(Side Story)Chapter 1: In the Past

Zou Fan was the only Chinese prisoner in the prison, and as a result, he was frequently bullied by the American inmates. Zou Fan not only tried to adjust to prison life but also had to fight against the prejudices that other prisoners held against him.

Zou Fan did not resort to brute force to solve any problems. Instead, he focused on educating himself and staying physically strong. Day by day, he began to earn the respect of other inmates.

However, one day, a banned item was found in Zou Fan's room during a search by prison guards, resulting in him receiving a disciplinary punishment. This event reignited the prejudices of other inmates towards him.

After serving his disciplinary punishment, Zou Fan was still in prison and was subjected to even more bullying by American inmates. However, he decided to change the course of events.

Zou Fan spoke with other inmates to try and understand their prejudices against him. Eventually, other inmates realized the cultural differences that led to their prejudices against him.

Zou Fan managed to earn everyone's respect by finding common ground with other inmates. Other inmates chose to become friends with him and spend their time in prison together. Zou Fan showed that overcoming difficulties and differences in prison was possible.

Zou Fan's experience of being bullied in prison was not the first time he had experienced it. In fact, Zou Fan had also been bullied in his youth.

Born in a small town in China, Zou Fan was a different child from a young age. From a younger age, other children made fun of him, pushed him around and beat him up. Although Zou Fan was a good student at school, he failed to make friends.

This led him to become introverted and dedicate himself to education, especially martial arts. Over the years, Zou Fan specialized in Kung Fu and other martial arts and gained self-confidence.

However, being bullied by American inmates in prison brought back the traumas of his past. Zou Fan had to deal with the strong emotions from his childhood. These bullying incidents taught him that relying solely on martial arts to survive in life was not enough.

Zou Fan adopted a different approach and tried to understand the prejudices and bullying of other inmates. As a result, he managed to overcome his own past traumas by working with other inmates.
