Chapter 18: Battle End

As the Justice League regrouped, Typhan's energy coalesced into a massive ball in front of its gaping maw. The destructive energy radiated ominously, aimed directly at the city. Panic spread among the military personnel, civilians, and reporters. Cameras continued to roll, capturing the horrifying scene as the death beam formed.

The military shouted orders, trying to coordinate a defense. "Get those civilians out of here! Move, move, move!" an officer commanded.

Families on the beach screamed, parents desperately trying to gather their children. "Run! Everyone, run!" a man shouted, his voice lost in the chaos.

Reporters, still broadcasting live, described the scene with fear in their voices. "This monster... it's about to unleash a catastrophic attack on the city! We... we might be witnessing a disaster of unprecedented scale!"

In the midst of the chaos, Tōneri smirked. "Bring it on," he muttered. With a burst of chakra, he propelled himself towards the city at supersonic speed, leaving a sonic boom in his wake.

As Typhan's beam of destructive energy shot towards the city, Tōneri quickly performed the hand seals for a summoning jutsu. "KUCHIYOSE: GOJU RASHOMON (Summoning: Quintuple Rashomon)!" he called out upon entering the city and falling from the sky like a meteor forming a small crater, slamming his hands to the ground. A summoning insignia appeared, and in an instant, five menacing gates began to materialize.

With a dramatic, metallic clang, the first gate emerged from the ground. Its towering, menacing structure cast a long shadow over the battlefield. The ground trembled as the second gate rose, its iron form glinting in the sunlight. The third gate followed, each rise more formidable and grand than the last, creating a spectacle that captured everyone's attention. The fourth and fifth gates ascended with resounding booms, lining up like dominos, each more imposing and robust.

The military personnel and reporters, still recording, watched in astonishment as the ginormous gates rose from the ground. The gates, each designed for ultimate defense, stood ready to withstand the monstrous attack.

The beam collided with the first gate with a deafening explosion. The impact sent a shockwave rippling across the landscape, causing the ground to quake and windows to shatter. Everyone held their breath as the gate shuddered under the tremendous force, the metal groaning and creaking. Finally, the first gate crumbled, unable to withstand the onslaught.

The second gate held firm, bracing against the continued assault. The beam pressed harder, its energy crackling and sparking against the iron surface. After an intense struggle, the second gate, too, gave way, breaking apart in a blinding flash of light.

The third gate faced the beam, the clash creating a thunderous roar that echoed across the city. The gate buckled but held its ground for a few crucial moments, allowing hope to flicker in the hearts of the onlookers. But the relentless beam eventually broke through, shattering the third gate into pieces.

The fourth gate bore the brunt of the remaining energy. The attack weakened but still potent, pressed against the gate. The metal strained and groaned under the pressure, smoke rising from the friction. The gate tilted, its iron surface glowing red-hot from the intense energy. Finally, the beam dissipated, leaving the fourth gate scorched but still standing, tilted back against the fifth gate.

As the smoke cleared, the city held its breath. The once-lush landscape before the gates was now scorched earth. The defense had worked, and the city was spared from the full force of the attack.

In the city, civilians who had been watching the live feed cheered and wept with relief. "We're saved! That hero... he did it!" someone shouted.

Superman, regaining his strength, looked up in awe at Tōneri's feat while Batman narrow his eyes but let out a little sigh in relief. Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and the others regrouped, their expressions was that of relief.

Tōneri, standing in front of the gates, surveyed the damage before dispelling the remaining gates. His Byakugan remained activated, ensuring that Typhan's next move wouldn't catch him off guard. The battle was far from over, but for now, the city was safe.

Seeing its attack stopped, Typhan roared in rage, summoning dark clouds that began to form ominously above it. The atmosphere grew heavy with impending doom as Tōneri, observing from his position, thought, "This is starting to get out of hand. That looks bad."

Over with the Justice League, Batman quickly brought out a sophisticated gadget that began to analyze the rapidly changing weather patterns. "It's is manipulating the atmospheric pressure and temperature, creating a massive cyclonic disturbance. If this isn't stopped now, the city will be erased," he said urgently. The water around Typhan churned violently, and the winds picked up, howling with increasing ferocity.

Seeing the growing threat, Tōneri jumped backwards And created a shadow clone, surprising the League.

"Clone?" Batman muttered, narrowing his eyes.

The clone began molding chakra, forming a massive Rasengan. Sealing markings appeared on the Rasengan as it grew in size. Suddenly, the clone disappeared, cracking the ground beneath it, cutting through the air at mach speeds and reappeared atop Typhan.

Clone Tōneri: "Jiton: Ōdama Rasengan ( magnet style:Big ball rasengan)!"

The Rasengan, now ten meters wide, crashed down onto Typhan with immense force. The collision created a powerful air pressure that pushed back the water and disrupted Typhan's attack, causing the beast to scream in pain. The sealing marks from the Rasengan started crawling over Typhan's limbs, immobilizing it.

Seeing this Ctoneri dispels.

The original preparing for another attack channeling more of his chakra. He extended his right hand forward, concentrating his chakra. "Time to end this…" he muttered, as he formed a Rasengan, increasing the chakra input until the bluish orb became lighter, then jade in color. The dense chakra within the orb made it glow with an intense hue, surrounded by white shuriken-like structures created from wind chakra the jutsu getting bigger till its 30meters in diameter. The sheer power and size of the jutsu created a crater beneath Tōneri as he completed it.

Back with the Justice League, they watched in awe and concern. "What is that?" Wonder Woman asked, her voice tinged with astonishment.

Superman, using his enhanced vision, exclaimed, "Oh my God! That technique contains billions of tiny blade-like needles!" He relayed this information to the others, who were equally shocked.

The reporters, still recording, described the scene with breathless excitement. "This new technique looks incredibly dangerous! Is this mysterious figure part of the League?" they speculated.

Tōneri, ready to unleash his attack, declared, "Ikke! Futon:Oodama Hisui Rasenshuriken (big ball Jade Rasenshuriken)!" He threw the dense chakra sphere towards Typhan. The sphere carved through the land and sea, creating massive tidal waves on both sides of its path.

The Rasenshuriken sphere hit Typhan's abdomen, and started to push the creature further into the middle of the sea. Typhan growled and tried to resist in pain as the powerful attack managed to push it further backwards, skidding it towards the horizon until it was almost out of sight.

Then, a powerful explosion echoed from Typhan's location. The Rasenshuriken diffused, creating a massive, condensed chakra sphere that expanded continuously. The attack generated a shockwave that blew anything within its radius, forcing everyone to brace themselves despite the explosion occurring about ten kilometers away.

The chakra sphere's expansion shook the water and disintegrated clouds in the evening sky, demonstrating the sheer amount of power unleashed. The gusts of wind from the explosion were akin to those produced by a super typhoon, affecting areas several ten kilometers away.

Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, and Martian Manhunter shielded the civilians from the massive winds and tidal waves created by the attack. They stood firm, using their bodies as barriers against the onslaught.

In the city, the military and civilians watched in awe and fear. "Did you see that?!" a soldier exclaimed. "That was unreal!"

Parents clutched their children tightly, murmuring prayers of thanks and relief. The reporters continued to broadcast live, capturing every moment. "The city is safe for now, thanks to the mysterious hero and the Justice League," one reporter said, his voice filled with emotion.

Tōneri appeared floating amidst the devastation he had wrought, surveyed the scene with his Byakugan still activated and turning into the tenseigan for a moment as it churned before returning back to the byakugan,'that should do it.'

The city was safe, and Typhan was subdued.

As the massive explosion from Tōneri's attack subsided, the Justice League members regrouped on the beach. The impact of the battle left a heavy silence in its wake, broken only by the distant sound of waves and the murmurs of the civilians and military personnel.

Superman turned to Tōneri who appeared via a shunshin(body flicker), "That was an incredible display of power. We need to know more about what we're dealing with here. That entity is unlike any threat we've faced before."

Tōneri, still vigilant, replied, "It's clear this creature is not just a mindless beast. There's something, or someone, behind its actions."

Batman, using his communicator, connected to the Watchtower. "Oracle, we need a full analysis of the energy signature left by That creature and any potential links to known magical entities."

Oracle's voice crackled through the communicator, "Understood, Batman. We'll start cross-referencing immediately. But there's something you should know – It's energy signature has a distinct pattern that matches some ancient Atlantean texts. This isn't just a creature; it's a construct of dark magic."

Aquaman, overhearing the conversation, frowned. "Atlantean texts? Could this be a remnant of an ancient enemy?"

Wonder Woman "I don't think so. From its appearance to its powers, it resembles Typhon, the father of monsters."

The Justice League members exchanged uneasy glances, speculating on the true nature of their foe. As they conversed, some civilians began moving towards them, gratitude etched on their faces. They thanked the League members, especially Tōneri, for saving them.

One little girl from earlier tugged on Tōneri's sleeve, her eyes wide with curiosity. "Will the monster come back?"

Tōneri's expression softened as he knelt down to her level. "No, it definitely won't be coming back to hurt you."

The little girl smiled brightly, reassured by his words. The military personnel then began directing the civilians to safety.

The scene shifted to the city, where reporters provided updates on the situation.

Reporter: "It's been a few hours since the battle that shook our shores. The state of the city is slowly returning to normal as emergency services work tirelessly to restore order. The Justice League, along with an enigmatic new hero, faced a monstrous threat that could have caused untold devastation. But who is this new hero? And will we see more of him in the future?"

Back at the Watchtower, the Justice League reviewed recordings of the battle and discussed the monster's origins and the day's events.

Aquaman "The disasters have ceased, and the ocean is now much calmer. We suspect the monster was feeding on the ley lines, causing all the problems."

Superman "It's good we dealt with the issue quickly. Tōneri was a tremendous help."

Wonder Woman "Agreed. His abilities are extraordinary.

Martian Manhunter "Indeed."

The members glanced at Batman, who had been silent until now.

Batman: "Yes, while I am thankful for his help, we need to be cautious. We still don't know the full extent of his powers."

Green Arrow: "You're too paranoid, Bats."

Batman: "Paranoia keeps us prepared. Let's just keep an eye on him."

The conversation continued briefly before they concluded the meeting.

Dinah knocked on Tōneri's room. He opened the door, offering a small smile.

"I just wanted to check up on you and say thank you for helping us. Even though this isn't your world, you stepped in when we needed you."

Toneri looked at her and said "It was no problem. It helped me stretch my legs a bit."

Dinah smiled and nodded, "Glad to hear that. Take care." She then left to join Green Arrow, departing the Watchtower.

Left alone, Tōneri closed his door and moved to the window looking at at Earth. His eyes shifted to the Byakugan before transforming into the Tenseigan. He muttered, "Amenosakeme:(Heavenly rift)," and a portal, resembling Sasuke Uchiha's but with black smoke and green instead of purple, opened behind him.

In the middle of the night, above the calm waters where the battle had taken place, a portal opened. Tōneri emerged floating in mid-air, his Tenseigan shining brilliantly. He gazed at the tranquil sea, he pointed her palm downwards as if calling on something.

Suddenly a green orb emerging from the sea towards Toneri as the ball started to shrink it came up to his outstretched palm. 'Gotcha,' he thought staring at the captured entity inside the tenseigan orb and entering his palm. A smile on his face as he had gotten what he came here for.
