Beginning

On a normal dark night a young man in his early 20's can be seen reading fanfics on his phone while sitting on the edge of his bed.

Letting out a sigh John thinks how amazing it would be to have the power to do anything he wants, from creating/destroying universes to creating chocolate from nothing. As John is thinking this his phone starts sparking and in the next instance it exploded, causing John to drop it on the fluffy carpet underneath him, as John is now lying and screaming on the ground in agony from loosing a couple fingers and having severe burns on his face and chest, while his hands are charred black, the carpet has caught fire and the fire is spreading fast.

Outside of his appointment you can see smoke filtering between the gaps in the door while you can hear screams that could give people nightmares for the rest of their life. As John comes to the first thing he realises is that he feels no pain, the second thing he realises is that he is sitting at a bar with what looks like a Demon as a bartender cleaning glasses.

As the Demon finishes cleaning up it turns to John and asks in a deep rough voice.

"Hey kid do you want a job"

As John in shock nods his head slowly he asks in a trembling voice.

"Wh-what is the job?"

The Demon seeing John nod his head smirks and completely ignoring his question opens a portal beneath him while saying.

"Have fun kid, I'll be watching"
