His lack in trust in me. Why do others think that my heredity has any connection to my strength? To who I have become. To what I have accomplished. What have I possibly done to become an outcast, a spectacle to this city? I don't understand the conflicted opinions of my father by my family or by other elves. Is that my fault? Hello everyone! Happy December :)

A couple weeks ago, my son had been sick. He has definitely recovered and playing to his heart's content. Unfortunately, that sickness has made it around the family onto me. I'm sorry! I will be postponing the chapter release until the new year.

Within this month, I started a new job, families are coming down for the holidays, other families are leaving for their own holiday-y escape, and now I have this sick going on. I'm going to take the next few weeks taking care of my family's health and enjoy the winter spirit.

For anyone who has been feeling down or feel sickness coming over you soon. This does work for me. Everyone is different. Many cultures have different versions of similar drinks.

I try to drink Golden Milk: milk, turmeric, pepper, ginger, and a sweetener (honey). Like I said, it's popular. Google can help with recipe too. All the ingredients have positive qualities, with moderation.

My plan tomorrow is to make a simmer pot for the household. I think the plan is throw some oranges, cinnamon, cranberries, lemon, and if I can ask my grandmother for star anise.

Again, I apologize for the break. I'll be back soon! I hope everyone has a great winter celebration & a happy new year.

Be safe, stay warm, & stay hydrated.
