"You're Chief Jiang, right? It's been a while since we met."

"Yeah, it's been a while."

White bear greeted Jiang Wan with a smile, and he greeted him with the same enthusiasm back.

They had previously met once while White bear was Ren's manager. At that time, Jiang Wan had just started as Chu Min's manager.

"Are you back to being Ren's manager?"

"No, I am just accompanying him on set. I am not his manager at the moment."

"What about your agency? I heard that you joined SK entertainment."

Jiang Wan asked with a pondering expression. White bear replied in embarrassment.

"I, I was fired."

"What? But you're good at your job."

"Actually, the girl group I was assigned to was disbanded unfortunately I had to take the blame for it."

White bear replied honestly. If it was anybody else, he would have tried to hide the reason, but White bear replied honestly since he hated to lie.

"I heard rumours that SK entertainment had many celebrities with bad attitudes. I guess it was true."

White bear just smiled at his words and didn't answer.

After some talks, Jiang Wan finally moved on to the main point.

"Actually, I want to ask you some questions."

White bear nodded and signalled him to continue.

"Did Ren chose an agency yet?"

Jiang Wan asked with a hesitant expression. White bear replied with a straight face.

"No, I don't think he chose an agency yet."

"Really!?"

Jiang Wan's expression brightened at his words.

"Do he have an agency in mind?"

"No, I don't think so. We never talked about it before."

White bear shook his head as he said that and Jiang Wan expression was of bliss at that moment.

He was making several plans in his head to poach Ren in their company.

While watching the shoot, he was shocked by his acting. It was mesmerising, and he felt that Ren would become a big star after the movie.

He also knew that Ren didn't have much time to prepare for his role. He prepared for the role while applying his makeup.

It was hard for a top actor to even do that.

He was confident in his discerning eye. His eye had helped him become a Chief in just two years.

He was sure that he would become a big star. So didn't want to wait for the movie to release to recruit him.

He felt that many companies would want to dot it after the movie releases.

He would receive offers from top agencies. At that time, he would not consider his agency.

He wanted to attack when the time was right. If he recruited him now, then he would surely get a raise Ren was successful.

Maybe, he could even be promoted to a team leader. He was pretty happy thinking about his bright future.

For him, Ren was a gold laying hen who no one recognised till now. He couldn't let go of the golden egg-laying hen.

"We only have the fighting scenes left. So, please bear with it."

Director Zhu said to Ren with a smile. His attitude was really different from before.

Before he was indifferent, but now he was talking to Ren with a smile. Ren was not bothered by it.

Just like how a jewellery lover will love an exquisite jewel, all Director's liked a good actor.

No matter how much they bashed the bad actors, they would always smile while facing a good actor.

"Director, we don't have many scenes left."

"Yeah, there are some action scenes left, and then the shoot will finish for today."

"Can I do the action scenes myself?"

Director Zhu was surprised by the question. He was not the only one, Assistant Director Ming and Chu Min were also surprised by his words.

"Have you ever done martial arts?"

Director Zhu asked as he glanced at Ren's muscles. His body was fit, but he didn't know if he knew martial arts or not.

"Although I never did it, I wanted to try doing the action scenes."

"What are you saying? Let the stuntman do the stunts. You could harm yourself while doing them."

Chu Min said worriedly, but Ren just shook his head and said.

"Don't worry. I just wanted to try. I won't hurt myself."

"I still think-"

"Okay, you can try them if you want but first practice with the action director."

Director Zhu said as he interrupted Chu Min.

"Director, what are you saying?"

"Isn't it okay. He can just try them."

Chu Min wanted to say more, but he could not go against the Director.

"Thank you, Director. I'll do my best."

Ren thanked the Director, and Director Zhu just nodded at him.

It was good for him that an actor wanted to do the action scenes himself. It will look better on camera, and they would also have to edit it less.

It was a great situation for him.

"Follow Assistant Director Ming to the Action Director. He'll teach you the moves."

"I understand."

Ren followed Assistant Director Ming leaving Director Zhu and Chu Min alone to talk.

"Do you know if he can execute the fighting scenes? It will be great if he can do it."

"I don't know if he can do it or not, but he isn't the type to make empty promises. I'm not sure though."

Chu Min tried to lower the expectations for the Director so he would not be disappointed later.

"Well, I don't care about the action scenes. If he can't do it, there are stunt doubles. All I care is about his acting."

"His acting was great, right?"

Director Zhu smiled hearing that question and replied.

"Yeah, it was great."

"I told you, right? His acting was great. If you hadn't listened to me, then you could have missed him."

"Yeah, if I missed an actor like him, then I don't know what would have happened. He was born for acting."

Director Zhu also felt that it would have been a pity if he didn't make Ren play the role. He could not think of any other actors who could do the part better than him.

"Oh yes, does Xin Ren have an agency?"

"Agency? He doesn't have one at the moment. Why are you asking?"

"Well, it's about the payment."

Director Zhu could not give Ren his previous contract money. That would be cheating as he thought that Ren's pay would need to increase as his role also increased importance.

"So, who is the man who came with him? That bear-like person."

Director Zhu said as he glanced at White bear who was walking towards Ren.

"His name is Dong Shu, he is Ren's previous manager. He's just accompanying him today."

"So, you mean he doesn't have any agency at the moment? Are the agencies getting lazy lately? They can't even scout such a good actor."

Chu Min just smiled at Director Zhu's words. He could see that the Director really liked Ren.

Director Zhu wasn't the type to concern himself with the actor's private life. Him taking an interest in Ren was a good thing.

"I know some agencies. I'll introduce him to some good agencies. What do you think about it?"

"Really? That would be great for him."

As Chu Min and Director Zhu were talking, someone was standing close to them. He heard their conversation.

He was Jiang Wan, Chu Min's manager. He had previously wanted to poach Ren, but now he was in a panic after hearing the Director's words.
