Combat Sense

In heaven, like a forest, an odd scene could be witnessed. A giant man stood holding a rusty sword. He wore black pajamas and had nothing on his feet. He did not appear to have been injured, but his black pajamas were somewhat damaged.

The two Hobgoblins stood in front of him, accompanied by some goblin warriors. They all wore plate armor. The hobgoblins held great swords in their hands while the goblin warriors held long swords.

Their plate armor was tattered and pierced, judging by their shape. As if they had been fighting for a while, they looked somewhat out of breath. On the other hand, giant man looked a little sweaty and slightly exhausted. But he looked very excited, a wide grin spreading across his lips.

On the floor several goblin warrior corpses could be seen, indicating that they succeeded in making the man warm up.

Tyler was already fighting with goblin groups for a while. After his fight with two goblin warriors and a goblin shaman, he headed into deeper parts of the forest. After heading deeper into the forest he fought with many groups that included hobgoblins, goblin warriors, goblin shamans, and goblins.

Although he still didn't get what he wanted, Fireball! He was happy to get some combat experience while fighting these groups.

The goblin Shamans he encountered didn't make such a disgusting spell like that though which he was happy with it.

It already has been a while since he fought and annihilated these groups. As he went deeper into the forest, the groups he encountered became stronger and stronger.

Thanks to these groups becoming stronger as he went deeper, he gradually improved his swordsmanship, although he didn't get stronger physically. His swordsmanship and combat sense was developed by fighting these groups.

After surpassing ''the man who never held a sword'' level, he was gradually using his whole body while using a sword. Even though he didn't get stronger physically, he was learning to use his body better and stronger.

He was using his sword and body more efficiently, trying to spend the minimum stamina he could and kill these goblins in one strike by striking their weak points.

Because he was trying to control his strength while killing goblins without a single strength to go waste, he was spending more stamina than usual. He might be spending more stamina than usual right now but when he mastered it he would be much stronger while fighting against large groups or individuals.

Also, he found it much better to use minimum strength to kill these goblins. He was looking like a barbarian before when he killed them by just mindlessly striking them silly. But finally, he was looking like a swordsman!

The group he faced right now was much stronger and larger than other groups he encountered. Although he didn't know if it was because he was starting to develop combat sense, or because of instinct he knew that a very strong predator was behind this group, he likely guessed as The Boss of Tutorial, Goblin Chieftain.

Since he didn't want these exhausted goblins to recover, he shot like a meteor at one of the Goblin warriors, appearing below its small head and piercing its chin and not stopping until the tip of the sword exited from its skull, he twisted and pulled his sword back as fast as he killed the goblin warrior.

In an instant, he shifted his position appearing in front of another goblin warrior and repeating the same action he did before. He was like the wind, performing a deadly sword dance cutting through all the goblin warriors until only two Hobgoblins remained.

These hobgoblins were trying to stop him with their great sword while he was busy killing goblin warriors, and spending their stamina in the process made them extremely exhausted.

Though none of their attempts worked, they only helped him by accidentally striking two goblin warriors leaving them injured while trying to hit him.

One of the hobgoblins swung his great sword, unlike before when Tyler would normally swing his sword and send the hobgoblin a few steps back, he dodged by taking a single left step to the side.

Instantly appearing on Hobgoblin's side, he pierced hobgoblin's lower jaw and didn't stop until the tip of the sword finally pierced through his skull. The other hobgoblin tried to swing his great sword at Tyler.

Tyler grabbed the dead hobgoblin's body and used it as a meatshield to block the great sword for him. Before appearing at the other hobgoblin's side and decapitating him.

After decapitating the hobgoblin, he would normally head deeper into the forest. However, his instinct was screaming that Chieftain was here. As such he decided to rest by sitting down on the ground for a while before fighting with the Boss.

Just as he sitted a system notification sound came.

[Ding!]

[Skill, Combat Sense (F-), is created.]

[Combat sense (F-)

It allows you to focus on the combat around you. Your chances of sensing hidden attacks increase. Your five senses have been amplified. Your reaction time decreases. It gives you a sixth sense.]

[As a result of a new skill, your senses are amplified.]

[Your skill, Swordsmanship (F-) has been upgraded to Swordsmanship (F).]

After the system notification sounds ended, he felt a little bit stronger, while his five senses were amplified multiple times.

Although he didn't need a glass, contact lens, or eye drops. His sigh was not extremely good either. After acquiring combat sense, his sight was enchanted to the extreme almost as if he could even see trees around them in their finest detail.

It was not just his sight his other senses were enchanted too. The blood on the ground smelled much more. He could smell their stinky smell too. And could hear birds chirping clearly. It was as if a whole new world opened up for him. His previous world was as if only consisted of black-and-white lines while this one exuded rainbow lights.

He was trying to get used to this massive change while resting. After resting on the ground for a while he stood up and swung his sword to get used to the change in his senses.

When he swung his sword for the hundredth time he finally stopped and headed to deeper forest parts. Though he couldn't since there was no forest to speak of. There was just an open desolate area with a huge boulder in the middle.

A giant goblin much bigger than the goblins he fought till now, who looked like an Orc was sleeping while leaning on the huge boulder. His height was 200 cm tall, and his body was large with his belly looking even larger.

He had an extremely large sword laying on his side, due to its size it almost looked like a polearm rather than a sword.

When it sensed Tyler enter his territory that no goblin dared to enter, he woke up from his sleep, stood up and opened his blood-red eyes, and looked at him.

'He sensed me in his sleep?' He thought.

The Giant Goblin, No. Goblin Chieftain released a bloody dangerous aura that was powerful enough to make Hobgoblins kneel in fear. Before running towards him like a star shooting across the sky with his large sword in his hands.

Sorry for the short chapter! But i thought writing 2.500 words to finish tutorial in a single chapter would be worse,i tried to split in half.
