Lero Ro

Sighing, Lero Ro called both dark-haired boys over to sit with him.

Looking over to the other side of the room Ikari saw the boy from the first floor hadn't been swept away as well.

Sitting down next to Lero Ro, Ikari lent forward and stretched his hand out in greeting, "Hey, I'm Ikari nice to meet you."

Taking his hand the boy shook it, "I'm Baam nice to meet you too, I hope we can be friends."

Ikari's eyes widened in excitement, "I'd love to."

Placing a hand on his face Lero Ro chuckled, "The youth of today, so eager and innocent.

But whatever, I have a game for you two if you are interested.

We will guess who'll make it through the barrier first and whoever gets it right can ask the others a question.

How about it."

Baam and Ikari nodded in excitement.

"Good then let's begin."

Looking around the room Ikari analysed every single regular and his gaze soon fell on a green lizard-like girl.

"I choose the green girl."

"The bob-cut girl."

"The lizard."

They all said simultaneously, turning Ikari looked at the other two in surprise.

"Is there any particular reason you two picked her?" Lero Ro asked curiously.

Baam shook his head, "Just instinct."

While Ikari placed his hand on his chin and frowned in concentration, "She's extremely strong and the most likely person to recklessly show off her superiority."

Lero Ro chuckled, "Very interesting, well since you won against me a ranker, I'll allow you to ask me a question.

Both Ikari and Baam looked at him in surprise.

Looking at Baam Ikari motioned for him to go first, nodding Baam looked up at Lero Ro, "Have you seen a blond girl with freckles?"

The ranker shook his head, "No"

Looking down Baam sighed, "I see."

It was then that Lero Ro turned to Ikari, "And your question?"

Ikari sighed, "What are the Princesses of Jahad?"

Lero Ro smiled, "An interesting question, well they are females that are usually chosen out of the ten great families.

They are then gifted Jahad's blood and are sent out to climb the Tower.

After which they become rankers and are usually offered one of the thirteen months.

If by any chance one of the princesses gathers all thirteen months, they are given the honour of becoming Jahad's wife and bearing his children.

Does that answer your question?"

Ikari nodded slowly trying to process the new information.

"DAMN IT!

HOW CAN THIS USELESS TEST ELIMINATE ME?"

All three of them turned to look at the massive blue-haired man who shouted.

"I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS BARRIER IS ALL ABOUT, BUT I'M STRONG ENOUGH WITHOUT ANY STUPID POWERS!

I'M THE STRONGEST OF ALL THE REGULARS HERE!

HOW COULD I BE ELIMINATED JUST BECAUSE I FAILED THIS TEST?

THIS IS NONSENSE!

BUT THOSE WEAK LITTLE BOYS PASSED THE TEST JUST BY CHANCE?

ARE YOU KIDDING ME?

WHY SHOULD I BE ELIMINATED WHEN I'M MUCH STRONGER!"

A burst of laughter echoed across the room, and turning to its origin Ikari saw Teresa holding her mouth a cruel glint to her eyes.

"You really think you're that strong, just because you're big.

Don't make me laugh."

Rounding on Teresa the man stormed over to her, and looming over here, growled out, "DO YOU WANT TO DIE?"

Doubling over Teresa tried to keep in her laughter.

The man turned red in embarrassment and raising his hand he punched her.

Or at least he tried to because when his fist was about to touch Teresa's face her sword flashed across the place where his arm was.

A cry of agony reverberated around the room as a fountain of blood burst out of the stump.

Falling to his knees the man tried to stop the bleeding, but it was no use the blood just kept flowing.

Turning to look at Lero Ro, Ikari saw that he hadn't moved, "Mr Lero Ro, why aren't you punishing Lady Teresa?"

Lero Ro smiled, "Well it's quite simple really, he attacked her first it was self-defence."

Seeing that the Test administrator wouldn't be intervening both Clare and Tresa walked through the barrier and straight towards Ikari.

"Come on little lamb, say goodbye we're going."
