(Act 2)Chapter 9: Looking for job

He received a few pieces of clothes and a few dollars from the prison, knowing that the money wouldn't be enough. At most, it would be enough for a daily hotel stay, and he was very hungry. The sounds coming from his stomach were so loud that people who heard it were looking at him strangely. He had forgotten to look around in shock at his release, and the surroundings had changed so much that he was speechless.

He looked down and made a strange noise when he found a newspaper, he immediately picked it up. He continued to search for a hotel around with an empty stomach and found an old daily hotel. He paid almost all the money he had, and only had $2 left. He lay on the bed, took out the newspaper he had pocketed, and started looking at job advertisements.

He applied for all the ads he could find from the hotel's phone, and when the employers found out about his record, they all reacted the same and hung up on him as if they were mocking him. Zou Fan thought about what he could do and started calling all the numbers he remembered from 10 years ago. By this time, it was getting dark, and none of the numbers he remembered gave any results. Now, Zou Fan couldn't sleep, he had neither a job nor money. He took his jacket and went outside.

While walking, he saw a skinny child who seemed to be asking people something, and people were a bit uncomfortable. When the child saw the big-bodied Zou Fan, his eyes lit up and he suddenly asked, "Brother, I am looking for workers for my uncle's construction company, would you like to join?"
