"What the hell? Where is Tyr?"
Þunor wakes up on the church floor with a bunch of priests around him and his brother who is lying on the bed with bandages covering his left arm.
Þunor was about to jump from his bed to check his brother condition when a deep voice comes from the other side of the church, it was the Captain Gruffydd.
"Don't worry about your brother he might have lost his left hand but he will be alright"
Þunor was relieved since he was thinking that his brother would be dead, he was surprised that his brother was was recovering so quickly.
Gruffydd continued to explain
"We were called by the Cathedral to send someone to deliver a message to you, the holder of Jarnbjorn the Battle Axe"
Þunor was speechless.
"We received a premonition today that someone who deals with fire would awaken an artefact outside of the tower and that they would face a hard battle the moment they hold it"
"We were thinking that your brother would be the person mentioned in the premonition that's why we managed to find you guys so quickly after this disaster, but now that I look back you are a blacksmith like your older brother."
Þunor look at the Axe that was laying by his side and got really angry.
"This is all your fault you stupid Axe, if it wasn't because of you my brother wouldn't have lost his hand."
In the middle of this tantrum Gruffydd intervenes. "Don't blame the Axe for what happened today, this was all meant to happen. But now you need to move on for this incident because this Axe will be your partner once you go the academy."
The academy was a place meant to train the next generation of Tower Climbers, Knights and Mercenaries. Normally people are only allowed in the academy once they turn 17 and Þunor was only 15 and half, sometimes they open exceptions for kids from Nobel families or kids that have exceptional talents neither of them was the case for Þunor since he was only slightly above average in every single aspect.
"It doesn't matter how talented you are, you'll still need to enrol in the academy."
Þunor didn't want to hear anymore but Gruffydd continued.
"Right now you are dangerous to everyone in this city since you have a magical weapon and you don't know how to properly use it or control it, we still don't know what your Axe is capable of so the best thing for you to do right now is to leave the city and train under Rankers in the academy, because if something was to happen they would be able to restrain you."
With this Gruffydd left telling Þunor that he needs to get ready in five weeks.
Þunor wanted to argue this man but he couldn't he looked at his brother who was still sleeping and said:
"You were supposed to wake up now and say that you would train me for the time being"
His brother didn't answer, he just kept sleeping.
