"Father, when will I enter the tower?"

"You don't just enter the tower. You get chosen and trust me, you'll get chosen. After all, you're my son, but enough with the chitchat. Let's get back to training because I'll be leaving soon."

"Yes, father."

A boy with black and red hair replied as he got up off the grass.

"Today we're gonna practice using shinsu. Also, do you remember what I told you about shinsu?"

"Yes, you told me I'll be able to use shinsu in the tower, but wait until I make a contract with an administrator to use it so I don't draw attention to myself," Ryu replied as he prepared to practice.

"We're gonna spend 10 years practicing using shinsu and fighting without stopping since I'll be leaving soon and you'll need to be in perfect shape to defeat everyone you come across."

"Let's begin."

<10 YEARS LATER>

Inside a small home, a man with black and red hair was currently resting on a small bed not big enough for his size, but he didn't seem to mind.

*FlashBack* "Father, who is my mother, and what's your name? You have never told me anything since the day I was born."

"I wish I could tell you these things, but I can't right now since it'll put you in danger, but you'll find these answers when you enter the tower."

*End*

The man sighed as he remembered an event that had happened a few years ago.

'He told me I would be chosen to enter the tower when he left, but it's been a year since he left and nothing yet.'

Ryu got up from his bed and prepared some breakfast.

After eating, he began the daily routine that he had done for the past 11 years, which was eating, training, sleeping, and repeating the process the next day.

...

10 hours passed and Ryu finished up his training and headed back inside. As he went down to rest on his bed, he thought about a few things that never made sense to him.

'Shinsu, the only way to use it is by making a contract with an administrator, but I could always use it. I found it weird. I was a regular like everyone else, so how was I able to use it?'

'He probably knows, but never told me why.'

'I'll think about this another time.'

Ryu prepared to rest for another day but was disturbed by the unfamiliar presence he sensed behind him.

He turned around instantly and saw an odd creature he had never seen before.

"You've been chosen to climb the tower." The strange rabbit said as he moved his staff towards Ryu's forehead.

On contact, Ryu's body disappeared.

...

Ryu got up from the ground and looked around, seeing only tall wheats and rocks everywhere.

'Is this the inner tower? Where you climb to reach the top. It looks different from how I imagined it would be.'

"Hello, regulars. You're currently on the 2nd floor of the tower. Evankhell's floor."

A mysterious voice spoke from nowhere, slightly alerting Ryu.

"We will start the first test and the rules are as follows. The 200 regulars currently here have 30 minutes to battle after that. The test ends."

"Begin."

The voice disappeared, and the sounds of battle echoed everywhere.

'So we have to survive 30 minutes to end this test. Seems easy enough.'

While Ryu was thinking, a regular tried sneaking up on him and as he got closer, he dashed from behind, preparing to slice Ryu's head off in one strike of his sword.

Ryu sensed this and ducked. He then turned around, sending a kick straight into the man's gut, sending him flying in the air.

The man hit the ground, but with no time to let his opponent recover, Ryu got behind him and snapped his neck.

'That guy was weak. Is everyone at his level?'

Ryu picked up the guy's sword and started wandering around the area, looking for more people.

While Ryu explored the area, he came across several bodies lying around lifeless.

'So many bodies everywhere was this the doing of one person?'

Ryu walked for a few more minutes, but stopped when he encountered three robed people.

They all turned around and stared at Ryu.

"Another regular coming straight to us. What a shame your journey ends here."

A feminine voice spoke out as she walked towards Ryu.

"Do you need any help?" asked the big-robed guy.

"No, I'll make this quick."
