Eavesdropping

Like most places in the Ice Palace sect region, the buildings in Frost Lake City were made of ice blocks.

They gleamed in the morning sun, creating a clean and cool atmosphere that could not be found in other places.

"Where do you want to go first?" Yu Nianzhen asked as soon as they entered the city.

Hearing this, Jiang Yue did not answer.

Instead, he pulled Yu Nianzhen and walked towards one of the taller buildings in their vicinity.

"Two guests, where do you want to sit?" A waiter asked when the two entered the restaurant.

"The open hall on the second floor." Jiang Yue answered.

"Please follow me."

With that, Jiang Yue and Yu Nianzhen followed the person to the second floor.

After taking a window table, the waiter left them with a menu.

"It's not lively enough." Jiang Yue complained.

"It's too early." Yu Nianzhen comforted and rubbed his husband's hair.

"I wanted to eat and listen to gossip."
