Chapter 115 - Lost

Calypso mentioned how her age was only 84. That was a child in the eyes of an elf that lived thousands upon thousands of years and mentioned an elder council and being stronger than them. Calypso explained what she did and how she enjoyed what she discovered in Alex's mind, who refused to not tell anyone and mumbled how Ulysses, the company went too far.

Calypso even suggested to Nova if she wants to try who quickly declines and exclaimed she doesn't want her privacy to be invaded while Caelum made her realize she was doing the same thing with hacking. He chuckled seeing her reaction telling her it was fine as long she doesn't make it a habit again. 

"Hacking? Is it a sort of magic?"

"Kind of. Have you been to the world of machines before?"

"I have. Why?"

"Well in that world, using technology and hacking is the key point. Treat it a smagic I guess."

Fundamentally, Magic and Science are different since one was physical manipulation while magic is spiritual manipulation. They are some science that appears magical because of how technologically advanced certains things can be.

'Cereza, is there any Absolute science or something?'

[ There is. They are mostly extra dimensional being who use science. ]

He inwardly nodded as Alex asked if Calypso could form a portal as the sky began to turn dim once again letting Caelum sense something familiar. He saw Calypso create a bluish portal that she didn't know where it leads since it had been a while that she had used her power. Caelum could easily transfer them but didn't want to reveal it since they'll ask more questions and couldn't keep bullshiting. 

As they were talking, something's coming with incredible speed as Caelum caught a spear that he quickly took a stance as the girls heard the sound of his weapon and turned to find Caelum in stances as they saw someone appeared before them.

A tall person wearing a skull mask and japanese armor wielding a katana emanating a dreadful aura looking at them menacingly. 

"I-Is that! Thanatos!!" ( Nova )

"Shit! I didn't expect him to be here!! How is that even possible when this is a private server!!" ( Alex )

The girls recognize the unknown assailant who stared down at them and felt their body quiver in fear with Nova immediately pointing her weapon while Alex prepared to use a spell as Calypso watched on guard as well.

"You."

He pointed at Calypso rushing towards her but was intercepted by Caelum who tried to pierce him using his weapon and stepped back while Caelum stood between him and Calypso. 

"Sorry pal, no touching. Have some respect for women, will yah."

"This is the second time. You will not take this chance from me."

Caelum just scoffed using [ Space Shundo ] and was a bit surprised when he did the same thing maintaining the same speed as him. He just smirked and clashed, letting the woman watch with the spectacle unable to catch their movement.

"What the!? How are they able to move so fast!?" 

Alex exclaimed dumbfounded by the scene, hardly keeping up with her eyes and jaw dropped.  

"Woah! Go, Caelum! Beat his ass!"

Meanwhile Nova was just more into seeing him fight rather than question how he was able to move that fast. Calypso on the other hand was interested in seeing him and realized his enemy may be one of the immortal accomplices. 

'Maybe he can help my people but I have to find them first. I wonder how long I was trapped in that accursed box!'

Calypso curses those who wrong her looking at Caelum hoping that he can help her in the future, witnessing him show power unlike anything she had seen before. 

Thanatos was being pushed back by Caelum and was decapitated yet didn't fall and kept attacking him while Caelum started to notice that it's body was strange seeing how it was regenerating in rather unusually having an immortal body. The [ Hercules Method ] gave him see through vision to the human body and the anatomy of Thanatos was clearly unordinary. 

"I had enough of this!"

In that moment, Caelum saw him use something that forced him to step back and witness Thanatos vanished without a trace. He was disappointed since he's been having fun in the fight and noticed how he had a weapon that could actually harm him in the game. Only harm, not kill. 

'That's certainly something. Well, guess I'll meet him again in the future. Maybe it's my luck that I let him be. But whatever the case he won't do anything past me.'

He glances at the spear and just stores it in his inventory before walking back towards the others where he was greeted by Nova. 

"My gosh! That was sooo cool!! Where is Thanatos? Did you kill him?"

"Unfortunately no, he escaped and used something to bypass me."

"How did you move that fast? I barely followed and I can't deny that it was badass." ( Alex)

"I also find it interesting how well you fought. It was at least close to our top enforcers."

Caelum just laughed it off saying he doesn't know and was enjoying eternum the moment he got it. Alex said it was bullshit but didn't press any further and was just amazed by how well he fought Thanatos who is known to be the strongest player. He was pleased to hear her praise him. 

Soon enough, Calypso formed yet another portal that this time jumped step inside. They soon found themselves in a random place that only had bioluminescent mushrooms. Calypso apologizes since she still doesn't have a firm control over magic but suggests trying again.  

He created another portal still unsure where it leads and Caelum just stepped inside, finding himself in a Japanese room.

"Nova? Alex?"

Caelum spread his sense to find the two and only found Calypso with him. It was unfortunate that he couldn't through dimension and only space.  

"I'll try to sense the two. If I can't then…we are going to continue our journey without them."

"Harsh but logical."

Caelum didn't refute that they might be in harm knowing that they are well capable of protecting themselves. He sat down letting her work; he did the same thing but for him focused on trying to recite the [ Sacred Scripture ] to continue his growth even if it doesn't let them breakthrough to his limits. 

Time passes unnoticed, feeling a sense of tranquility unifying. Normally when he is cultivating he uses time manipulation to increase the flow when he is in mindscape to cultivate having spent at least a few hundred years inside his mind in a span of a minute. 

He exhaled releasing a dense energy opening his eyes being stared at by Calypso who seemed to have finished searching for the two. 

"What are you? The two don't know but I'm certain you're not human. My power can sense that you are no mere man."

Calypso said since she was the nexus of the game it seems to connect to every server and Caelum is an enigma since he is not held back by any place.

"I have my own secret as you. However, if you're curious why don't we form a contract where one is forced to answer a question."

"Hmm, I still can't trust you. So thank you but I have to decline."

"Well, here. If you ever change your mind, use this to contact me."

Caelum used his [ The Benevolent Dreamer, Khatid ] forming a bracelet by churning the [ Dream ] energy creating something out of his thought, easily creating an item in that space. Even if the metaphysical space of the game shouldn't be an issue since it's likely part of Earth Multiverse. Calypso witnesses him use a foreign energy creating a golden bracelet out of thin air. 

"Don't worry, I didn't put any suppressor and even added some protection runes. This will allow you to contact me if you need anything."

"You're truly tempting me."

Calypso said and reluctantly took the bracelet, feeling compelled that his words were to be trusted but still made sure she was making the right choices. Caelum smiled when she accepted it feeling that she at least took his word with some merits. 

"I am really curious who these immortals you've mentioned but that can wait. The two might be searching for us, as well."

She nodded as they hopped inside the portal again finding themselves to a medieval server then heard a familiar voice his attention to Alex.

"Thank goodness you're safe. Wait, where's Nova?"

They look around, finding that Nova was missing and Alex explains how they were being chased down by an angry mob until they found a portal appeared in front of them and immediately jumped. Calypso apologizes telling them that she might have made a mistake and sends her into another unknown server and suggests that she find her even though she's exhausted.

Caelum decided to be the one to find her and just make a portal for him where Nova could be. Calypso asked if he was sure about It in which he nodded while Caelum asked what he's going to do after they departed informing that she doesn't have a place to go in which Alex gave helping hand since she knows the server they were in and could help her find an Inn. Calypso was grateful for her offer while Alex happily obliged.

"Well, the day was really something. Too bad we didn't do anything about it. We didn't expect the thing we were looking for to be you, Calypso. Guess it was for nothing, Alex."

"You're kidding right!? Today has been the most Craziest, thrilling, coolest and definitely the most dangerous eternum session I've ever had."

"Well, get used to it since I always attract danger."

"I'd be lying if I didn't enjoy it a bit."

She seemed to smile more often after their game which made Caelum at least think that the day was not a waste especially how his [ Harem Parameter ] fills with new levels especially how Calypso was added to it. 

"Well, I hope to see you at school."

"Yes, you will. Maybe I won't miss a class anymore."

"Oh because of me?"

"Of course not, it's my cocky brother. Someone has to put him in his place."

Caelum laughed it off before Calypso cast her spell into him and soon found himself in an Egyptian theme server. He spread his Divine sense immediately finding Nova and quickly headed his way to find her alone and unconscious then spotted a statue of a cat that had some strange vibe.

'An artifact?'

Having the [ Divine Artifact Refiner Knowledge ] it was easy for him to see what the item was and became curious about what it was. He didn't even hesitate to pick it up knowing that it won't have any effect on him. It was then a computer panel appeared in front of him surprising him.

[ Side Mission ]

[ Objective: Pretend to be asleep and get tied up. Wait for a moment until the person asked for Nova to give you blowjob. Then fuck her too. ]

[ Reward: Omicron Manual ] 

[ Penalty: Come on free Blowjob and Seggs! ]

Caelum's mind went blank for a moment when he saw it and looked at Nova then to the Mission. He was reluctant to do it since he felt it would ruin his chances with Nova but heard Cereza.

[ Come on Darling! No need to hold back. You should stop thinking about this and let it happen. ]

'But, I don't want to traumatize her.'

[ Fufufu, who decided that? I think she will likely enjoy it too. I promise. ]

'Alright fine. But if things go the way I don't like then I'll stop.'

He heard her giggled before pretending to fall unconscious then opened his eyes feeling some binding wrapped around his arms. Few moments later Nova woke up confused trying to recall what happened. 

"Caelum you're here? What's going on?"

"It seems someone set a trap."

"Well, I didn't expect it to work quite well."

A voice was heard as they turned to find a woman wearing an Egyptian theme outfit that rather accentuated the essential. 

'Well, I don't regret where this is going.'
