Training Pokemon

For a while I have read over all the cut and paste concepts on the Pokemon world trying to make the host strong as well as his Pokemon using the gamer system. I understand it's a dangerous world and you want to give the MC extra plot Armour. I thought about this and realized that the host would rarely fight in matters that needed strength except in situations that dealt with Legendaries. If that becomes par for course though in the story. What's the point of making this a long term novel that deals with the growth of a character. I would've set this as a short novel that deals with an overpowered MC that one shots all situations that need it. Also I wish to point out that Pokémon have sentience. The world also has abundant food with berries being around and the things that happen in Pokedex's in the games, I'm gonna try to stay partially away from as this is rated at a rating lower than 18+. (That's mostly because I find cursing unnecessarily to be just plain bad etiquette. I can understand if it happens when something bad occurs and you can't control your mouth. But flippant use of them just to annoy people is just that. Annoying...) The original story is also about friendship, journeying, and finding a purpose in the world they're in with their friends. Sabrina, Dawn, and May deal with contests. While Ash, and Iris love battling. Brock even finds a purpose on his journey as a breeder fully going into the field instead of just pursuing it as a side hobby like before when he had to take care of his brothers. As such I find it, while not useless for writing. A complete disappointment and withdrawal from the nature of what this world represents. What with hope and friendship being these main parts, and if you're fighting every creature you meet into submission. How is it possible for you to truly bond beyond servant and subject. Another thing is inside this story I will not limit the host to having 6 Pokemon on his being. No this would only apply to gyms or competitions as these kinds of things would require a more formal structure. I have decided on a new idea for this system that instead focuses on the Pokemon themselves. This includes knowledge, buffs, items and so on. The system will be less of a RPG stat layout directly as this still exists. But the stats come from training with the other stuff like others would train in a real world. The exception being Buffs. He can also use the system to build a utopia for his Pokemon. He can even slow down the time inside to gain larger training time later on for specific species which grow slower like Ninetails or various Ghost Pokemon. Enough of this Synopsis and rant though and on to the story. Ps. It's obvious, but I don't own this image. So I take no credit for it. And if someone eventually would like to make an image for this story I will thank you. Sincerely. PPS: Comments help me keep my want to write. When I notice there's not a lot of comments. I second guess my writing, like a lot. Probably for a good reason as I know I like to over analyze things, and I KNOW that's gonna influence my writing. I can see it deeply ingrained. So if you guys like my style please comment.

Chapter 34- Fossil Museum Pt.2

I couldn't slow down the beating of my heart. Just moments ago I had dashed into the Pokemon Lab expecting it to be easy to steal from, after all I had sneaked in during the day. Cursing who ever made the guards patrol I went further inside the building, corner to corner, to bookshelf to air vents slowly going to where I needed to.

"Whats that smell." I mumbled to myself as I went further in. Eventually the smell grew so strong I took a detour to find out what in the world could cause such a thing. With that I traveled and took a turn when I ran smack dab into something. Waking the pile of sludge up I immediately retreated hoping I could get away. Thankfully or unthankfully that's when the tile of the air unit underneath me gave out plummeting myself in front of a horde of sleeping Grimer.

Feeling my heart in my chest I looked every direction for a way out. Seeing none tears from the thoughts of being captured rose up. Feeling the emotions Emblaze broke out to see what was going on.

"Ding. Swoosh."- (not sure how to describe the sound of a Pokeball.)

With that my emotions leveled out as I knew I was screwed. Grabbing Emblaze I gave him a tight hug like I had done the first time I met him. Tears slid down my face, and I ran. I knew if I was captured I would have to say goodbye to my family for a long time.

Run, Run, Run,Runrunrunrun. My word incoherent from each other were nothing but a mess. Running into a new room I finally made it to the room full of fossils feeling unending joy I started pushing on the doors to close them. With more swooshes all my Pokemon came out and helped me and with a tap the door was closed and locked.

Joy overcame me as I sit down heaving what little air I had. My family got to their rescuing job saving the fossils by taking them into my small dimension. Getting up as well I followed them in with the last batch. Laughing I noticed the downfall of this company to be their own doors being so safe.

Laying down I felt a wave of tiredness overcome me. With that I fell asleep knowing I had done a good thing. Of course tomorrow's head lines would be saying something else, but to me a new chance at life was an important thing. I was grateful for it.

Waking up in the morning I messed around with my family for a long time . Eventually evening came and I had to stop the fun, now it was time to escape.

Appearing back in the room I noticed I was immediately in a crowd of people who came to look at what happened taking off my mask I was grateful that none saw me appear. Now slightly blending into the crowd I slowly made my way around the building acting like the other people around me. Eventually I turned off from the group and went out side.

The smile on my face widened as I made my way back to the Pokemon center. The only part I found I hated from the experience was needing to become a thief to do something good. That's when I walked into a crowd of crazy acting people. I couldn't help but think over why all these crazy experiences kept happening to me.
