The vision of Wivior and Quinn's conversation was gone. The blue fire was still ablaze around Elvira, and the reptile man was nowhere in sight.

It felt like someone had pulled her heart out of her chest when Wivior made that promise to Quinn. She wanted to drop to the ground and cry her heart out, but her eyes were already dry, red, and stinging from excessive crying.

Sebastian was right. Wivior had no reason to want to be with a witch like her. So far, she had only betrayed him and only thought about changing. It wasn't enough. It wasn't enough for him at all.
