Di.

Meanwhile, their patriarch did not feel any bit of reassurance from his words and felt more infuriated that this person took him as a fool to trust his words.

However, their thoughts were disrupted when a human-sized portal appeared in the middle of the room. Everyone was perplexed by the sudden occurrences and instantly prepared to attack. 

It took a few seconds before the sound of footsteps was heard and what came made them confused. What came was a middle aged man with long light red hair and goatee. He had his hand behind his back while observing his surroundings unaffected by immense energy gathered in the room.

"Forgive me for the intrusion, My name is Antares, a servant sent by my lord. Is this the Gu realm of the Gu clan?"

He spoke in an elegant manner yet was arrogant while looking down at everyone. This person was the Monarch of Destruction, an artificial lifeform that Caelum created using Life and Soul creation skills back in black clover world.

This artificial lifeform is similar to computer AI or a synthetic android and is not truly alive. With this reason in mind, Caelum Life and Soul creation are not abilities that can produce True life and soul. He would have created soul energy if he can but what Soul creation skill does is create a fake soul with mana. 

Regardless, Soul and Life Creation became innate which is why it disappeared from his status. Caelum had the Dao of life and soul which is higher than it. 

The monarch had been transformed to look exactly how their counterpart appeared excluding Ymir and Iron body monarchs. As a side note, the bloodline that caelum gave them was not suited for him which is why he abandoned the idea of replicating it.

Meanwhile, everyone heard his introduction quickly increase their killing intent even more yet the intruder only swayed his head instantly because those intent to kill foresaw their own death.

The man, Antares, released his dragon aura that caused their primal instincts to be brought forth. His strength was drawn from his master which is why what he sees is able to be seen by him.

"If you wish to continue such futile action then come and face me. Unfortunately, I don't have the privilege to do such a thing and have been given a task to eliminate another clan."

"Tell me what reason you interfered with our plans and took my daughter away!?"

Their patriarch spoke despite the killing intent weighing over him and seeing the monstrous gaze of a mighty dragon. The person only took something out of nothing and held three bottles made out of jade. He instantly knew it was pills made from an alchemist yet did not know their effect.

"My master's ways are beyond my understanding and as for your daughter, he had taken interest in her innate talent and took as a disciple."

"To be his disciple? Who is this master of yours and what is that three bottle you hold?"

"These three bottles are pills which provide your clan member to become Dou Saint even if said person is a Dou disciple."

Hearing his explanation causes everyone to be silent, unable to accept the words he uttered. Antares only raises his eyebrow seeing their doubts.

"I understand your doubts, However, what I said is the utmost truth. My master power is beyond your understanding and showing his good will to you."

Everyone's gaze immediately turned into greed wishing to acquire the jade bottle and one of them was foolish enough to try attacking Antares. He moved in blinding speed, slashing his swords towards the unmoving antares, pushing a gust of wind. 

They waited in anticipation of the results only to shudder seeing not only the intruder unharmed but plunge his hand into their fellow clansmen in his chest. Everyone instantly felt despair when antares spoke menacingly.

"How foolish humans can be. They are driven by greed and ambition causing them to be blind. I shall give you power if I truly wish for it."

Antares' dragonic eyes glint, letting the foolish man feel the utmost fear by blasting him with his Draconic energy. Everyone was bewildered by the energy that was foreign to their world. It gradually turned the man into nothingness.

It was too fast for everyone to even process what happened. The person was far too strong for them to understand as the one he killed was a five star Dou saint.

"W-What are you!? To easily kill a dou saint like it is nothing!!"

"Does telling you what I am would change anything? I wasted far too much time, I shall leave this and continue my task. Farewell, foolish human."

Antares only produces a table placing the jade bottle leaving the dumbfounded clan on their own. Everyone was far too bewildered from what just occurred.

"S-Should we test the pill he left?"

"No, that person had made a fool and disgrace of our Gu clan!"

"What!? Wouldn't it be a waste of this opportunity!?"

Upon regaining their senses, everyone instantly began bickering at what they shall do with the jade bottle. Some suggested using it as this will greatly improve their clan while few refused due to their pride. In the end, the Gu clan became chaotic from the sudden interference of Antares.

While they argued, Antares headed his way into countless realms and lands until reaching his destination. He hovered in the sky with his wings spread and hands behind his back. The place had an ominous atmosphere emanating from the soil of the land. 

The smell of agonizing life and miserable scream could be heard by the whistling wind. This realm belonged to one of the five ancient clan, the Soul clan.

"This is the Soul clan that my master told me to eradicate? How vile….This crystalized soul shall have some value to my master."

He narrowed his eyes while it glowed from the dark while behind him appeared a red portal and what came out were mighty enormous dragons that could easily destroy small worlds. 

The killing intent covered the whole soul clan and caused everyone to investigate only to witness enormous lizards with wings. They quickly locked their gaze into the middle age man floating, uncaring from their killing intent.

"W-Who are you and dared trespass our soul realm!?"

"I am Antares, The destruction monarch. Are you the king of this place?"

"Destruction monarch? A king of this place? What if I am?"

"It means you're nothing more than a grain of dust."
